I don't think the Atom is released yet to the general public. I've read it should be available mid December...can't wait to hear how it performs.

FYI, atom is released in singapore today. I am expecting advertisements to be out in full force tomorrow. So much for the hyped-up limited sets released. Just in case anyone is interested, the price is SGD$1348 retail.
It is out in HK now and I saw Expansys has already posted it on the official website. But it sells RMB 6240, which is equivlent to USD 780 per unit. It is wayyyyyy expansive. Does anyone know where can I get it with much cheaper price? Chinese version will be a plus.

That's interesting. They're a bit late to the UK market with it. T-Mobile and Orange have had the device available for months.

There's no reason for that to be the case as the device has now been available for ages on other networks. It's not like it's a completely new one where this does indeed happen a lot.

I've seen that the Diamond will be available via Expansys and other sites mid June (I can mail order from where I am in Switzerland; probably for end June delivery if lucky). However, I'm on business in Singapore first week of June (1-6). Are there any forum members based in Singapore that know if the phones will be available already during that week (and perhaps, where so I can go along and buy)?

I know this a convered version and I'm not going to buy it I would just like to know if this might be a valid "source" that the phone is somehow near worldwide launch as well. Just trying to grab any available hint. Is Aliexpress a trusted shop that might really sell these phones or could that be something like Ebay scam?
