XDAII Bluetooth und Siemens Car Kit HKW-720 - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Accessories

Hi,
"Car kit bluetooth SIM is compatible with mobile phones which support SIM-ACCESS"
that's what Siemens states.
Does my XDAII with ROM-version 1.72.01GER support the SIM-ACCESS ?
If not, would it be possible to upgrade ?
Thanks in advance.

supported services detected
Hi,
I got the tip to check with a laptop using BT.
It works and the supported services are:
- Service Discovery
- SSA (for networking)
- Voice Gateway.
Does somebody know how to upgrade the service "SIM-ACCESS" ?

XDA IQ + Pioneer Bluetooth

Hi all!
I've just recently had a new sat-nav system fitted to my car, it's a Pioneer AVIC-X1BT, which comes with Bluetooth hands free capability.
However, I can not successfully pair my XDA IQ with it! The pairing apears to be successful but when I go to check the Pioneer head unit, the handset is not listed..
Anyone have any ideas as to what I could be doing wrong please?

XDA Phone(Tornado) + Pioneer
HI,
I connect my XDA to the Pioneer BT Adapter CD-BTB100 and it says that the connection is successful.
But my Pioneer DEH-P7700MP does not change after setting it in the "C.OPEN" mode into the "TEL" mode.
My mobile telephone supports also the A2DP- Profile.
Can anyone help me to solve the problem.

In the compatibility list in piooner.com says Qtek 8310 is not compatible with this, I have the same problem. We need to buy new phone
Call to Qtek Germany
I called Qtek Germany and they said that there is no available Update or Upgrade for installing the SAP (sim access Profile) which we would need. And there is no chance this could happen in the future because our xda phone is "too old".

What type of GPS does the 2125 support?

I just came across a Cingular 2125 running Windows Mobile v6.1 being used on ATT Wireless network here in the states, An upgrade from my Nokia 6085. I would like to make it GPS Enabled even if I have to purchase a Bluetooth GPS Receiver (since I cant get my BT353 USB GPS Receiver work.)
Most all of the BlueTooth GPS Receivers I see use the Serial Port Profile (SPP) and I cant tell for sure but from what I read and can tell the 2125 doesnt support this Bluetooth Profile.
Yet alot of wesite I see including the ATT website says the 2125 supports external bluetooth gps receivers. Says 2125 is compatible with ATT Navigator with use of a BT-359C via SPP so im confused.
Can I used GPS Navigating software on the 2125 running WM5? And if so What GPS Reciever can I use. I was hoping to be able to use my BR-353 but not sure were to find usb driver that will work under WM5. The ones provided from usglobalsat are only for PPC and not WM6.
Any thoughts?
Many thanks,
SomeGuy
Anyone?
Just want to make sure that if I purchase a Bluetooth GPS Receiver it will work. Any recommendations on any paticular gps receiver?

:BUMP:
Will a Bluetooth GPS that supports SPP profile work with the Cingular 2125?
Please Please!
I've used both of the Dell Bluetooth GPS units. One is the BT309 and I'm not sure the number of the newer model. I don't see why any Bluetooth GPS wouldn't work. Just select it and add a serial port for the connection. Then point whatever software you have to it. I'm using TomTom 5.2 which I guess is the last version for smartphone. I read somewhere that you could also run TomTom 6 (PPC version) but I can't figure out how (unless you use a ppc rom?).

GPS Voice guidance via Bluetooth

Hi,
does anyone know if it is possible to get sat-nav voice guidance via a Bluetooth headset on an O2 XDA Orbit. I bought two of these recently on Ebay. Was kinda hoping I could use them on the bike rather than spend a fortune on a Tom Tom Rider or Garmin Zumo. I've tried this with a Nokia E71 and it works, but I can't get it to work with the Orbit. I'm using Garmin Mobile XT 5.0, but I think the issue is with the Orbit, not the sat-nav software?
all a2dp able headsets should transfer all sounds from the pda to the headset
... Or any PPC with Broadcom Bluetooth Stack (because there is an option in settings that you can tick to route all sistem sounds over bluetooth)

Acer n50 with Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-104

Hi,
I would like to use my Nokia Bluetooth Headset BH-104 with my acer n50 (win CE 2003) in order to start applications via Microsoft voice command.
Unfortunately, despite the fact that i can see the device on my pda after a scan, i am not able to establish the connection. I got a message indicating that the service requested isn't available.
From the documentation, i saw that the headset is compatible with windows CE 2003.
Also, I tested the headset with my gsm and i confirm that it works perfectly
Any ideas on how to fix this issue with my pda ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I bought handsfree and get paired. But when I start external gps it request me to pair and when I pair it disconnect the handsfree. Please can you help with some fix.
