Tweaking Voice Command - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 Software Upgrading

Hello all!
My question is:
Can Voice Command be tweaked so you can delay the voice that announces the caller?
I would like to hear my ringtone before the voice comes on... just a second delay would be enough.
Any one got an idea (besides using a different ringtone)?
Thanks

Voice Command... Can it announce caller 1 time only?

Hey all...
This is my first post, but I've been reading the forum for a long time and I have found out so much because of this website that it's become ridiculous. I feel very fortunate to have found it and to be part of it. I wanted to ask a question however that I can't seem to figure out on my own.
Microsoft Voice Command... I really love the program but I have one small gripe about it. I really like that it can announce an incoming call so I don't have to see it to know who is calling, but when the ringtone plays at the same time it really garbles up the sound. I don't like this at all so I came up with a kind of compromise.... I have it vibrate and make the announcement first and then I have the ringtone kick in right after... but it announces a second and third time which garbles up the ringtone again.
It would be really great if I could get the announcement to play the first time only. I was wondering if there is way to have MS Voice Command make only one announcement of the caller so the ringtone will play nicely afterward? I haven't been able to find any option except to uncheck "Announce incoming call", but I was thinking maybe a registry tweak or something?
I've looked around the board and a few others without luck... So I'm not expecting much, but I figured someone might take a look and see for me.
Thanks in advance...
Marc
i also experienced this problem as well. I hope somebody can help because Voice Command is a great app.

voice command works with lid closed !!!

I have found this voice command on the hermes forum that announces incoming calls and works with lid closed with bluetooth. Tested after 10 min with lid closed. Sometimes i just have to press twice on the bluetooth handsfree

I'm using the latest video call V7 rom with 1.18 radio:
Also this voice command tweaks are great:
Changing the speed of Microsoft voice command
\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Speech\Voices and on the key DefaultTTSRate (default value is 4 )
Increasing the number will increase the speed of the narration, while decreasing the number will slow it.
increase the volume , navigate to
HKCU\Control Pannel\SoundCategories\VoiceCommand1 Then change the value of AttenuationCategory from 4 to 1
Sound of the voice command will be even higher than the ringing tone.
You can also change the value of InitVol to 40.
Maybe rom makers could add this on their next roms !!
Just elaborating.
I had a problem getting the bluetooth to play the ringtone and incoming call alert. So here's a fix I figured out (trial and error of course )
First get voice command to notify the incoming call through speaker (probably with the file above)
Then go to Settings->Voice command->Notifications
Then uncheck "Only during free time". You should probably also tell it to use the bluetooth only when it's available.
Announcements should play through bluetooth headset.

Xperia X10 Ringer Stops

This is my problem
say A calls me and I couldn't pick up so the phone rings then directs A to my voice mail
so then A calls me again
this time the led would flash, the screen would show that A is calling, but the ringer would not ring.
The ringer on my phone is always on the highest ringer and I tested it out and I am still getting the same results.
Does anyone else has the same issue??
That is what exactly happen to me, i don't have a voice box (since roger is expensive)
But i notice if i do miss the first call (being forward or not) the second call will never rings.
As long the second call is the same person as first call.
I think it is a call blocking system so you don't get rings everytime the same person multi-call you within a time frame
ii thanks I thought that I was the only one or something
yeh rogers is bloody expensive, also you any suggestions to fix this
and thanks
I suggest you make a super ringtone with max sound. So you don't miss the first call. Or
simply write a android program that calls you back on missing calls.

Google voice commands not working

I've noticed that my phone doesn't "pick up" my voice when I am trying to use the built-in voice settings on Android.
For example, when I open Google Navigation and click "Speak Destination" it doesn't hear me. I never get the analysis of my voice.
Has anyone noticed this?
nobody? surely i'm not the only one

Voice recording and microphone level on incoming call and after

Have this weird behaviour on my Nexus 5 I cannot cure.
When I am recording voice file using ANY voice recorder app in the Play Market (Easy Voice Recorder, Smart Voice Recorder, any others, too) and an incoming call arrives (or I place a call), the app continues recording BUT at a very low volume, almost muted, which, I assume is normal and by design. However, when the phonecall ends, the recording level does not restore and continues recording at VERY LOW volume.
Drives me nuts.
Can other owners please confirm the behaviour and/or suggest an app that is not affected by this 'bug'
Thank you
up
Nobody has ever come across this?
