Hi,
I am using the dopod 1.11 CHT rom now, upgraded from the original ww3 1.03 o2 mini rom.
In the original version, i could set the buttons to execute the running programs application to quickly kill running processes, but with the upgrade, the ability to do this seem to be gone.
is this something that is only found in the o2 ext rom?
if so, can someone direct me to the files to install to get this ability back?

you find teh running programs at settings-memorythen running programs tab...
yes the running programs is at settings/memory
however in the original o2 mini rom, there was actually a link/program in the Programs folder that was called Running Programs, you can then assigned that to one of the buttons.
In both the 1.11 dopod CHT and qtek WWE roms, this has disappeared. I think that was an O2 customization which I am wondering how to add to my current setup.

I've searched the forums but there doesn't seem be any info on the contents of the XDAIIi ExtRom version 1.10.124WWE.
I've tried not letting the AutoRun install everything, but even when I install the cabs manually I'm left without a MMS account in Pocket Outlook.

It seems to me though that apart from O2 Active, that you can choose not to install, the only thingsyou really want to get rid of are the readers in CV2.41.386_wwe.CAB. Then again this stuff takes up >13M
Anyway anyone got any idea where the MMS (I suppose plugin) for Outlook is or what O2UK_removeACCEPT_12212004.CAB, and Delete_shortcut.sa.CAB.
Another thing is he wifi quickstart with O2 Acive turns wifi on and off, without O2 active it just opens up the status page, has anyone just extracted this bit of O2 active from the cabs ?

Hi all,
I have upgraded my O2 Mini to the T-Mobile 1.13 ROM as I really wanted the Blackberry software. I installed it and it worked a treat and was wrapped. I then wanted to the do the BIG Storage cos I really need the extra space. So I upgraded to radio 1.13 and then did the bid storage.
However, when I loaded the blackberry CAB file, it wouldn't work. I tried all the BB configuration options, but no luck. I then re loaded the T-Molibe 1.13 ROM, installed the BB software, and bingo, it was working again.
So I'm wondering if its the radio 1.13 upgrade or the big storage thats causing the problem?
Any ideas?

Probably BB needs some additional library from another CAB.
The same applies to Arcsoft MMS 2.5, installing that CAB alone will result in a not working application. You need CallerID installed also.
Yeah, I thought that may be the problem to esackbauer, but I did a hard reset with the T-Mobile ROM, and then soft reset it before all the CAB files were installed. I then just installed the BlackBerry CAB file, and it worked perfectly.

Why test your ROM when you're no longer having and developing it.
To me it;s a lot of work for a 3 month old ROM (outdated?), with hardly any background formation. So for me.....with all respect for your work......i'll stick to NBD9.1
i have it now on my mda vario and it works fine no problems but i hoped it was a dutch version but its uk/ENG?
anyone have dutch wm6 for me?

Why i dont longer cook rom for a wizard

you ask me why i dont longer make or adjust this rom.
i can think a couple of reasons.
1. i test this rom for 4 monts and tested it in the netherlands,germany and china.
and i had no problem.
2. last week i get a letter from the pone company that i can extend my contract and pick a new phone so i have know a Artemis (mda compact 3).
3. i gonna try to cooke a rom for that phone.
4. as i write in my post that i only wil do bug anhence ments so that if some one have problems that it can be solved.
Bug list solved over the last 5 monts.
Phone wil not connect to the network. (solved)
Wifi has now a/b/c and G networking. (solved)
First run wont start(get a blanck screen) (solved)
i have do a lot of time to make this rom work perfectly.

only what is changing is the text and some times it wil F**K your device.

how can i remove that extended ROM? the ROM it self is already very nice
extended rom SKIP
you can skip it.
just flash or hard reset your phone.
when you done that it wil load and it shows wait 3 sec.
when that shows do a soft reset.
WARNING!!!!: if you do that then XDA Radio Fix wil not be installed and you may experance problems with your gsm part of the phone.

Where are the pictures of this rom? I might be more willing to try it if I could see the interface... Then again, pictures don't always mean stability performance...
thanks for the rom, its working great the only thing i wish it had was the htc network wizard built in for easy network setup, otherwise battery life is good my wifi is working and problems i was having with internet explorer hanging and saying a script is causing problems is gone( was using nbd 8.3 last) i think i will keep this for a while.

i want to remind you if you need extra CPU power use battery status to overclock your cpu.

Install this rom on dutch device
I've a dutch Qtek 9100 smartphone (vodafone).
I can only install dutch roms on my device, when i try to install another rom i get error 300!
is there a way to install the rom?
yes u can
you can use shell tool hard reset your device and download shell tool.(u can find it on the forum)
then u extract my rom and put it in the shell tool map.
and run shell tool then u can upgrade your device (U MUST HARD RESET IF U HAVE DONE IT).
Is there any software which let me know which programs are installed in memory and which in storage and how much space they are occupied?

what version of wm are you using? i think wm 6.1 has the upgraded task manager that does what you're looking for., but don't know if that is a route you'd take. 6.1 is a decent feature upgrade anyhow.
edit:
i attached the new wm 6.1 taskmanager, see if it works for you.. just copy the exe to the device and run it.
I have 6.1 but I guess task manager only shows running programs not installed. Correct me if I am wrong.
OK Here is a problem that I am having... I have Hard reset my device at least 3 times and every time I still see the same problem.
I walk through installing many apps but I never see them in the Remove Programs in settings? How do I get them there. Many of the Tweaks say remove and reinstall... but I can not remove since it is not there.
I have not run into too many problems with this but I want to shoo the question out there and see if anyone else is having this issue and if I can resolve it before it becomes a problem.

You may wish to post information about the ROM currently on your device. For example:
- Stock ROM (Carrier) or cooked ROM
- Service (Carrier) Provider
- Version of SPL
- Exact model of device: TouchPRO, Fuze, etc.
This information will allow folks to shed some light on why your cabs may not appear in Remove Programs.
Off the top, the ROM you are using may have been configured to *not* display installed cabs in Remove Programs.

which programs have you installed that aren't showing up in the remove programs menu? I know a lot of the att programs dont show up (so you can't remove them once they've been installed).

When you connect to you PC using "AS" Go into the tools menu and click on add/remove programs. See if they pop up there.

nhshah7, well it is pretty much any applications I install from spb Minesweeper to the custum ones here (like no Curtains). After installing about 30 Cabs to make the phone look and feel the way I like I only have 4 items listed in my add remove programs.

I had the exact same problem. Seems like one or 2 programs that I've installed cause this to happen. I had to hard reset the phone like 2 3 times just to make them show. now I keep an eye on the add/remove program list after I installed a program.
And mine is HTC Fuze with AT&T Stock rom/radio.
