Problem with writing new ROM - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 Software Upgrading

Hello,
I have an iMate JAMin, and I have upgraded a while ago to the latest DOPOD ROM. Now I have a problem with the phone and I want to send it back to warranty, and for that I have to write the iMate ROM again, but when I do that something strange is happening, it goes until 95% of the process and then it gives me an error message in wich it states that the nbf file can not be used on my device. Please advise I really neeed to send it to warranty.
Thanks!

Rom upgrade problems, HELP Please.

I was in the middle of a rom upgrade with my magician and the battery has died now after trying to reupgrade with the original imate rom, it gives me a country code error. When I use get device data and view the devicedata.txt file all I get is 2 little squares where there was the operator ID. How can I reinstall the original rom from Imate and have it overwrite the operator ID on the device so I will except the upgrade. I have tried this via SD and with the original upgrade but with no luck. Help is really need please. I know this can be done I just aint sure how to go about doing it. It happen to be with my Qtek 2020 when upgrading to the 2.20 CHS version it changed from Qtek to o2.

ROM UPGRADE PROCESS STUCK on 95%

The story: Received an new O2 XDA NEO from Germany. Being portuguese I don't know nothing of german idiom. I dowloded the JAMIN Eng. rom from the FTP and tryed to unstall this rom. With the ROMUpadte utility that comes with the ROM I get an error. With the ROM Update Utility_NOID the process stars and go normally until 95%. Here, after some minutes give me an error saying I can't upagrade with the NBF file.
I was a little passed out thinking that instead a phone I had a brick. Pul out the batery for moments. After I turned on the phone and it shows the tri color scren of bootloader. Ok conect the usb cable again and start the upgrade to the RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID. and voila... the process completed without problems.
The weird thing is why my phone doesn't accept the JAMIN rom?
Anyone has an expplanation for that? Thank you
can you tell me wehere i can download a jamin rom ? then i can test it with my o2 xda neo
I upgraded my Neo to jamin rom without a problem. I was using the RomUpdateUtility by machinagod, which you can find in this forum. But now I have switched to RUU_2151327..._DOP_ASIA_WWE too. To me, the new version DOP_ASIA_WWE rom works much better than that jamin. More fast, more effective. The JAMIN always runs out memories and makes the CE-Star chinese input inactive, especially when WiFi used. The DOP_ASIA rom rarely meets such problem.
Upgrade rom
You can only upgrade rom but can not downgrade. So now you are at 2.15
but Jamin is at 2.13.
Hi,
upgraded qtek s200 with RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship.exe, using ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.zip, which does not check Vendor ID.
No major issues so far. During boot dispays Dopod instead of QTEK .
Besides, few differences I found in voice diler and new program called AutoConfig. Appears, to configure automatic settings for your GSM carrier, but only for ASIAN operators, which is useless to me. No worries, interface still English.
It was mentioned few times in this forum, that you may experience some "delays" during flashing your device - don't panic, don't touch it, just wait for some time, it will finish on its own.
Good luck with upgrades.

Changed my Rom. i want my i-mate rom back

hi guys
i have an i-mate JAMin and recently i've upgraded it's rom to dopod818pro
now i can't upgrade the rom via i-mate site.the process starts, but when it reaches 95%, it stops and after some time i get an error with the code 326, which means:
ERROR [320~328] : INVALID COMMAND
These errors seldom occur. However, if one of these errors occur, it could not be recovered and the device had to be sent back to the customer service center. In this case, you have to flash a new ROM code

now, how can i solve this problem? is there any way i can upgrade form the manufacturer site (i.e. clubimate.com) ? or should i let go of this luxuary?!

Stuck at bootloader

Hi Everybody,
First of all let me thank in advance any help and expertise provided.
So the problem i need to solve is the following. I have the S200 (bought in germany, so it's the O2 XDA NEO), and as soon as i bought it, as it was in german, i managed to flash it with a rom in English (1.5 years ago)
Now, i tried to flash it with a Touch rom (don't remember which. PDA VIET? maybe) and it didn't work and now i'm stuck at the bootload with the current message:
IPL 2.20.0001
SPL 2.20
I've tried several roms and some (apparently) flash but then get back to this bootload screen, others don't flash at all.
Anyone can help me then solving this? I'd like to install one of the Touch roms, if not possible just bring it back to life with any WM5 roms...
Thanks in advance again
Cheers
L
Search for an official WM5 ROM like from o2 or Qtek! Connect your Neo via USB to your PC and start the update process! That#s all to bring your device back to live!
Thanks for the quick reply, but i tried this already but it doesn't work as well. I did somehing to the SPL (i was doing it a bit blindfolded as i'm quite newbie in this) and i think that's why i cannot flash anything anymore, not sure.
Is it normal to have SPL 2.20 (no other digitis after the 20)?
ANd to bring it back to life, do i have to install one of the original roms? can't i simply install the Touch versions?
Thanks again
Cheers
Try a really official WM5 ROM, like from o2 Germany! And when I correctly understand which Touch ROM you mean, it can't be used to recover your Phone!
Ok, tried as suggested but got
error 296
This NBF file cannot be used for you PDA phone. Please newer NBF file
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Hmm, also tried with RUU_Prophet_220739_2207119_021921_QTEK_GER_Ship_NO_IPL_SPL.exe
from List of Available Original Shipped ROM Versions, and got Error [300]. This Update Utility cannot be used of your PDA. Get Newer Update utility.
Also tried with this one
RUU_Prophet_220739_2207119_024721_QTEK_GER_Ship.exe
From the same place,
Error [294] Invalid Vendor ID

thank you for your reply, i tried from that link several roms including this one RUU_Prophet_215738_2157127_023021_QTEK_FRE_Ship_NoVendorID.rar
No vendor ID. This was the only one that started the flashing process, but stopped at 80% with the error [326] This nbf cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please check your nbf file...
Anyone, tips?
How to proceed. Thanks in advance for the help provided.

Try and flash the QTEK NVID WM5 AKU2.2 ROM. I'll find a link soon, but I think there's a copy on skyn3ts FTP.
Try this: ftp://xda:[email protected]/Roms...'s/RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe

That means it is unlocked. Try the ROM I linked earlier just to get the device usable.
