Hi Guys, maybe some of you will know the answer, how to help me. I try to flash MDA Compact, but when the flash started, PC shows some error and finished the flash program. From that time my MDA, when I do any kind of reset, always come to bootloader. Only one possible soft reset is to pull out the batery. Also is absolutely impossible to flash the device again even with patched maupgrade_noID file If any one of you know, how to solve this problem, pls. help me. Or if any one of you know, how to destroy device to not wake up again will help me as well, because my operator will not provide guarantee service, if there will be diferent flash visible. So I have only two choices. To solve the problem or destroy the device totally. Pls. HELP
i was installing new rom on my device.when it was 12%, the computer got locked and i had to reset.Now,my baby did not reflash again.i tried again but himaupragadeutility gave : communication problem. what can i do now? can anyone help me? so a few people know this device, the others even do not know what pda is. what i can do?????????????????????????????

Press power+camera+Action button(Joystick) and simultaniously do the soft reset ..u will enter into bootloader mode...u will se serial on the screen(without backlight)..then put it in yr crqadle and run ugrade utility...

I bought a Qtek S200 and I tried to do a ROM upgrade. I followed the instructions given in the website http://kimpeacocke.blogspot.com/2006/06/how-to-perform-rom-upgrade-on-your-i.html
I got the upgrade from this site at ftp://xda:[email protected]_022021_Dopod_PDAMobizEdition_v101.zip
I followed the procedure given in the website given above. After I upgraded successfully the phone has become locked in the boot loader screen. I have done both soft reset and hard reset. Nothing works. The phone gets locked in the boot loader screen. Need help.

Try to reflash with Qtek ROM instead...
Why you said that it's locked on the Bootloader screen?
Is it frozen or locked?

I tried flashing with the Qtek ROM. I cannot active sync as it does not connect to the device. So I cannot flash. As soon as I powerup, I get the Qtek screen and then it goes to the bootloader screen and stays there. Nothing else happens. I have sent the device back to the guy from whom I bought it.
I got the same problem as Julian - I tried to upgrade with the mentioned ROM and now my device are stucked at the boot screen :?
Some help here ? I'm in same situation
I have an O2 with Dopod rom, after I instaled some software I must to restart and then my O2 are stucked/frozen on Windows Mobile splash screen
Only if I remove the battery I can stop the pda.
I can't do nothing to make him to start. Some ideea ?

Same issue here with a O2 Xda Neo with German Rom.
Applied the procedure of the prophet wiki : How to CID unlock and Upgrade your Prophet (SPL 2.09 & 2.15)
After step 6 and a soft rest it is stuck in bootloader and will not do anything else, not even off or hard reset...battey has to be removed in order to shut it off....
Any ideas?
Remind me to find the guy who wrote the wiki page on unlocking CID in Prophet......good job pal......

Good news at last. I sent my Qtek S200 to the guy from whom I bought the phone. He fixed it and now I am a happy man. You can check with him if everything else fails. Email him at E gadget Depot ( [email protected]).

i tried to upgrade my QTEK S200 with this RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID.zip it got to 95% and then it gives me nbf file cannot work with your PDA. Please help.
I have this problem too, i know only one exit from this situation - i have flash my s200 with RUU_215737_2157135_023021_QTEK_s200_RUS ROM, now it work fine.

and remember First off all, to enter in Boot Loader Mode is:
Press Camara + Soft Reset, then release soft reset and keep pressing camara button till appear the Boot Loader.
Then upgrade using a ROM

you can get normal state, follow the bolded attention at above quote.after entering the 3 colour screen connect USB and you can load the original WM5 ROM on your device. after that, upgrade to any wm6 by the rules and active sync.

I wonder if you can help. I have trawled this and many other forums and found many people that are having problems with their HTC Prophet or variations of the same device.
I have the Orange SPV M600, it was in my pocket and when I took it out to turn it on, it was displaying the bootloader screen after seemingly soft resetting itself. It is displaying the tri-colour bootloader with the following IPL/SPL
- IPL 2.10.0001 - SPL 2.10.0001
I have tried the following things that I have found in the forums:
1. Taking the battery out for 10 minutes ~ Still the same.
2. Hard Reset ~ I get the "Press SEND button to factory restore" message
but nothing happens when I push the call button.
3. Reflashing the ROM ~ I am unable to do this. I only have Vista and
WMDC does not see the phone in bootloader mode.
Is the phone dead? If so how could this have happened?
If anyone could help I would be eternally greatful. Oh and to add another complication the phone is still CID Locked

well if you where is south africa i would of helped you im sure if you have it runing on xp it will work my jamin did the same and all i did was push the camera button and reseted it got into tri colour mode and reflashed it

If I was closer you could have sent the phone to me and I would have had a go at reflashing the rom, but I'm at the other end of the country....

guyz i have a jamin.. my cousin was flashin it and flashed the wrong software.. if i reset the phone it shows the boat loader screen!! and i cnat do anythin..caz u tell me which slftware to flash..and how to do it?? My freind told me all solution to my problem's will be solved here

First of all, download the NVID (no vender) AKU2.2 from here. http://rapidshare.com/files/17208693/RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe
Then, open activesync, select connection settings and UNCHECK the connect through USB option.
Then run the NVID file. It will take a while, and may seem to get stuck at 80% or 95%. Just leave it alone.
When that's done, you can either use it as it is, or load anyother ROM you want.

First get a version of ActiveSync, any will do, but more recent is probably better. Then download the ROM (see above). In ActiveSync>Connection Settings uncheck the Connect through USB option. Then connect the Prophet.
Next Unzip the NVID file, and run RUU_PROPHET... This will flash your Prophet with a very basic ROM. If you then want to upgrade to a different ROM follow these steps: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310452
Hi, i have search the formu an the web and didn't find an answer to my problem, so i'm desperate. I hope someone can help me with my problem:
I have flashed android built on nand, but after a while the touch screen has didn't work no more, so i tried to get back my windows rom back. Now can't enter in the tricolor bootloader screen to flesh windows RUU. I have tried all the buttons too with soft reset but nothing works. I tried to remove battery then soft reset with camera pressed, also not working.
If anyone knows how, please help me...
