Thanks for your reply, but, i know, and i have searched for the GER ROM x times, found the FTP link ........but i can find nothing, especially, i am despondent that on the FTP site there is not a ROM which call O2 xdamini GER shiped rom existing.......the other way round, there are many Ger ROM on the FTP, but they are all T-Moblie GER ROM or other, not O2 xdamini GER_shipped ROM!

I have just made a backup of the german O2 ROM of my Xda mini (brand new, bought at the beginning of the month).
It's a 128 mb .nb1 file because I used a 128Mb SD card.
If someone can explain me how to put if on the ftp, I could help you.

I also would urgently need this O2 ROM Version (which i cannot find through all the WEB)
as a completely beginner (and fool as i know now), i Updated my ROM to the T-Mobile one (MDA) , without making a Backup first...
Thank God, it worked out fine, but I am missing some of the O2 functionalities and I did not notice any remarkable improvements...
I do not know, how to ftp Upload - have you done it in the meantime? PErhaps you can send it to me in an other way?

Just find some webspace somewhere and I will give you the 128mb .nb1 file with the O2 ROM I have.
I don't know how to put this file on the ftp and it might be unlawful due to copyright matter :roll:

i think this site is awesome . i have 2 pocket pcs first one is O2 XDA mini s (HTC WIZARD) & the other one is O2 XDA Zinc (ASUS MARS II). yesterday i had sucessfully flashed NBD 8.3 Rom on my O2 XDA mini s . It works like a charm ...... i was just wondering ... could i get same kinda interface on my Zinc too may be in .cab file . i m running wm6 on Zinc . when i flashed NBD rom there was nothing special abt it .. but when i installed the extended rom my eyes popped out it was so damn awesome ( KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK NBD) ...... so can i get the same extended rom version on my ZInc too or may be a .cab file for touch flo & i have tried those plug inns , dialer pads , home plug inn , audio manager pug inn.... i m carzy abt touch navigation ( BLACK CUBE)

Unfortunately, the TouchFlo files have to be built into the ROM, so a cab file with the relevant files is unfortunately unavailable at this time.

thanxxx for ur reply......so that means i have to get a new custom made rom for O2 xda zinc ....... any ideas where could i get one of them .....

sorry pal i dont really know how to unlock extended rom as my zinc is just 2 months old .. so i m not taking any chances or i might just brick it .
but i would really like to know that if i could get touch flo on my ZINC

i think the lack of replies should answer your question. doesn't seem like there's a kitchen for it. not familiar with flashing techniques for that phone but if there is a method of flashing you can edit the image used to flash with an existing kitchen if the formats are the same. I guess people only like dealing with HTC devices on this site even though its called xda (as in ppc lineup of o2)

Me too... just bought an O2 zinc .. and also look for how to make custom rom

if you install the separate applicatoin 'Touch Commander' you'll get the same functionallity as the TouchFlo CUBE Biotouch
if you install the new SPB PocketPlus 4, you will get the nice scrolling features of TouchFlo (scrolling/panning in any application where you see a scrollbar).
so, put those two applications together and you don't need the touchflo anymore...

i just bought an O2 xda Neo ppc and accedently i updated my english firmwire to german frm the o2.de site.. can anyone please tell me how do i get my english firmwire back ( windows mobile 5 english ) or upgrade it to windows mobile 6 english.

this is a china forum of prophet.
this rom is not SPL and IPL if you phone is G3 version ,you can try download it and flash it. i flash many time.no problem.

and it is english version.. i hv tried to download the wm6.1ROM from HTC site..
but it says that upgrade is not suitable for my phone.. bcuz my s/n is different..
i hv to go to hk's htc site to download but it will be chinese..

You have to be kidding. You have started a new thread just for saying that the links are broken .
Maybe you have to take a look at the rules of the forum.
Anyway I don't want to sound rude but in the link that you said that other users send you you can find the link for Wizard Windows Mobile 6 for newbies. I have just checked all the links there & they are working ok. Take a look .
I hope I didn't offend you but I am using XDA since 2007, I have never opened a thread & I am always finding whatever I am looking for .

1st of all, i strongly recomend you to search 4 answers, if you dont succed.... i will help if i can ok? (use the search bar)
2nd which model do you have?(look in xda-dev....wizard>>>wizard mobile6)
(write ipl/spl) and once you know the device you have, will be a lot easier to you to find the right anwers XD
and try searching first.... (that way you avoid misunderstood)
