8107 Update - Reboot Loop

So I tried to apply the 8107 update yesterdayevening (Unlocked Orange Omnia 7 w/dev & interop unlock). It got to step 9 (Rebooting Phone) but at this point it got stuck in a reboot loop (white Samsung logo comes up for a few seconds, disappears and then comes back ad infinitum). I pulled the battery to shut the phone off and then looked around for a solution. The Samsung Device Update Support Tool was suggested so I gave that a shot. It applied it's update then rebooted the device and I'm back to a reboot loop.
Any ideas what I can do next? Is there anything I can try or do I need to take it to a service centre?
try a hard reset...if this not help u must flash a new rom...but first try to load the backup from zune...i dont think u must go to service center...but of course...if the bootloader is bricked u have a problem....
Sent from my OMNIA7 using Board Express
When I press down Camera+VolumeDown+Power to get to the format/hard reset screen, the format screen flashes up briefly and then the phone goes into it's reboot loop again. Any ideas what that means?
I can get the phone into download mode though (Camera+VolumeUp+Insert USB cable). Is there no way for Zune to restore from download mode (a la iTunes and iPhones restore mode) or is my only option now to flash a new rom from download mode?

TP2 not booting

My TP2 (Sprint) battery went too low and turned off. After charging the battery, the phone just comes up to the Sprint splash screen (Yellow Sprint Symbol) and gives a little vibrate and reboots again. This goes on continuously till I pull the battery . I on am Stock Sprint WM6.1
I can enter into the bootloader screen. I have tried
1. Task 29s
2. Flashed a different radio.
3. Reflashed Stock 6.1 ROM again.
4. Hard Reset it a couple of times
My phone is HSPL unlocked in that I see *olinex 1.0 when I go into the bootloader.
I have tried flasing ROMS from both the SD card as well as from the PC. I cannot go past the green Win 6.1 screen .
I am out of ideas and would really appreciate it if anyone saw this signature previously or has any ideas as to how to solve this.
TIA

You could try re-locking the phone, installing the stock 6.5 rom, and then unlocking the phone again.
Also be sure to give it lots of time during the first boot (like do the install, and then leave to make dinner or something). There have been days where I though the phone had locked up, only to have it finish booting when I was about to pull the battery.

Wizard,
I ma noob and was wondering the need for relocking. Does it have any benefits as opposed to simply flashing WM 6.5 on to the phone. I have flashed WM 6.5 onto the phone and it goes all the way to the Orange screen(Preparing for activation or something like that with the progress bar) and then reboots again endlessly.
My hesitancy with re-locking comes from the fact that to unlock you need to be in a position to active sync and if the flash fails after the relock ,I might not be in a position to unlock again.

In rare cases re-locking and then re-unlocking resolves rom loading issues.

As your phone does not boot, I don't see why you are worried about it. You have nothing to lose. Your phone does not work now at all.
You can always flash a stock rom to a locked phone anyway. The only tool that would rule out is the task 29, and you already said that didn't work.
Either way I would try to load the stock wm 6.5 rom, and give it a very long time to finish loading before doing anything else first.
I have to echo WizardKnight's advice here... It seems crazy, but it fixed one of my dead TP2's. It wouldn't boot past the first white HTC screen, I never even got the OS screens to load...
I tried literally everything I could think of... for some reason relocking it revived it...

[Q] Bootloader Stuck On Restart

Hi all, I have a weird issue that every time I flash a ROM on my phone I get stuck on the bootloader screen after I restart for about 5-10 minutes until my screen turns off, then after the screen is off im able to wake it and use it regularly. I have this issue with almost every ROM I have tried. I used the RUU to restore my phone about a week ago if that matters. My phone is S-OFF and pre-rooted. Does anyone else have this issue or know what is wrong?
I think i found my issue im updating my firmware to the lastest see if that works..
Yea sounds like you r not on the newest firmware out.

completely stuck at "firmware update encountered"

When i got the phone it was already dead (stuck at logo). then i flashed the phone's firmware. it did succeed but wont boot up. some weird thing happend and i flashed twrp (hoping to revive through custom ROM instead). it was very difficult but i succeed. When i was finally flashing custom ROM ( it took a hell of a time) , the process finished and at the initial boot-up, the screen went crazy like when you see your T.V doesn't have signal like burrrrrr.
I took it to nearest technicians but they said i have corrupted my partition and there is no way to fix it.
Now the screen is stuck at " firmware update encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies and try again.
Hoping response asap.
Desperate
Thanks in advance.:good:

Orange State on Doogee BL7000

Hi, so me (total noob with rooting/flashing Smartphones) tried to root the "Doogee BL7000". Everything went fine till i unlocked the Bootloader. I've activated the option to unlock it and when the Phone prompted me to unlock it i said yes. After that it rebooted and now is stuck in the Boot logo. It says that my Device has been unlocked and can't be trusted anymore, reboots in 5 seconds.
My question, since i couldn't get an answer from browsing the internet, is it possible to fix the orange state?
My only hope was to flash the Stock ROM back onto it, but since it is stuck in bootloop there is no way i can see that it will stay connected to my computer
Thanks for any helpful and angry comments about my english and/or my Smartphone skills.
Sincerely, Chris
