ic. then I still prefer using MSVC or Cyberon Voice Command since I don't have to build tag for every single contact.

Adding voice Tag..geting to the ntaive windows menu...
Hi everyone,
In the past I have loved the feature of adding voice tag to my contacts and it Cyberon has a great success in dialing the correct number. I didn't like the MS voice commander's synthesized voice recognition...it rarely dials the correct number.
In Diamond 2 - I had to reboot the phone as soon as Windows 6.1 comes press "Start"--> "Settings" --> then "Voice Speed Dial" and set up voice tags.
Couple of questions?
1) In the older systems - we could add voice tags in the Contact information - Diamond 2 does not seems to have the Voice Tag addition feature? Is this true or am I missing something?
2) Is there an easy way to get to the Windows 6.1 Start menu other than on catching it when rebooting?
Any advise or further clarification would be very much appreciated...
Thanks in advance
Brenda Sheldon

"Dont forget assign Button 1 to voice speed dial.."
Can anyone assist? Thanks
Go to settings, all settings, Personal, Buttons and change Assign a program to 'Voice Speed Dial'
Anyway does not work on HD2
I've done all as written in this tread, but as for me it is still impossible to initiate a call by BTHS. As if some parts of BT management profile are missed it first HD2 firmware. Cyberon works properly (initiation by1st button) but can't be managed from BT. Any ideas?
I have the same problem with Cyberon Voice Commander.
I think it may be to do with the headset as some people say it works for them.
I have a Jabra 5020 if that helps.

Hello,
When activated the Cyberon VSD from BT headset button,
The voicetag is received by HD2 microphone instead of BT headset and
The voicetag confirmation is routed to HD2 speaker, not to BT headset.
So I can not use HD2 when on motocycle. But it was OK with TyTN II.
Can you please help, give some tricks?
Thanks...

Not currently running mobile shell but it shouldn't matter. One does not conflict with the other.
Somewhere i aw this response:
"Those of you with a HD2 or a TP2, keep in mind that those phones use a Widcomm BT stack instead of the usual MS Stack... The idiots at HTC have decided to change this on their new phones.... MANY people have complained of issues. You can activate the program using your BT headset, but all sounds and commands from this application will come from the speaker on the phone. Phone calls dialled in or out will still be connected through the headset but you won't get caller ID.
I think HTC made a huge mistake changing to the Widcomm stack. Many users have said that although the Widcomm stack has a prettier interface and is generally more stable, it is not as advanced as the MS stack and therefore won't play nice with many applications and equipment (car kits, etc). The MS stack is still considered the standard and more apps are written using that as the assumed base/stack. This is also not something that is easily cooked into a custom ROM. You can't simply change the stack... its too tightly integrated and quite difficult to just change. The only possibility is if HTC releases a base ROM for cooks to play with that may have updated Widcomm stack which by some chance will work with MSVC.
Also, on the Handango site, it shows that MSVC was updated late Nov! I think I read somewhere that MS was updating it slightly to allow it to work with the HD2 or TP2... I could be wrong. Anyone out there has a copy we could try? I have no idea what the version number is although it should still be 1.6.xxxxx "
What does this mean ?

New TomTom tt7.918.9193 for HD2

New tomtom released which is supposed to support the HD2 including using tomtom home. Version is tt7.918.9193
Link Here
As you still need to buy the maps I have provided the link to the application as it is uselss without them.
Found this on my travels and seems to work ok.
UPDATE:
I have taken the original zip from tomtom and removed the unpatched tomtom navigator.exe and data.chk and replaced them with the ones in the previous link. This is a cab file so should be easier to install.
I have not tested this so feed back appreciated but as always ensure you have a full backup. there are no BT files in this also. This is only for the HD2.
Link Here
For people still having issues with tomtom home NOT working, see post #33 below.
Thanks Zomig. Right here I go off to buy TT Maps....
Any significant differences in this version? Any Traffic updates?

Does it have the BT files removed?
Regards.
maybe it's better to mirror it outside rapidshare (it sucks)
I was using v7.916 and I just installed this one.
Really no difference at all. Its exactly the same.
Maybe there is an option I cant see?
You only have to replace the files in your tom tom directory. No further activation is needed.

It's 2 files you need to replace, so you begin with installing a version containing the BT files.
it's always the same with these releases, they usually just fix issues with not working with certain devices. Also i believe this is a wvga version although I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

You will need to get the maps reactivated through Tomtom as these will be tied to your v1 device. Also they may not work due to differences with PNA and PDA Type maps. Check with tomtom if in doubt.
I really hate rapidshare. It never works.
If you can, can you please post the file somewhere else.

Nope! In the HD2 if you install T*T* "as is" you'll screw-up your BT functions, plus endless BT error messages, etc., it's all over the GPS forums.
In other releases people removed the BT files from the .cab, so your worries are over (as far as interference among different BT stacks)
I wouldn't dare to start all over again if the BT files are NOT removed from this cab.
Can anyone confirm?
Regards.

G-Profile HD2 Battery Issues
It seems that there are quite a few people happily using G-Profile on HD2. I tried it for a few days, but the battery drained 3-4 times faster than without it (proven by BattLog). Otherwise I liked it very much, I find it better (hadn't it been for the battery issue) than PhoneSuite which I think it's not that straightforward to use with the Sense UI. Could you tell me if you experienced similar battery issues with G-Profile, please?
Cheers.
I couldn't get g-profile to work properly on mine but I'm testing out phonealarm at the moment and although I'm having a few teething problems it's mostly doing what I want.
Does seem to be affecting my battery though unfortunately, and there seems to be an annoying bug where it changes the phone to silent but still shows the 'full volume' speaker icon in the taskbar, making me think it has not switched profiles.
