Hi there,
i cant upgrade my phone. i get an error 264.
i even hardresetted the phone and tryed.
when i start the "hardspl.bat" my mobile wants to run a jumper file. but when i press yes the screen turns white the connection brakes and i cant upgrade too.
and when i dont press yes and do nothing the updater starts but its stock at 0% and after some time i get the error o0
what have i done wrong ?

same thing happens here, my usb connection losts while whitescreen loaded, i will try with another computer tomorrow...
by the way bootloader way doenst work, i have tryed several times, several roms, it has just come back from service due to speaker problem...

so i can get into the 3 colored screen if i dont press yes when i am asked if i want so start the jumperspl. if i dont press anything the screen gets into 3 colors. but i get an error on the PC and i can do anything. but it seems that the usb connection is still running.

I have d same error in win XP and Vista.
Try use win 2000.
I solved my using win2000.
its just not working! i copied the jumperfiles, i plugged the phrophet i run the spl i plugged the propeht in again and when i run the update thing i get an error.
it is me again
it has done today, i hav triyed again with my old notebook at work today and it's succeded, it think my home computer's mainboard have a sumething like usb connection problem.
I will try later with rear USB ports
i tryed it on a nother maschine and its not working. same error. and i 100% did whats described in the threats! every available method

not about PCs, read again my thread ... is that you have a G4 device?

okay i think i found the error ... i had windows runnin on my mac with a virtuall mashine and it wasnt able to connect virtual windows with the bootloader.
but i got an other error now. if i run hardspl, i everything seems to run find. but its still the old 2.15 hard spl on the prophet even if its supposed to be a 2.20.
do i have to crack some kind of romlock befor? (its a german o2 XDA)
oh okay do i have to unlock the CID? i searched the prophet forum but didnt find anything specific.

i had the same error and i tried just the same one more time, so romupdateutility.exe and it worked!!

when i do clear storage in running windows my universal will shut down after asquin for a pass 1234,he is not workin anymore!i cant connect them to activesync to do upgrade because just the red light goes on and nothing else is working

ok i have resolved the problem with reinstalling the bootloader
I bought phone in non working condition; it had a loading problems. Tried hard resest but it didn't helped. So I downloaded ROM upgrade from Tmobile website and when I run the program it stucks at 8%. When I turn the phone on it shows triangle with msg 'software update failed' and when I connect it to pc it does not sync with windows mobile device manager. How can I fix this problem? Is there any way how to make complete restore?

When I connect my nexus S to the computer (i have tried 3 different computer' different USB cabels and i even tried with my father's nexus s)
the usb connection screen in the phone pup up just for a second and than dissapear, and the computer sais that it donwt recognaise the divice.
when i first tried to connect I had a older version of cynogenMod 4.0.4, and when i saw that its not working i did a factory reset and wiped the system. now im updated to the newest cynogenMod nightbuild.
one time i enterd my divice to ricovery mode and i connected it to the computer' then i turned it on and it worked. but it happened only one time. ive tried to cange batteries, cabels, update the drivers in the computer' but nothing works!
I have the divice almust a year' but its not working only in the last month.
I've searched a lot for a result to this problem and i dident get to fix it!
someone knows what i can do?

I can't get it to mount to the computer either. Hard to install a new ROM if I can't get it to boot or mount. Let me know if you find a solution.

Hi everyone,
Today ive tried to flash my htc Qtek1010 with the lumpistefans cooked rom ,but I failed cause of an error with the com port (no connection cause of this fu**ing win8 )However ive took an old xp laptop tried to save it ,but i couldnt get any conection through active sync ,but maybe i could do it via "HTC sync usb" but idk how? Whatever it still stucks on the not filled progress bar.
The laptop has installed a driver which teoratical allows me access to the device but idk how to use it :/ maybe thorugh Mtty but what i should do?

Im an idiot i thought bootloader was broke so i havent tried [power]+[soft reset]

And remember dontflash in Windows 8
