Someone has sent me a picture message on my XDA2i on Vodafone but it wont let me download the picture, it just says that I have no modem present etc etc etc, can anyone help? Thank you
Nope ! And Vodafone couldn't sort it for me either although it's a couple of months ago when I was in to their ribs about it !

Try this one. It´s a WMP Ipod Plugin and 3 configuration cabs for Portuguese operators. one of them is for Portuguese VODAFONE, and after installing you can edit the configurations and adapt to Vodafone England. Hope it helps.

Not sure how helpful this is, but to get MMS working over Orange, there was a forum somewhere which had listed a CAB file to put in your device, and when you run it, EVERYTHING to do with data just worked - MMS, GPRS Internet etc...
I think there may have been something similar for your provider.

after installing it the MDAc wasn´t able to display anything.

Still can't receive MMS with Vodafone. I got ROM _Imate_ITA on Qtek S100. Anyone still have this problem? How to solve it? It seems that old jam Vodafone patch doesn't work with this ROM.
Try this. It configures for the 3 Portuguese operators and give you a IPOD Media Player Skin also.

I have the same problem with Vodafone Malta as well. Actually, I have never managed to make MMS work on any of the ROMS. Any ideas?

A few weeks ago I downloaded a small brilliant and useful programme off the net for my XDA2s used for discovering wifi sites in different towns.
I was able to tap in the town In the UK and it would come back and tell me the local sites available (not neccessaraly to connect me) .It appeared many of the towns in the UK were covered.
For the life of me I cannot remember the name of the software and I inadvertantly discarded it....but now wanting to put it back on my XDA2s.
Can any of you knowledgeable guys help me out with the name of the pprogramme I wonder ?...........and of course where I download from ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I am have upgraded my imate SP5m device to WM6.
I have also upgrade the radio to WM6GSMUPDATE.zip.
My country is Costa Rica (code +506).
I think there is a bug in the GSM radio or WM6.
All my contacts have the +506 prefix in their number, when somebody with number +506XXXXXXX call me the phone detects the phone number as XXXXXXX and then the contact information cannot be found.
Is there something that I can tweak to fix this?
I didn't have this problem on WM5.

Ocalvo, I'm in Costa Rica too, I sell and distribute HTC in CR. I have several customers that have the exact same problem, some of them have the +506 so when they are out of the country they can use international roaming or a sim from another carrier. People in other countries are also suffering from this, but if they never travel internationally, probably they won't even notice.
I haven't been able to fix the problem for months, been posting on every forum I can find, still no results.
Here is what I can contribute, the problem never happens on WM5, but it is not always present on WM6. We have a couple of models that have WM6 and dont have this problem, like the P3600 and the S630.
Our best selling phone has this problem and we haven't been able to solve it. All SMS come with the +506 attached to the beginning so it does not ID any messages, same happens with calls.
I have even flashed a P4350 that worked fine with WM5 and does not work with WM6, but I have an HTC S630 with WM6 that works perfectly. Barajeme eso!!!!
Well, I will continue to research this problem...

HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone\CallIDMatch and
hklm\security\phone\PBLookupMinPhoneNumberLength
change the value from 8 to 7 for Costa Rica
See, we have seven numbers to match before the International dailing code.
That will solve the problem, if you have any questions call me at the # that you have in your PM.

Eveybody sees, you Masters make a lot of great ROMs for Kaiser, i really wants to use them,but i can't ....
Because i really need my Kaiser to display chinese, such as in Contact or some dictionary programmes.
So if anyone can teach me how too add a chinese support to the roms, it will be very thanksful!

You could also try Cestar... you can download it from mobem (.com I think) as a trial, but even when the trial expires I hear tell it still allows you to read Chinese...
i'm using att tilt (kaiser) there is one software names. Ce-star, if u can not display chinese word,u can try to get that.
I used a cab before in WM5 but that hangs on WM6. I used this method for WM6 with no issues. Note: I added read-only support but not input.
