Hi guys,
Can someone please tell me how to dump the ROM either onto my SD card or to the desktop. Or how i could unlock the extended ROM on the M500. There are a lotttttt of software customisations and a very good BT stack that would be quite useful on our XDA's.

What software customisations are there? I played with it yesterday and it seems pretty stock to me.
If you going to backup the ROM, you might also want to make a copy of the Extended ROM files - this is an additional procedure you'll find on the links above; however, you'll have to hard reset your PPC before you can do this, so make a backup if you've changed anything major.
Also, shouldn't this post be in the Magician board?

There's some people are able to use backpack in WM2005, I'm not part of it. Maybe you could install Tof's newest ROM. After installing it, I'm able to see my backpack battery, and in this only ROM that I can see it, but still no luck in functioning the others. VGA presentation and CF not working. Few people had managed to use VGA presentation, as for CF I believe no solution to this matter. Guess you should write an email to HTC to ask them to help recreate backpack driver for WM2005.

Sorry post this question here, but i´m very confused. I have a qtek 2020 PXA263,400mhz,128ram,32flash,storage size 14,57mb Model PH10B, Rom Ver-1.72.00.wwe 03/15/04 Ext.ROM 1.72.750 and Microsoft Pocket pc version 4.20.0, and i´d like upgrage for WM5, but i´m not secure about do it.
Lot´s of information, disperse.. lot´s troubles.... can you help me and give me links where i can find all procedure and the last releases.

I am experiencing problems after installing wm6 on my treo 750v
- i go 2006 got shrinked screen
- agenda one is jamming the system
- phone changed from unlocked to locked for vodaphone only
My question is how to solve all this. As updates from different suppliers are not yet adapted for wm6, I suggest that downgrading to wm5 is the best alternative. It is just ...... how to fix this ? I checked this forum, without success.
As I expect other will be having the same problem, the best thing is probably to start new post and ask the more brighter people on this forum to help.
So: please help, how to downgrade treo 750v wm6 to wm 5 ?

thanks, with this reply and some other tips on the forum I managed to get wm6 working perfectly.
I can not reproduce the trick exactly but here's some points.
1. I used the extrom unlockers procedure on the forum, see wikipedia treo 750v on this forum
2. used this file T750URT.exe, see link: http://www.palm.com/nz/support/downloads/treo/750vupdate_recovery.html
Afterwards phone worked again, agenda one worked.
However, the screen size problem with igo unfortunately remains, so I had to install tomtom, which did not have the problem

Hi everybody, I'm very very glad to find this forum because I do not know, where I can get an working rom-update for my Palm Treo 750.
A few weeks ago I got an Palm Treo 750 from one of my colleagues which is still unlocked and has Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 Professional installed, but: italian language. My colleague told me, that to change language it is necessary to make an rom-update. But: I can't find the right rom-update yet. I still asked palm service but no answer.
Can you help me please and tell me how to do?
