finaly we can get doom3 running on our pda's well maybe we also need
SLI with some ATI or nvidia pda graphics chips but ...
yep mhz increase is significant but as I read processing power will be better in only ~25%
Which are all the Phones with - 1 GHz Qualcomm CPU ?
& which is Best of them all ?
wah, you even bring back a 2005 post about 1ghz cpu haha..
and since intel already have monahans chips out that can go up to 1ghz and even sold to marvell now, they have pxA930 tavor new chip which can run higher than 1ghz.
but xscale chip are not widely used now due to price. hence now we only get most of the pda with qualcomm chip
we have to get a snapdragon device and do a benchmark with intel monahans and tavor first
qualcomm video driver is always a problem to everyone holding onto HTC devices playback dvd resolution.
so far comparsion with intel xscale & qualcomm qtv driver, intel is still the winner.
thank you
Hello!!!
What do you think the new JAMin, is better than M600??.
The 200mhz is dual core?. Is it fast enough?.
Regards,
Porras
Thinking likewise
I also like the qtek 8310 TI OMAP 850, 200MHz
Is 200mhz fast enough for Skype ???
Please, some one has some information about M600 vrs JAMin?.
200mhz, dual core. It is right?.
Is it fast enoght, for everything?.
Regards,
Gabriel Porras
some information??
M600 Info
Hi
I have a M600 at the moment its very fast
cpu is a S3C2440A 400Mhz
64Mb ram
128Mb Rom
WM5
And it will take a 4gb SD Card
It has a lot of good software inclouded
i can post screenshots if you like
I was wondering if the difference between the 400Mhz Polaris is noticeable compared to the 200Mhz Artemis and Touch? Is it worth double the price of the Touch I'm wondering which its currently on ebay at.
Is there anything on the market with more than 128mb RAM and 400mhz CPU?
many

we have a wiki full of various info

Most of the latest HTC model's fit the bill!
If seen that some smartphones with 320x240 pixel QVGA display have a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, that could be clocked up to 528 MHz. That this processor is just built in devices up to QVGA resoltion, I think like the MSM7225 it provides no graphic acceleration. But what is the difference between MSM7225 und MSM7227 processor ?
No idea friend difference between MSM7225 und MSM7227 processor.. iam new here
google to the rescue

Thx for this link.
The details are a bit scratchy around for these chips but they both appear to have graphic acceleration in the form of a Adreno 200 but the Wikipedia page for Imageon only shows the MSM7x27 as having the Adreno 200
I apparently can't post links because I just signed up but this is from CNX Software's site:
* MSM7225
The MSM7225 chipset includes a 528 MHz ARM11 processor with a floating point unit (FPU). A 400 MHz modem processor, 320 MHz DSP, hardware-accelerated 3D graphics, integrated Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS capabilities, a 5-megapixel camera and 30 fps WVGA video encode / decode are also included.
* MSM7227
The MSM7227 chipset includes a 600 MHz ARM11 processor with a floating point unit (FPU). A 400 MHz modem processor, 320 MHz DSP, hardware-accelerated 3D graphics, integrated Bluetooth 2.1 and GPS capabilities, an 8-megapixel camera and 30 fps WVGA video encode / decode are also included.

Ha! I like
MSM7225 does not have floating point unit, level 2 cache as per :
http://wmpoweruser.com/a-look-at-the-qualcomm-msm7227-chipset-in-htc-trophy-tera-and-photon/
MSM7225 lower than MSM7227
What i can say,
MSM7225 lower than MSM7227 by number, this is my opinion, what is lower that is worse.
The more so both is Qualcomm labeled.
Look out, 7225 would give you 512 MHz, when 7227 - give you 600MHz.
When you have exactly equal characteristics, i think its weighty argument.
But i will happy to see some comparison of 512 Mhz with 512Mb RAM vs 600Mhz with 256RAM, or 512 Mhz with 256 RAM vs 600Mhz with 512Mb RAM.
Some body told me, how i can get such information?
I now, this is must be some of manufacturer's site.
Where every popular programs are tested, with graph's by time, RAM size, PROC time, etc.
PM, if you so good, please.
Thx.
