what I meant is modifying the screen just before tapping the screen that will prompt for the password. the screen won't displayed if we dont enable the password. there is no problem in modifying the info itself, but I'm just thinking if we can customize it with images and some text.

Hello everyone. This is my first post on this forum and I'm hoping that someone can help me solve a problem. I have been unable to figure out how I can change the action associated with tapping a notification on the Today screen. Specifically, when there is a new voicemail notification visible on my today screen, I want to change it so when I tap on it it runs a mortscript instead of dialing *86. Anyone know how? Thanks in advance for your help.

If I get a new ICQ message it will directly shown in a popup! Is it possible to prevent this? For new SMS and Email you can untick "Show Message" but for others too? Where can I find it?

Start > Settings > Sound and Notifications...
From Manila Settings > Menu > All Settings
Click on the Notifications select the notification type that you are looking for....
The fields below are populated with the current settings.... change to your liking....

I was looking at new tabs at Wal-Mart yesterday and i looked at the transformer, checking out
The serial ( it was a B90 ) and i noticed the lock screen. It had 9 buttons, set up in a square and you had to pull the right 3buttons in a certain way or you couldn't unlock it. I googled it but can't seem to find one. I'd love to get this screen if anyone knows where.

Are you talking about the pattern lock option that's available under Location and Security, Configure Lock Screen in settings?
Edit: Maybe not, because the pattern unlock requires four dots to be connected...

Correct, Location and Security, Configure Lock Screen in settings. Although it does consist of nine dots you should be able to choose as many dots as you want to form a pattern of your choosing.

While I cannot tell you how to permanently fix this, I can tell you it happens to me as well. I guess for now we must go re-choose the lockscreen wallpaper whenever we fix permissions.
Adb pull framework-res and change the default lock wallpaper and the keyguard wallpaper to ones of your choosing. They are in res/hdpi.

Quick question. Hope this is a good forum for this question. Hopefully someone has the answer that I have overlooked.
Lockmenu is a very cool lock screen app(to me, anyway. I'm a noob so...). Gives very quick access from the lock screen to whatever apps you wish. Sort of like Shortcuts, but directly from a lock screen.
My problem is when I unlock from the main Unlock Slider on the bottom left, it takes me to the default lock screen on my Skyrocket.
How do I disable the default system lock screen?
There is no option in the settings to disable the default lock screen for those of you who might think its that simple.
Anyone else having this problem?
I have tried the Nolock app first to disable the default system lock screen, but...
So in other words I go through two lock screens most of the time. Once in awhile it will unlock to the home screen from the Lockmenu Unlock Slider as it is supposed to.
I'm running ICS rooted on Galaxy Skyrocket.
Any help is much appreciated.

I've been looking and looking and .... Guess I looked right past that option. I can be such an idiot sometmes.
In Android 5.0 I've noticed that under the "when device is locked" dropdown, I no longer have the block sensitive content option anymore. Does anyone know why this is? Also, if I try to go specifically into the messenger app and look for the option to make the individual app "sensitive", it is not there. Any insight? Thanks.

Hey, I have the same issue on Nexus 4. I don't understand how's that possible
Just a question, when you receive a notification, do the screen turns automatically on to show it? My screen remains turned off. Is it supposed to turn on when a new notification pops up?
It is only an option if you have a secure.lock screen, Eg pattern, pin etc.
