I got two 750 Treo's. One just this week, and it has HSDPA already supported. I want to extract this ROM/Firmware and flash it to my other Treo 750 that does not have this firmware/ROM version (I got it from the USA) but they are both the same models so I want to copy the ROM to the other Treo I have
Can someone instruct me?

I've only had my MDA Compact a week & decided to do a ROM upgrade.. Stupidly I didn't back up my existing rom... I chose what was the latest ROM listed on the Shipped ROMs section of the site, which is a Telstra image. I've now got a Telstra Magician, but really want to got back to my T-Mobile setup... Can anyone help? I'd be really grateful to anyone who can help me...
i posted the same question with still no replies, I tried to do the same, by copying the first 416 bytes from my existing rom to the t-mobile 1.12.00 on using the bytecopy on this ftp under uploads/magician but to no avail. Seems the only thing that works are now the i-mate roms. UK_11200_131_11210_ship seems to be the best after the original as it comes with the t-mobile extended rom. hope this helps ftp://xda:[email protected]/Magician/

Universal is the product code of HTC, Dopod 900 is a brand use by Dopod. They are the same.
Please make an effort to read a little more before asking.
The HTC Universal is equivalent to:
O2 Xda Exec
Dopod 900
I-Mate JasJar

Orange SPV M5000
Vodafone v1640

sorry to trouble ya all again, I do read the posts but sometimes I guess my understanding of it all is not quite up there yet
Anyway, I have KPN's Qtek 9000 ROM. version is: UNI_QTEK_WWE_13077_130176_10900_WWE_Ship.exe
If I flash this ROM to my O2 Exec (ROM Version is 2.50.00 WWE) and Radio is (1.09.00), would it be any issues with it ?

there wont be issues as long as you do it right. You need to extract the nbf files, put them along with ROMUpgradeUt.exe file (search the forums for it), put your device to bootloader mode and then run the exe to flash your device. Look around the universal wiki for more info!

Thanks for the info guys, I managed to get the ROM upgrade. But I guess I screwed during the process. I unlocked the Extended ROM and did hardreset after the ROM upgrade. But I guess I lost the original extended ROM, but I couldn't flash the Qtek's Extended ROM now. It's keep giving me the country error ID even though I used the NOID updating tool.
Any steps to follow guys?

I did the upgrade to WM6 because i thoght it will fix a bug i have on my Treo 750 device, it didn't fix it, so i have to send it to palm to get it fix, but i don't want them to have an excuse that it is my fault and it's because the upgrade etc.
so please help me to get my device back to the original Cingular ROM, where can i find the file???

Which Rom are you referring to? Is it the update verizon put out
upgraded WM5 to WM6? Or the original rom that came preloaded with
the treo?
Also, do you have 700w or 700wx?

The 680 is a different beast from the 750, so you'd need to ask elsewhere. I have a 680, but I don't know where you'd get an upgrade from, sorry.
