Album and Camera 2 now in \Storage\Programs you should make shortcuts in Start Menu and assing Camera button in Settings -> Buttons to Camera 2, what's all

May be you have bad shortcuts? Try to execute Album.exe directly from \Storage\Programs
I only did the Camera upgrade from ampda. What happened is that the app created a new camera file in \windows called camera270xxxx.exe So I deleted the camera.exe file (old camera app) from \windows and renamed the camera270xxxx.exe to the camera.exe
Maybe the same thing with album you have to do

I tried WM5 but no STK menu, but when downgraded back to WM4.20 STK is ok but my camera is gone, can't click or use it...
try this solution, i hope it will help you
open a notepad on ur pc and then write this :
40#:MSCAMERA?shellres.dll,- 8263
save the file and then rename the new text document.txt into : camera.lnk
then copy camera.lnk into your ppc folder windows/start menu/programs.
restart, then try tje camera, i hope it will help you.

I want this version of faria to put in any rom of my like,
I want help, to get it integrated in the rom or in any other to get it.
I have tried to put the all the file of this application taken out from molski 3.3 to muns rom by deleting the original camera file and replacing it with farias camera application, but i failed, after i cooked the rom i was surprised to see the old htc camera application although i put the file.
Can anybody tell me (or Faria), which file i require to put, to get the faria's camera application.

I have the same version and build number, except mine does not say faria. What is different between the two?
well, I googled and found faria's camera app and loaded it to my phone. so far so good. liking the extra templates.

how do u import the camera reg key
i didn't see a camera reg key and therefore did not import it. I just rebooted after copying all the files and it's working fine on my phone

What am I missing? I didn't see or find a reg key in the .rar file.

And to see reg file you must set view hidden file in the folder option.
I first put the files that are to be copied to the windows folder in a folder on my storage card (any folder). I then opened total commander and selected all the documents in that folder and did a copy to the windows folder. done. Restarted the phone (using the power button) and when it came back up, Faria camera, at your service.
Did you find the difference in camera.?
Apply this fixes it will become more better

- Install PV Player 3.3 (This is actually for PPC so you need to be clever, or wait until I post a smartphone version)

Just copy the pvplayer.exe and pvres0409.dll (from PACKAGE_Rose_pv_0409) (or if you use another language that one too) to windows and the pvplayer.lnk to windows/start menu! That should do it!

Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions.

Everything works!
Extract from cab all files for Windows directory and place them into the device.
Delete this files from cab and save cab.
Modify cab working.

I had already installed the original MiniWeather on my on my vox (Orange E650) and all was OK except that in portrait mode the weather image didn't show on the clock tab whereas it did in portrait mode. So I decided to install the vox version to see if it would be fixed.
Unfortunately I've found that the files can't be copied over to the device's Windows folder because Resco says they already there as read-only files in ROM and therefore cannot be overwritten. So after installing the 1.0b CAB I get the following error when I initially select options:
Unknown command: "nu=timestamp"
Line 13(\program files\nrg\chomeminiweather\SetOptions.mscr):nu=TimeStamp()
Is there anything that can be done? Would the clock/weather Image have been fixed anyway? If not I'll revert to the previous version

can someoene post a home screen to show how this should look. Its messed up on mine i believe I get 2 panels - the first one works but the image is messed up. The second one says "forecast" but in there it just says "push centre button to update, push right softkey marked options to set your options"

Frottage........ It sounds like you've had a similar problem to mine above.
If you can't copy the files over the install doesn't work properly.
I've reverted to the non-Vox version and all now seems OK on my Orange E650 with Dr.Gonzo's 5.2.19195 Rom
Try using the Resco Explorer trial to copy them across. It's because the files it's trying to replace are in ROM. Resco worked on my Dr. Gonzo E650.

Guys im facing problem cooking Manila into the ROM,i dont know y?? When i run im Manila2D cooked ROM it runs f9 just a tiny problem tht it wont add programs to launcher, cities to Weather Update and Contacts to People section When i click on the button used to add these thing nthng happens I tries using Different WM6.1 Builds, I have tried different packages of M2D, i have tried Update 18 and 19 both, same problem. Could you tell me what to do??

Update: I found answer to my question. "You must localize the .mui files to match that of the language of your firmware" Even that is done but still the same problem!! please help me
Update2: I installed HTC Home, it helped in showing the dialogs for adding cities, or programs but after i press ok nothing is added to Manila 2D Again Please help me. THNX
Try looking for the older HTC home plug in and add that to th e kitchen.
Run the kitchen to look for double files then remove th double files from the HTC Home folder. when all the double files are gone, remove all graphics from HTC home folder, bring over theregistry settings from the htc home rgu to the top of the m2d rgu, also move the remaining files from the htc home folder to m2d folder.
Maybe that is what you are missing.
