Does anyone out there have this file on their PDAs (it's in the \Windows folder)? I've looked everywhere - I'm finding posts about it but no links. Maybe someone can PM this file to me?

you can edit the "eT9.Vox.****.kmap" file in the windows-directory ... it's easy to understand an fast to rewrite ^^

There is a swiss rom on the ftp, the language french is present on the rom (thank to the person for this upload), but you must change the t9 and keyboard files.
but even resco explorer can't write or rename the file et9.vox...kmap

I am to stupid .... but I am not able to change my hardware keyboard layout - for the software layout I am using PCMPocket.
I have installed an english ROM (with some new apps) on my german Kaiser - so far so good.
Unfortunately I am not able to chnage the software and hardware layout from english to german (QWERTZ).
I have chnage the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD]
"CurLang"=dword:00000407
and have also installed
XDA_JCEspi2005_German_Input_Kaiser.cab.
(including sofreset)
Nothing helps.
Any hints are welcome.
