App needed to sync Outlook with ActiveSync via mail2web account

I have searched for this in the last 2 hours and still cannot find a solution
this is my setup:
I sync my HTC Diamond to my Work and Home PC's via ActiveSync. I have also synced my phone to my mail2web account.
I now want to sync my Outlook Express on both PC's to my mail2web account so that any changes I make to Contacts, Calendar or Notes will be automatically synced no matter where I am. (not interested in syncing emails as I have a mailboxes setup on my phone which im fine with).
I have looked at various things like synchronica, funambol, etc. I have tried adding the mail2web account to my Outlook but it does not work. Can anyone help me regarding this?
thanks
A bit late and I'm quite sure you already found out out to enable multiple PC synchronisation and one exchange sync.

Cloud mobile sync ?

Hi,
Like lots of people, I synchronize my PPC with Outlook on my computer currently (I don't have exchange, I am privat person only).
But has serious limitations:
1/ I would like to be able to edit my calendar events on any PC via Internet and have the calendar event being updated on my PPC
2/ When I use my web site email account, I would like to have my contact list being in sync with my PPC so that I have all the email address of my contacts up to date.
How have you solved this problems?
I have heard about cloud mobile sync, it looks interesting. I have seen MyPhone, Funambol, Dashwire, ... looks nice but will it solve the point 2/ ?
I am ready to change my email provider
Otherwise I have seen Google Sync for Windows Mobile, it does seem to solve 2/.
Have you already used it ?
When using Google Sync, do you still sync with MS Outlook ? If yes, how ?
Regards, Chris

[Q] Sync Outlook with Android

Hi,
Apologies if Im posting in the wrong section or asking something that's been answered before.
I'm new to the Android scene with an Orange San Francisco (ZTE Blade) and I want to sync contacts, calenders and notes stored in Outlook 2003 by connecting to my PC via USB. What tools are there out there that works like Active Sync?
Thanks.
Sync Outlook with Android
yes i was looking for that to...someone?
Thks
i think the best you can hope for is to export your contacts from outlook, and import them into your gmail account.
you can use google calender sync (search google) this will sync your outlook calender and gmail calender.
I'm not familiar with that phone, but it comes with 2.1 right? You can use the 'email' app to sync up with your exchange server. I don't think it will sync notes, but it can sync up contacts, email, and appointments.
You could also try touchdown from the market. http://www.appbrain.com/app/exchange-for-android-2-x/com.nitrodesk.droid20.nitroid
It costs $20 after the trial, but works really well and will sync up everything you're looking for.
Thanks for the replies so far.
I don't want to sync with gmail, as sometimes I work offline, therefore need sync directly with Outlook. Also don't use Exchange, this is standard alone Outlook.
I've read HTC have a similar tool (HTC Sync ?) for Active Sync. Will this work on a San Francisco, which runs Android 2.1?
You need to downoal the program MyPhoneExplorer and connect your phone to USB, then follow the instuctions. To my mind this is the best free soft avaliable out there.

Contacts and Calendar gone out of sync problem

Hi genius people of XDA world!
I use to sync my WM6.5 with Outlook 2007 through Active Sync and XP.
One day after a sync session, HTC Calendar stopped showing birthdays stored in HTC Contacts, and also Outlook 2007 Calendar has no track of them, but Contacts app still have retained all birthday informations.
How can i re-sync (Outlook and/or HTC) Calendar forcing it to track my Contacts birthdays?
I've googled and only found this link http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/commandlineswitches.htm and triedthe /cleanreminders option but did nothing...
Thank for help

[Q] Google or Live for Outlook sync

Now that I have google calendar and contacts syncing with outlook via companion link - I saw an option on one of the accounts for syncing with hotmail. I haven't used hotmail for syncing with outlook calendars or contacts, only for email in the past.
Seems like android should be more friendly with the droid since it's a google product (long standing bugs unresolved, like DST problems with the free google cal sync), but wasn't sure if anyone here was using hotmail / live instead to sync calendars and contacts with outlook? I have 90 days to return the companion link software but thought I would check here before laying down the $50.
I think I'm confused on something...
I use both Gmail and hotmail's exchange settings on my mobile and calendars and contacts sync perfectly. The same should apply to outlook without a third party application, I think

Click to collapse
Sorry, I should have been more clear. I don't have an exchange server, I am using pop mail and a local outlook pst database file for my calendar. Sounds like you are on exchange and that's a different animal... but I think the outlook connector might act as an exchange server for windows live/hotmail/outlook syncing.
Ah OK. Could you connect to hotmail's exchange server? m.Hotmail.com
Should be able to sync that way

Oh, now that's funny.... outlook connector does not sync outlook calendars to the windows live one, you have to open the windows live calendar in outlook to modify it. Yet the google program does sync the data within the native outlook calendar... go figure. I can't figure why they all messed with things like active sync that just directly synced your device to your outlook database on your local computer and thought it would be so splendidly awesome to go cloud. Yipee.
