I've asked this elsewhere but
I've noticed that my O2 XDA II (Qtek 2020) (128MB ram version) plays some games faster than my Axim X30 312MHz (Mid)
Is ths normal?
With Skyforce i get some slowdown on the Axim but on the XDA it's smooth as butter.
Qtek 2020:
Processor: Intel XScale PXA263 400MHz
128MB Ram
Axim X30:
Processor: Intel XScale PXA270 with WMMX 312MHz
64MB Ram
Here are my benchmark results with GXMark. (XDA II - Axim)

The Axim is faster.
Is the reason that some games run better on the XDA II than the axim due to CPU architecture?

Any ideas why my XDA II runs some software faster than my Dell Axim X30?
Are there any other benchmakring programs i can use/try to assess me Axim's performance to my XDA II?
Thanks!
EDIT
Is ther any software which will tell me what hardware is in each PDA too?
Similar to a hardware manager or Sisoft sandra for the PC?

As you all probably know, HTC developed a new phone called the touch diamond. Now i am interested in the rom. It has got the new TouchFLO 3D as well as the new Soft Keyboard and many more. Some people think it won't be possible due to the bigger processor you will be needing to run the interface on a Herald. But can someone adapt the rom so it will be?
Grtz!
I think that HTC put that specific rom on the Diamond because i think the rom asks alot of the processor.
As you know, Herald doesn't have a very good and fast processor.
I would like to see manila on the Herald tho
The software keyboad can be found in the Kaiser forum, it works fine on the Herald.
I doubt the Diamond interface will run on the OMAP 850 processor.
I doubt TouchFLO 3D will run on QVGA
Not only that, but it is rummored that the Diamond has 3D acceleration providing the muscle for TouchFLO 3D, so it's not happening for us, unfortunately.
Oh well, thanks anywayz ^^
I'm thinking buying a HTC raphael when it's out there!
Grtz!
?
I got a Polaris (Touch Cruise). Is my processor enough for running that 3d Flow rom ???
Its really Slow on the wing i barely got it to work

Rockchip2918 is one of the most popular Tablet PCs, whose SoC uses 45nm LP process technology based on Cortex A8 1GHz CPU and Vivante GC800 GPU. With Android 2.3 OS running, its SDK2.0 can help to show Android 3.0 interface. Rockchip2918 has beaten Samsung PV210 and FreeScale iMX515 in credibility and performance, which are also made in Shenzhen, China. It gives players smooth operation experience with capacitive screen as well as play 1080P videos. Unpopular as GC800 is, its performance surpasses that of ARM Mali400,which makes it possible to run some large-scale 3D games.
This Aluminum Shell RK2918 tablet pc is of stylish design and has capacitive screen whose resolution reaches 1024x768 pixel. It is one of the most representative models in RK2918.

SuperPad Ⅵ has enhanced its CPU dramatically compared with generation 2 and 3. From the beginning ARM11 to current Cortex A8 1Ghz, SuperPad Ⅵ has possessed the features of mainstream tablet pc.
Generation Six with 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM has broken through the previous performance bottlenecks. For example, the advanced GPU GC400 can support 3D games now. Still using the traditional SuperPad mold, it has a large 10.1 screen. With built-in GPS, this tablet allows of both 802.11 b/g/n WIFI and RJ45 Ethernet network connection. In addition to two USB 2.0 ports, a beneficial MINI HDMI port is added to this generation.
In summary, the unique features of this model are large screen, built-in GPS and Antenna, ready-to-use Ethernet, debugged software and stable working condition. Even more, SuperPad upgrades the OS to Android 2.3, thus higher cost performance ratio.
Resistive screen? No market. Yeah...I'll pass.

Having a tablet with just Android OS is good, but having a tablet that can switch between Windows 10 and Android is waayyyy better, at least for me i will get my job done quicker than on Android!
I am wondering how well the windows will perform on the Teclast X98 Pro. Has anyone tried DUAL OS?
