Does any body know of a place to download the original Orange rom that first came with my M600 I am sending it back to orange and would like to reflash it with their firmware for obvious reasons

Lately I tried to upgrade my orange spv m500 to the newest rom upgrade available; One was made available by orange on the dutch site www.pocketpcclub.nl.
As I was installing the file the setup proces stopped while trying to upgrade the extended rom.
I tried and tried again, but to no afail. In my dispair i tried to upgrade with a spanish q-tek 1.11 rom. I ofcourse got the country code error and the wrong device id error......
I brought my spv m500 back to the shop; but the technicians couldnt replace the original extended rom.
So now im left with a spv without extended ROM.....
My device settings now are
Radio version: 1.12.00
Protocol version: 1337.42
Rom version: 1.12.00 WWE
ExtroM version: (empty field)
I still cant upgrade to the latest Extrom version............
Can anyone help me? Is it still possible to put back a working Ext rom?
Is it a UK M500?
Did you back the original rom up before upgrading?
Have you looked on the ftp site for the original m500 rom?
original Orange dutch Extended ROm version needed?
It's a NL rom(dutch) but I believe it has pretty much the same settings as the UK Version(few exceptions for GPRS settings I believe)
I havent found a original SPV M500 rom that comes with dutch settings.....So I would be very thankfull if somebody could upload such a version to the xda-ftp site.......

In the upload directory is the new rom for the SPV M500 Dutch. It is the real Dutch version. After you flash your Magician it has all the settings voor Orange NL even the location is already pre selected.
It's a modified rom for the Imate- Jam, modified by Orange.
If you use the Maupgrade_NoID.exe it will falsh every magician I guess.
It works on my MDA Comapact (PM10A).
And in case that doesn't work, I have the Extended_ROM directory (Dutch) on my pc, so if you want I can send it to you.

I tried to upgrade the radio of my qtek s110 last week. Unfortunatlly, it faild by mistake and even I can not flash back to the orignal rom. I was told by someone else I can save my phone by use shipped rom. I have downloaded some shipped rom from the ftp. The problem is I use it in the UK, I am not sure which one is suitble for me. I prefer to use the qtek one. I have found one rom from qtek name is:
MA_DT_WWE_DutchRetail_11200_550_11200_Ship.exe. I guess this rom is for the user in Holand. Can I user this for my phone(bought in UK).

There is no official release of the Orange UK ROM, but I did create an installable ROM from a dump of my Orange UK TyTN II before I started flashing. It can be got from here; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1586817&postcount=2

You flashed a different Radio ROM didn't you.. That Sim-Locks Orange TyTNII's.
Check the stickies for the SIM Unlocker which is what you'll need to do to fix it.. Note that there is no Orange UK Radio ROM available and so you'll have to flash a different one.
I'd dump mine but:
a) It wont be the version you had anyway's as I seem to be the only person with 1.27.14.32 on Orange UK..
b)I've not actually seen a way to rebuild the Radio ROM even if I did dump it.
oh... finaly... unlocked... now i guess i can flash what rom i want?

No no no, I had (ephasis on had) that rom and really need a dump of it. I know I cant easily reconstruct into a flashable rom but I'd like to have a dump to be able to play with ready for when one of the brain boxes on here comes up with a solution for reconstructing a dumped radio.
So... do you still stand by your offer to dump your radio? I'd be ever so grateful

I tried this. It's only upgrade. I need original rom. I tried to install wm6 and I don't unlock superCID. My original rom was delated and now i can't install other.
On other forum i found that I need original rom from Orange PL. If i want to install wm6 or 6.1 RUU shows error :invalid vender id. On my smartphone only shows starup animation and bootloader. What I have to do?

I have orginal Orange PL ROM on microSD card. If You want I can try to make an image.Backup ROM working-I've tried.
If you do image of rom it will be in *.bin. I can't install rom in this format.
Do you have a normal/standart installation of this rom??
Or whether you would help to me in the installation of rom in *.bin format.

I've made ROM backup before flashing new soft, so I can make an image of my card-->then You'll put this image on to Your card & that's it.After that insert card into the phone.Push camera button and put data cable into the USB slot.Phone automaticly start flashing from backup ROM fro SD card.
I've tried and it's 100% working.

Ok, I've just had to send my Vario III back for a warranty repair. Before doing so I wanted to flash it back to the Official T-Mobile rom as it was currently running the official HTC WM6.1.
Thanks to this forum I managed to get a reconstructed T-Mobile ROM and flash it, but that had the wrong radio ROM and then I had to find and flash the T-Mobile boot screen etc...
It wasnt the most pleasant/ stress free day I've ever had, but I got there in the end.
Anyway, its now back and so far so good, but they have flashed it with new software, but it's still only wm6. Before I go ahead and re-flash wm6.1 what is the best way to backup/extract the software as it stands now so if i ever need to send it back again it should make it a hole lot easier.
