:x
I upgraded from my Original XDA in October 2003, Since then my new XDAII has been working fine..
Up Until a few days ago that was..
When the loudspeaker stopped working!
So I cannot hear the phone ring and I cannot hear anyone speaking :?
I Pay £5.99 for insurance that says it covers damage and also offers 'next day courier' replacement
After calling them 3 times (each averaged 30min to answer the phone)
it seems that unfortunatly they dont have any XDAII's to send as a replacement and they
DONT KNOW WHEN THEY WILL BE GETTING ANY EITHER..
Please try calling every so often to see if we get them back in again...
WTF ?
What am I paying £5.99 for each month?
I hope no one elses XDAII breaks..
Greg
if i was you i wouldnt stand for it and demand your insurance money back and all if they aint gonna get it sorted. its still under warrenty anyways so they should get it done ASAP for you. put them on watchdog lol
I blame HTC. It is beyond me how, after being out several months, they still can't manufacture a decent amout of them for stock. And that's without them being generally available in the North American market. If they were sold in the US/Canada too on a large scale, there would be just about zero of them available anywhere.
back in stock!
They're back in stock from today...
I have just spoken to UK O2 Insure ..
And they dont have ANY stock arriving until Monday 9th..
So I wont be getting mine until Tuesday at the earlist..

I shall be speaking to my O2 Memberservices to get a rebate on my insurance!!!!!!!

Hello, firstly i hold my head in shame by being one of those owners of a bit of kit that should have been given to my teenage son, but however i'm 34 years old and in somewhat of a pickle. Here's my dilema and if anyone can help i would be grateful for some light at the end of this....
Ok I have genuine O2 Xda Orbit 2 handset, just got the £20/month 12 month contract sim, internet works fine, voice calls fine alas no video calls, always says failed. O2 assure me that it's all tickey boo their end and it could be something to do with the previous owner messin with the handset settings, they seem relutant to support me with handset problems seeing as i'm just a contract sim 'council' customer. I did however get talked through some rom updates only to be told O2 don't support video calls on this phone. If anyone could suggest anything else other than a hammer or me reverting back to Asda pay as you go .......
Once again HELP!
yo ppl,
I have the HTC Desire Z, awesome phone, had it for about a month now, on o2 and from last night, my phone decided not to have network signal at all, it recognises that there is a sim card in there but no network is available on the phone.
Ive tried other isms in the phone and they dont work, the same sims i tried work on another phone that i have. Ive tried auto and manual network search but it says no network available on this sim??? somebody please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you installed anything or flashed the Phone?
nope never flashed the phone, didnt want to flash either, kept it how it was, its unlocked and any sim card i put into it, it says limited calls only
Maybe there is no money on it....
No, I do not know why you can't find a network.
But if you only have it about a month, it is still under warranty, right?
it has nothing to do with money, im on contract so money is no worry there, just that the phone says limited service, emergency calls only to any sim card i put in from now on

Just a joke...
Check in settings>Wireless and network>Mobile networks and check if the network mode is correct for your provider andtry manually selecting a network operator. If that doesnt work try shutting down your phone, removing the battery and restarting it.
its cool, i took it back to the shop wherei bought it, apparently, the woman that sold it to them, she was on contract and she didnt want to pay the contract, so she ended up selling the phone to them and now she' blocked the phone, her account is going to be cancelled and the police are going to visit her as it is a criminal offence haha ***** hope she dies now lol
have to wait about a week for a replacement phone so i guess all is good
thanks for your help anyway

That is... unexpected
Well its been awhile since I've posted on the forum so excuse me if I come across as rusty. Well I lost my device about a month ago at a get together wasn't sure specifically where till now. I was contacted yesterday about my lost device from a friend who said they found it in the car. I picked it up today and now I have two Note II's. I am currently on a T-mobile 2 Year contract and my device has their Premium Handset Protection. Around the time I lost the device I called up TMO and they said they will ship out a new device once I paid the deductible I was sent a new device. Now that I have found my phone I would like to know if they would reactivate the phone if the imei has not been blocked yet?. If the imei happens to have been blocked would they reinstate it?. and if so how long would this take or do I send the device back in and they ship a new one over?
Your answers would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.
