After updating my german MDA Compact with the WWE from iMate i lost my MMS capability.
The composer works but all settings are effectless.
I talked already to T-Mobile but its not working.
Please help me outta that s***.

Not sure how helpful this is, but to get MMS working over Orange, there was a forum somewhere which had listed a CAB file to put in your device, and when you run it, EVERYTHING to do with data just worked - MMS, GPRS Internet etc...
I think there may have been something similar for your provider.

Testing some of .cab files for MDA3
i just installed some of .cab files from MDA 3 to my XDA 2, and have had information some program like this (German Language) :
my ext. rom changed to 1.06.115 GER.
ClearVue PDF/Presentation ver. 2.4.381a.
Album ver. 2.51 (erstellt 16894).
Caller ID (Anrufer ID) ver. 1.17 (erstellt 16894).
Zip programs ver. 1.01 (erstellt 16295).
MMS Composer/Einstellungen ver. 2.0.0.13 (it is Inbox included)
Video MMS not running .
Splash screen, Themes, Pocket IE, GPRS setting, automatically changed to T-Mobile setting.
i have tried SMS, Phone, Connecting Internet (after setting manually to my provider) and running well, also ActiveSync via bluetooth to my PC is okay !!
that's all information i have !!!

guys, is there a way to just rip the bluetooth .cab fileand just install that on the XDA2? Further, has anyone tried this?

I've played all the weekend with bluetooth stack from QTEK9090 and headset profile. No luck in getting it working. But all other profiles work fine.

very new to this lark and I am looking for the Intellidialer for my phone as above.
i have searched this site and apparently need something called a CAB file to do this but have spent 2 days trying to find it with no luck.
ROM version is 1.06.02 (i think)
can anyone help me further poss with a direct link to it.
phone is really great (had an SPV C500 before) but this intellidialer is a serious lack of inclusion by orange.

Got there in the end !!!!!!!!
Downloaded it - works great. Just have to make sure you install it properly. Did a soft start on mine and was OK, did it on the boss's SPV and the unit decided to do a hard start instead on the soft one.
Boy was I popular.
Re-loaded everything and is working fine as well.

Still can't receive MMS with Vodafone. I got ROM _Imate_ITA on Qtek S100. Anyone still have this problem? How to solve it? It seems that old jam Vodafone patch doesn't work with this ROM.
Try this. It configures for the 3 Portuguese operators and give you a IPOD Media Player Skin also.

I have tried other WM6.1 ROM, but there was problem with EDGE/GPRS radio, it was not connecting to the internet. I hope this one will be working. I will come with comments soon!
Good job! The gprs radio is working good, the connection to the internet is now possible.
The look of this ROM is nice, also it has suitable programs, so I have to say after some time: upgrade it, if you can!

Just updated my g500 everything went pretty smooth and took only few minutes.. Phone works much much better and faster - that's really fantastic! GPRS, EDGE, BT OBEX and AD2P perform flawless, looks like this rom is really stable, thanks to adilyildiz and emilio666 for posting it here.
One question for those who also updated - do you have 3G network working fine?

It doesn't have Mode change option in Phone Setting and looks like 3G won't work. I spent half day trying to find registry hack but no luck. There is another ROM from Darex (www.myg500.pl) where 3G works and bands can be changed.
lineus: Thanks a lot. Now I'm running Polish version (0.38a I think) and I think it's a bit better that the other one.
Anyway, GPRS and MMS is not possible for me. I'm using Spanish YOIGO. Even Toshiba assistant doesn't send me any configuration now (firmware maybe?)

Just bought this Smartphone to replace my beloved Tornado (SP5), and sucessfully updated to WM6.1 with this ROM.
Everything seems to be working perfectly, but I will need some more time to test everything out.

Ok, after some hours of testing, I only found two problems with this WM6.1 ROM for the Toshiba G500:
-after running the integrated Windows Live Messenger for the first time, and activating the Home Screen tab, I noticed there are icons missing on this tab. Instead of those I'm getting a red cross picture.
-everytime I open a SMS, it appears slightly paged down, hiding the sent date and time information on top. I must press "Up" once to reveal this information.
Overall this seems a great ROM indeed, a must have for all G500 owners!

in my hand right now i have an o2 ExEc iv downloaded and update to WM6.1 and its nocked a thow things off like Video calling and the video calling butten iv tryed instelling all the o2 files and its nocked out the keybored so all i have is the screen working everthink works on WM5 but like i like to keep updated with the best software (orangle or coustom) has any one got an update for my phone what is WM6.1 and works with video calling an keybored thanks adam

As far as I know there is no wm6 or 6.1 with video call working onnly wm5
but please do a SEARCH and READ the Wiki.
