ROM builds with radio versions 1.05.00 and 1.10.00 all include audio enhancements for voice calls. They also contain the improved camera driver. We are working hard to deliver these new builds to our full suite of languages.

Ensure that Microsoft ActiveSync 3.7.1 or above is installed on your PC. This can be found on the CD-ROM that came with the i-mate™ JAM or can be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile. Follow the on screen instructions. Then connect your i-mate™ JAM to your PC with the USB Cable connected directly to the PC.

Ok, has anyone tried that? I'm downloading the upgrade right now, the speed is incredibly slow, and I can't wait to try it out. Will post the deails when I finish the upgrade.

Can you install the rom on a XDA Mini

Does anyone else have problems downloading the upgrade from I-Mate website? The connection is very slow and the download gets stuck halfway. I tried a couple of times already. Can anyone upload it to a faster server?

Pablo, that's the upgrade for US phone, we (and you too) need the european one.

Just finished downloading the WWE upgrade, but installer says that the file is corrupted. Went back to the club-imate website and found out that the link to the WWE upgrade has been removed! Although the link from the first post still works

I just had a chat with an i-mate online person. He said his best guess is that the WWE version will be back up tomorrow. I'm sure that info is as solid as any previous timelines they have issued.
I have a WWE version. I just tried the USA version, which seems to be working.....but I get a country code error.

The USA version has a different radio stack version (1.10) and is intended for US JAMs to be used in US GSM networks (different frequency)

Thanks, Gevor, I assumed that would be the case. I should have an 850mhz version in the next week or two, so I will possibly need to put it to use then. I really just wanted to point out that the USA version appears to be working, so it's not the whole batch.

ANY KNOW , when is avaiable the spanish version 1.06 with all the revisions , that the WWE.???
Because the best rom in the moment is the WWE 1.06, but the other laguages (french,ita,Spanish etc etc have the version 1.03.
Please when the spanish version is avaiable to download... Upload it to the ftp.

Just wanted to know if there was any real problems with flashing my WWE Jam with the US rom?? Would I be able to reflash it to the UK rom at a later date??
EDIT Dont matter just tried and it wont upgrade anyway Come on i-mate get the UK file up! Ive already done a hard reset before the download finished ...... We live and learn!

I don't think it would be too wise to use the USA version anyway, if it is built to be used in versions with the 850mhz radio.

Upgrading my S100, some questions

I have the following information about my Qtek S100
Rom version 1.11.00 WWE
ROM date 03/14/05
Radio version 1.11.00
Protocol version 1337.42
ExtROM 1.11.129 WWE
I am new in this scene, so i have a few questions about upgrading my ROM version. I tried to read as much as possible trough the search function, but it is way to many
I have WWE 1.12.00 downloaded wich is 17mb. I believe this is the BigStorageROM. I also downloaded WWE_11200_188_11210.exe wich i believe this is the original ROM.
I read alot of BigStorage, but to be honest, i dont get the halve of it. As i presume the BigStorageROM is a stripped version of the original ROM?
Ok, i have the following questions:
1 - Can i just upload the BigStorageROM without preparing something?
2 - Will i have more storage on my ppc after installing?
3 - Is it wise to upgrade my 1.11.00 version for the 1.12.00 version?
4 - Can i install after the BigStorage an original ROM in the future?
5 - What are the negative things about it?
I truly sorry i have to ask this, but i saw some tutorials wich i downloaded, but they only tell me how to upgrade instead of telling the positive effects after installing 8)

no you will need to copy the first 416 bytes of your own rom
there are enough threats about that .

yes after a bigstorage hack you get about 19 mb extra storage

if your macigian has no problems with what you use it for ,there is no real need to update imho. but if your curious it can't do much harm

yes (have had imate ,qtek and t-mobile roms with and without BigStorage always was able to update ,with the right tools )

I have a problem with BT carkits (echo) and i am also interested in the 20mb extra storage

As you're new in this upgrading business, pls read some threads about 'black screen', 'dead magician', 'not booting' etc as well. Cause it can finish your magician (not to scare you) or you might think you finished it & it can be saved relatively easily by re-flashing with a shipped rom. So get familiar with some errors & possible solutions before you start. Can save you a heart-attack or ****ty pants

so almost exactly the same exept the extROM is a bit newer.
I don't have any inside info but I'm kinda expecting a new rom from imate for Jamin, there are updates floating around.

I have the last version but upgraded from the shipping vesion so I could activate the a2dp .
i have fiddled a bit but have not broken it.
I am now not too keen to play as it takes a bit to restore my settings/ programmes etc.
I haven't looked here for a while and nothing seems to have changed much

Have you managed to get A2DP working with the latest ROM from the i-mate website (the one question starting this thread was about)? As you rightly point out it is a bit of a hassle to do the flash, and I don't think I can be bothered untill the upgrade includes A2DP... Cheers

AFAIK, the newest ROM is a Dopod ROM 215 available at the XDA ftp site. Like you, I didn't want to reinstall apps and re-setup all settings, so I just did this radio ROM upgrade which is also at the XDA ftp site, it doesn't require a hard reset, it just changes the radio ROM. PDAMobiz_Prophet_G3_RadioRom_v2.30.21.exe.
There is a G4 version, if that applies to you.

It's an old ROM, HTC is acting weird.
was talking to parleyp on aim about it, he ripped it apart in a kitchen and got the build number.

This is a good old build. I installed it and had to flash another radio. It is fast and stable, but it is very similar to 3.34. I have no idea why HTC re-released it and now of all times. It has the exact same drivers as the previous ROM also.

yep 19212...actually the last official shipped was 19214...

I´m testing it, seems to run very well, gps faster.....
But I have an issue, cannot connect to wpa2-psk/tkip wifi networks, but to open/wep/wpa/AES and wpa2/AES with no problem.
It also doesn´t detect anymore the wifi network type, I have to manually select the authentication and encryption type, before flashing, it worked.
Any hints about how to solve this?

Possible its an older ROM that has been tweaked for improvements?

Found the problem
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WZCSVC\Parameters]
DisableWPA whas set to 1 and it must be 0

Its an old release. I'm using it for like 6months back d, start when i bought my kaiser in Malaysia. the 3.34 version is much powerful compare with this version. much stable and the radio function make your camera and gps work faster and more stable.

My TyTN II is running ROM 3.28.405.0 WWE. Started the upgrade and received this message: "ERROR [294]: INVALID VENDER ID. Please check your ugprade utility." Anyone else have this problem?

doubts with flashing a diamond (read all docs)

hi guys
i read many times the docs.
i think i should need to flash my diamond (awful movistar 7 spain theme).
first, the phone:
1.93.621.2
1.00.25.05
52.29.25.12W
MODEL ID: DIAM300 (I READ THAT MOST OF THE DOCS WERE FOR THE DIAM100 SO I HAVE DOUBTS HERE)
and the SPL is the 1.93.0000 ... so ...here are my doubts:
should I hardSPL to the 1.93 provided in the forum in order to get one of the ROMS available?
I m not sure... will I notice any difference, and MORE OVER: may I notice improvements or "deprovements"
Then, another one: for the diamond, I went to the HTC site and tried (I had to!) their last update, entering my phone serial number: no chance, as expected, it is not supported/available.
So I should try to flash the ROM.
But i m a bit scary, i haven t found any changelogs and no one speaks of the last ROM version (2.x).

(i read the 1.40 olinex was signed and secure, but I can t find it anymore- now i m not sure whether 1.40 is older than 1.93, as sometimes version numbers are not significant).

I d like an "official one", (as opposed to a cooked one), really close to the 16/1/2009 release from HTC. ideally a shipped full ROM version.
I don t mind it is not in spanish. Actually, I do prefer in English or French.

I used sprite backup to backup the ROM? was it the ROM? (I think so, but i have doubts) it was a pkb file if not wrong, now a sprite extract mobile .exe)
