Password need to open ROM and EXTENDED ROM, want to add/remove some files.

Can some body get the password for the ROM files...
Hmmm…. Had no success yet getting out password to open Ms.nbf. But I found that we can upgrade Radio.nbf. So extract jam ROM to a folder delete Ms.nbf and NK.nbf and start Himaupdate.exe . The process of radio upgrade will appear. Anyway I installed the jam rom thru SD earlier. So finally I have radio updated. Lets wait until the password unlock, than it will be like before!

How did you update the MDA compact to a I-mate ? Witch ROM file ?

Pinooo, I made it with jam.nb1 file that you can find on this site it was in forum Mda Compact from German to English. So there is all needed for update of MS and extended ROM and radio you will get from Official ROM see above how to do it.

Hi to everyone. I tried to edit .nbf files with ER2003EDIT on my Qtek S100 ( Italian version ); but I can't access to the file beacuse I can't find the right password. I want to delete some .cab files on the Extended ROM, so I can have a bigger Storage memory. Someone can help me??!! Can I use another ROM files editor ??!!

There is no possibility until now to adapt the extended ROM of the Magician devices....

Ok...but someone edited the new Magician ROM to create the BIGSTORAGE ... so it is possible to edit the ROM!!! How!!??
I would say hexediting the ROM. Could all be done, but is very hard....

I'm looking to change my French ROM to English on my S200 but am I wondering does it overwrite all of the installed software on it (i.e. Excel Mobile, Word Mobile, etc)?
If so, where does one reinstall these from? It is not obvious that I received a CDROM with all of that with the phone....

These progs are in windows mobile. When u install a different rom, them proggies stay in. So, no need for any CD.

I am cooking an new ROM based on the NoThrills ROM (19202 ENG).
I have 2 questions:
1. Doe sit make sense to install the new programs under "\program files" or should they stored undes "\windows" ?
2. I have flashed my new ROm to my kaiser, but unfortunately I get for some new apps the info that the apps is from unknown publisher. I have not found a regsistry key to disable this info.
