MS Voice Command Handsfree - General Topics

Hi !
I'm trying the demo version of MS Voice Command, and I would like to know if there is a command to start a call in handsfree mode :
Ex : CALL JOHN SMITH AT HOME HANDSFREE
or something like that.
It can be usefull to do so when giving a call when driving : only one button (activate MS VC).

How to make a voice Dial via BT Headset ? Program ? Registry ?
Don't expect a solution any time soon!

XDAII + Bluetooth headset + MS Voice Command ???

I've not got my XDAII yet.....but curious to know whether this setup works, i.e. XDAII installed with MS Voice Command and wearing the Bluetooth headset - do the voice commands work ok through the headset down to the XDAII or do the commands have to be spoken to the XDAII directly ? Also, is it necessary to have to push a button on the XDAII before you speak to it - or does it listen all the time ?
Thanks for your help,
Nutz
Voice Command doesn't work with a Bluetooth headset.
You need to press a button on the XDA2 to invoke VC and make it accept a command. This must be because it's so sophisticated that if it listened all the time, it would a) run your battery down, and b) hear commands that you didn't intend.
but even....
so, there is no way to make my XDA II work as my old SonyEricsson T610 (on SE T610 - when I perss button on headset and say voice command into it and than it repeats me that command for check and running it...) - no way to achieve even half of this on XDA II ?
( )
I understand it can be done using the supplied wired headphone, but no, not with bt headset. Too bad!
is this the same as voice dialing ?
my bluetooth headset manual says to press the button and speak the command to dial the contact
this is a Sony-Erricsson HBH-35
surely some software somewhere for the XDAII would support this ?

voice command for Voice Command :))

Is there a way to start Microsoft Voice Command with a voice command?
I don't like to press a butten to do a command.
Maybe a workaround with another app?
Thx!
but then the other app would to include all the same voice recognition as voice command does
it would be about as big as voice commander and use as much memory
and use cpu because it would have to listen for the special start voice command command
i know what you mean, the old ms voice for win98 already had the option to say "computer", folowed by a "ding!" from the computer to acknowledge that the computer is ready for a command. (bit like startrek)
does anybody know if it is also posible to start voicecommands with the button on the headset? thisway it would be an exelent remote for media player when you have your phone in your pocket.

Voice dial software

Hi I have an Alpine running 2003 se, with Fonix voice installed. I am not getting on very well with this software, what I would really would like is something like the software in my Razor V3, it gives me the ability press the button on my Blue tooth headset to voice dial a number, and when an incoming call is received it says the name in the bluetooth headest before ringing. Is there any software available that could do that with the Alpine ?
Microsoft Voice Command does this, and you can buy it on www.handango.com but check to see if it works on WM2003 as I'm not sure off the top of my head.
Hi unfortunately Voice Command only works with WM5
Maybe someone knows of another software that will do the job....
older versions of voice commander works on 2003

Way to make or emulate a "dead air" call via bluetooth?

Does anyone have any idea software or otherwise to make Android to do this...
- Intercept an outgoing bluetooth phone call (IE someone dialed "*123" over bluetooth)
- Keep the BT audio channel OPEN, but do NOT dial the call
- Run Google Voice Search and direct audio input / output to that instead
The reason is I am trying to figure out a way to have my Android phone controllable via voice from my car kit (Chrysler UConnect), which is being "too smart" and has no idea to simply send a Bluetooth "action button" to Android. My idea is if I can write a little app that does the above, then I can simply save this "magic number" to my contacts and have it voice dialed
