i tried to upgrade my xda2i with the upgrade tool 1.60b, but everytime it says that i need to download the correct rom in my ppc. can anyone help me out here?

how long is it going to take to get this page updated?

guys am waiting eagerly to update my xda2i to windows mobile 2005, magneto. am looking at my friends, with other devices updating to this os, but am lagging behind.
is there any rom for my xda2i to get it updated to wm2005 please???????

Sorry but there is no WM2005 for the XDAIIi. It has completely different hardware. At the moment there is a rom upgrade to WM2005 for the himalaya (XDAII) and the blue angel (XDAIIs) only. Both can be found on Buzz Lightyear's development web site www.buzzdev.net.

I hope xda2jojo and the rest of the guys can make an executable file to upgrade the Himalaya to WM2005, like the one they did for the WM2003SE upgrade. This would help the inexperienced people like me in upgrading a Himalaya. thank you very much!

i want to say that there is a man in syria who is Specialist in PDA
he said he is able to install WIN 5.0 to any jam and he ill give you a Guarantee for it but he request 50$ for that what do you think

Maybe he's a real good "master"in wm, and can istall wm5, but remember, his rom couldn't be be good for your Magician... Other solution, you can buy cd with eten m500 upgrade for 50 Euro. This CD contains ActivSync 4.1, upgrade from wm2003se to wm2005, and other things that you need to syncronize your MDA.

so from where can i buy this CD , and for sure there is WIN5.0 for jam
or what why all of the people are saying there is no WIN5.0 for JAM
i talked with I-MATe's support staff and they told me to wait for the time being

I would bet he is a crook. If there is of any way that he is able to run WM5 on Magician, you would have heard it in the best forum of all.. HERE! Of all the experts here agree there isn't an chance of getting WM5 running on Magician, I won't bet $50 on it.
Anyway, as for the Eten version, it won't work on Magician too. I mean, there are tons of WM2K to WM5 upgrades for other units, and if the modifications were to be so simple, I bet these people would have modify it for Magician.

i called with a german firm to ask how does a upgrade from 64 to 128 Mb costs also the question if it is possible run wm2005 after this upgrade they said to me that there is a posibilty, but it runs very very very slow
so in the i didn't made this upgrade but also wm2005 is not fully developed so let's see what comes

I have an XDA2i from O2 but which of the above is it? they both say they are sold as the XDA2i !!!
The Alpine can not be update to WM5 but the Andes can but which do I have, how can I tell?

Chances of O2 zinc getting WM6

hey all just wondering what are the chances of wm6 roms being made for the O2 zinc? i know is stupid to ask but was wondering as if it's likely would probably purchase if not might hold out for the kaiser i think its called.

Zinc is dead, long live the Trion, which will have WM5.
There is no chance of the Zinc coming back in a WM6 form.
