Im a newcomer in PocketPC world.
Last week i just bought O2 - Xda Mini with German Language.
Since i knew there are many more software for it in English than in German, I Prefer the English version one.
Im getting frustated to change the Windows Mobile 2003 SE language from German into English in my XDA Mini. :roll:
:?: Does anyone know how to chage the language savely ??? :?:

The only way I think you can do it is to download one of the WWE roms from the XDA developers ftp site. This will mean you will ave to do a hard reset so backup everything beforehand. Read the sticky up the top of this forum.

I bought The O2 XDA Mini a week ago , a friend bought him in germany and gave him to me. im From Israel so German for me is a bad story.
can some one help me how im changing the rom from German into English or Even Russian!, i prefer the russian one.
PS: i want to save the O2 Interface.

Just get the 1.13WWE rom in BS or shipped format from the ftp & get the according instructions from other threads. It has been posted probably over a 1000 times.

the only way is to find and install a english rom on the device
you can look on the ftp
and in wiki as to how and where
Hi... I just got a O2 Mini S XDA... in German but don't worry I am *almost* not going to ask always the same question about the English ROM... although I am afraid at the end I'll have to ;P
I do not mind having the OS in german, but it is pretty bothering having the german dictionary because I most frequently write in english. Is there a way to change just the dictionary?

Long time reader but first time poster. Thank you all for the wonderful forum and resources. You all rock!
I am in a bit of a pickle regarding my company provided mobile phone. They gave me a Danish OS Windows Mobile 6.1 installed HTC Touch HD. I sent it back for exchange for a English OS. I have been waiting for the past 4 weeks to receive an English OS unit and my patience is running thin.
I am thinking of getting back the Danish OS HTC Touch HD. Am I correct in assuming that running the WWE SoftSPL for the Blackstone will solve my language problem without voiding the manufacturer's warranty?
Please advice.

there are english roms in the Blackstone section.. you can always flash one for your convenience.
