Please Someone Add New Rom

Can someone please add the new update for the UK T-mobile WWE
to the FTP site
cause the one that is there at the moment is a pile of rubbish, and i dont think it is a proper rom
for a start it should say Magician in the Hex Editor at the beginining and it does not say that,
Im dying to try the new update to see if it solves a few issues, with the phone

Its the T-Mobile UK MDA compact ROM 1.12.00
It is found in Magician/Dumped_ROMs/

Are you sure it's complete? As much as i know there must be on the end of the file the entry HTCE

it is complete, as this is the file i used to make my bigstoarge, and i am using it on my mda compact. This was the tmobile.uk.1.12 rom that was uploaded, but has been broken some how on the ftp etc. mine does work

Sorry, but Where is auto config ?

Hi, great great developers, i sucessfully upgraded my brand new 838 pro to wm 6 , but i dont have auto config for operators in asia or any where, can some one pls pls , post a cab for asia or indian operators, i have already searched this site, i coundnt get info or files.

Most new WM6 roms does not overwrite the Extended ROM, so if you are sure your ROM does not overwrites ExtROM, use TotalCommander and navigate to \Extended_ROM (You need to type it yourself), and you will find the operator settings cab there, just install them and the settings will be configured.
p.s. You posted to the wrong forum, 838 Pro is a Hermes not Wizard.

Which Tornado ROM are you using, if you are using Phil's BETA ROM, you might need to do some tweaking, if you use Andot's PEE, it is ready to be used, just config the XML file or use VOIPISER in the Accesories

Help! Landscape Feature for XDA II Mini

can anybody help me? after upgrading to 1.13 Rom my landscape feature is gone.. where can i get that feature again? thanks!

Can you please post the URL where you got the 1.13 ROM? The landscape mode, is just a .CAB file.
A simple registry tweak, should help. I'll research this for you.
Can you go to SETTINGS -> SYSTEM -> SCREEN (and edit the orientation)?

German customatization of Opentouch Roms

Hello there,
anyone tried to change WM6.1 to german or another language?
Actually, I work with the "OpenTouch"-roms. Many thanks for this. These are amazing roms!
I'm able to translate the Manila2D plugin. I attached this file. This file imports a translated 0409.mui. This works great!
When I import *.0407.mui-Files I'm not able to run the Phone Dialog, the contacts Dialog or the SMS-Dialog. This also happens when I rename the Manila2d.0409.mui into Manila2D.0407.mui. After that I change through registry the language to 0407.
The import of this Files are also attached. I try also every not existing 0407 file, which is there as 0409, to 0407.
I have the same issue => I cannot run phone,- contacts and SMS-dialog.
Can anyone help me?
P.S.: OpenTouch 7.3.1 works great without modifications!

I try to extract the *.mui files from WM6.1 and I copy these to windowsfolder the next reboot the system is rebooting again and again.
Could anyone help me?

You can not recook herald roms since they are protected.
There are no rgu files include so the rom will not work when you try to recook them.
If you want a german version, please pm me and as time allows I can cook one for the german folks,

Since ttran is on his deserved holiday, this strategy should work as well to generate a largely german (or other) ot7.x phone (Manilla2D):
download the german file in the manilla 2D language thread:

Copy all the unzipped files to the windows folder (this will overwrite the english language in 409 with the 407 information without needing to change the registry). Works nicely for me.
