i upgraded the rom on my jam and i am now having problems with gprs. does anyone have a copy of the 1.06 rom for US 850 jams? thanks

This is my first post (newbie), I've just got a new Qtek S100 on 02 UK contract, I'm having problems getting TomTom5 to work with BT-77 Gps receiver, :? I think it may have something to do with the Rom version, my current Rom details are:
Rom Ver 1.06.00 WWE
Rom Date 01/06/05
Radio Ver 1.05.00
Protocol 1337.39
Ext Rom 1.06.115 WWE
I've been looking around the forums and getting a bit confused as to which Rom Ver I should upgrade to, would I be correct in assuming I should use the WWE_11100_129_111000.exe?
Any help from the experts much appreciated.
Also would the "SD card ROM backup/update method" be the best way to carry out the upgrade or are there any other methods? :roll:

I found the download link for the UK 1.12.00, all OK now Bluetooth working a treat, straight forward upgrade about 20 mins all done.
And where is this link to the 1.12?
Do you have the GPRS problems with this ROM?

Buymobilephones.net is where I got my S100 from and I installed this ROM about 3 weeks ago.
This is the one that is being talked about in the other posts with having the GPRS connection problems. Managed to get mine working yesterday by following the instructions in the other posts. I understand 1.12 fixes a lot of BT problems and also the reception is better so I didn't want to go backwards instead try and find a solution to the GPRS problems.

I purchased unlocked i-mate jam in us which has 900/1800/1900 Mhz bands ,how can I convert it to 850/1800/1900 Mhz ?

What about the statements from users who flashed their Magicians and lost their 850MHz ability? They used the bootloader flash method... dunno whether that made the difference.
I have been reading and reading to understand if I can do this or not but on every thread there are people that says its doable and some says that its not.
Does anybody have a final say onthis? I need to do this to switch to 850mHz from 900mHz on my magician.

Well... why don't you save your current radio ROM (see here) and just flash one of europe ROMs available (see here). Then don't forget to check back here and report!

I have looked at those pages many times trying to make sense out of it but it looks like there are some background information that I am missing. It just sounds all french to me. and I don't want to go try something that will screw up my phone without fully understanding what I am doing. Is there a source you suggest for me to read.
Also wouldn't l need a US radio because I want 850mHz not 900mHz. I don't see a US radio there. Am I missing something?

I got two 750 Treo's. One just this week, and it has HSDPA already supported. I want to extract this ROM/Firmware and flash it to my other Treo 750 that does not have this firmware/ROM version (I got it from the USA) but they are both the same models so I want to copy the ROM to the other Treo I have

My Radio ROM is DEAD ( No GSM at startup but normal and ext roms are working).
I've got a i-mate Jam with original ITA ROM, when I tried to update with a new ORIGINAL i-mate one it messed up and now radio doesn't work.
Have you got any solution?

i have same problem
Try to update the radio to 1.13 , and then use 2.03 tx or 1.13 Roms. Links are on this foruns just search. If that on radio dont work, try to update to a older one.
