I HAVE PURCHASED 1GIG SD CARD MAKE NCP FOR MY XDA 2I THERE IS NO PROBLEM IN COPYING OR PLAYING FILES THE ONLY PROBLEM MY DEVICE HANGS IN STANDBYE POSITION CAN ANYONE HELP TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM

I have a problem with tomtom now, i used to have a 256mb sd card in my xda2 on wm2005 ver 2.03 and all the tomtom files installed on sd card so no probloms
now i copied all the files to new 2GB sd card and inserted that card in my xda now the problem starts, tomtom starts itself atleast twicw a day and drain the battry if i don't close it so i have to keep an eye on xda all the time.
so can anyone suggest why this is happining help plz

I think i found the solution but not sure
i have deleted the folder storagecard2 in windows/autostart/
i am gona see today if it starts again then let u all know

This is my first (but won't be my last i'm sure) post on this forum so take it easy on me please!
Recently bought a 2GB SD memory card for the above phone however upon trying to download music onto it it says there is no card present? I assume the card is simply inserted into the slot and it should automatically be recognised by the phone or is there something else that needs to be carried out before it is recognised?
I have formatted the card.
Do you think I have I bought a faulty card.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have a HTC touch pro 2 (tmobile) and the Micro SD disappears from file explorer every time the device powers off (standby) and I turn it on again. This is solved by reinserting the SD card (Sandisk SD HC 8 GB Class 6) or soft resetting but these are temporary solutions. I have searched allll of the internets and have found no working solution. Things tried so far:
change reg values
[HKLM\System\StorageManager]“PNPUnloadDelay“=dword:8196
[HKLM\System\StorageManager]“PNPWaitIODelay“=dword:8196
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\SDCARD\ClientDrivers\Class\SDMemory_Class]

Soft Resetted
Formatted card to FAT 32 (64 kb) still no luck
I am really desperate to solve this issuse because reinserting sd card requires me taking off my case. Please, please please help me. I have tried everything. The SD card works when I plug into PC, just when I put it into my TP2 it plays up If you need any aditional info please dont hesitate

i got this kingston class 4 32gig micro sd card..
and when im using it on the phone it sometimes says sd card is not mounted when it is inside..
and i cant sync my songs either.. because it keeps dissconnectinng
is it a fix for this?
You must connect to computer with win7 or vista and skan card with fix errors. Windows should ask about this. This is fast & simple

hello guys,I have 8gb Kingston HC Class 4 micro sd and it worked grat untill few days ago.It just stopped working,phone can't recognize it,can't mount it(Xperia J),and when I insert it in card reader my win8.1 just crashes with BSOD..It said that my pc ran into a problem,and sometimes it said something like unable to write on read only memory.Any solutions ?Please help if you can.

First of all you have to determine whether its the card that has the problem or your phone's software.
Try using a different SD Card on the Xperia J and see if it will work if it does then it is most likely the problem of the SD Card you bought
If the other SD Card you try inserting still doesn't work, try downgrading to ICS and see if it works there if it does its most likely a Software Issue so I suggest you try another Rom.
May I also suggest upgrading to a Class 10 SD Card definitely improves performance because of faster read/write speeds.
I have some old 2gb microsd and it works very fine,with my phone and with my pc,my win8.1 works perfect untill I insert microsd
