I have XDA II with the lastest ROM, a Jabra Bluetooth Headset and MS Voice Command,, as much as I can press a button on the XDA and scream my commands at it from afar, I would like to be able to push the Bluetooth headset answer/release button and talk my commands and then hear my replies in the headset, is this possible, and if so, can anyone tell me how to do it.
Thanks Paul
from what i understand it require a profile which is not in the bluetooth stack at this moment
but i dont follow it much because i dont use a headset
I've got a orange m1500 (alpine) with tomtom and use a wired gps/charge cable in my car
on long journeys i like to have cd's playing and sometimes miss the tomtom directions
is there any way to direct the tomtom voice to my bluetooth headset so I don't miss the directions and my wife doesn't sit and complain about jane's voice
I haven't tried it (don't use TomTom), but follow the attached link. This company claims to support sending TomTom prompts directly to a BT headset...

I found that if you activate your headset by pressing the call answer button on the headset itself, the TT audio comes through the headset instead of the device.
Hello, I would like to install a bluetooth car kit to be paired with P3600.
I'm searching for a fixed kit to be connected to the audio car system and capable (at least) to be used as hands free and to route phone calls and tomtom voice instructions through car speakers.
I was looking for the Parrot MK6000 but on Parrot forum I've found that this kit don't work properly with windows mobile devices.
In detail seems that you loose the first part of voice GPS instructions (a delay on connection?).
Someone has a positive experience with a bluetooth carkit paired with P3600?
I'm waiting for your suggestions....
Many thanks,
Marco
That Parrot (Parrot MK6000 Bluetooth Carkit) is compatible with P3600, don't worry.

Thank you for your opinion Svenitos.... but it's based on your own experience or on Parrot compatibility list?
I'm worried about feedbacks on Parrot forums (i.e. this one... http://www.parrot.com/forums/english/viewtopic.php?id=4637) and I don't want to buy an equipment and to pay for car installation just to discover that doesn't match with my Trinity....
Any real experience with this kit or other similar carkit is still appreciated...
Thanks
Marco
It's based on the list of Parrot, not on my own experience..
I have used two Parrot BT handsfree carkits (CK 3000 and CK 3000 Evolution and with different telephones (HTC Trinity, Nokia 6230i and SonyEricsson 830) without any problems whatsoever.
The sound quality in Parrot sets is excellent, best I´ve ever heard - next set will definately be Parrot again.
Voice instructions from TomTom and iGo/MioMap etc. navigation software will not be directed through the BT though - only telephone calls...

Thank you, theknf.
New generation of Parrot carkits MKxxxx uses also A2DP connection for stereo music streaming and also to route any PDA sound through BT.
Unfortunately seems that A2DP channel is still active when paired, so Parrot is checking if there is any sound on this channel to switch the loudspeakers from car audio system to the Parrot output.
This switch takes a couple of seconds, so you loose the first part of your favorite song or the first words of your navigation software voice instructions.
Did you never tried a patch like AudioBT to route voice instructions through your Parrot CK series carkit? This can be a workaround...
Thanks
Marco

No, I never tried that - I always disable voice instructions when using navigation - I just use the visual effects......

Hi,
FYI, it works per-fec-tly with my Parrot 3100... (Before and after the Parrot ROM update)
Since WM6, I have radio signal and baterry gauge.
But with my TOMTOM gps software, the sound still come from the phone...
Regards,
Franck
I have a Sony car radio MEX-BT2500 with bluetooth handsfree AND A2DP streaming. It costs about 150 Euros.
Works very good, used it with my old Magician without any troubles, and you dont have more devices and cables floating around in your car.
I can use it even with open roof in my cabriolet.
So far my new P3600 with WM6 works also, the only problem in the moment is that is does not auto reconnect the A2DP profile. However the handsfree is reconnected automatically.
When A2DP is connected, then you hear music and/or Tomtom over the car speakers.
I used a NOKIA CK-7W kit for some time. The TomTom voice instructions are not heared on the kit. They keep coming from the trinity.
Concerning the usage for phone calls, my experience is really bad. I can hear my interlocutor with good quality sound, but he is always complaining that he can't hear me correctly. There are constant interruptions in the sound.
I am now using a bluetooth headset.

Greetings:
I am wondering if it is possible to hear the routing GPS voice guidance for direction over your phone bluetooth monoraul or stereo headset. I have tried XTmobile GPS software on my Tilt WM 6.1 with my Jawbone 1.0 but I can't hear the voice guidance through my headset; however, I can hear the phone conversation and voice dial with my Jawbone. I wonder if using other GPS software such as Igo 8 or TomTom 7 and stereo headset will solve my problem. If not, is it possible to achieve this? It is impossible to hear the voice guidance through the speaker while walking in NY city street.
Your advice and help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you much for the info. I will look into this.
I am using Sygic for navigation on my motorbike. I have a Schuberth SRC (Cardio) bluetooth headphone system in it. I can phone, listen to music from and to my helmet, but I cannot hear the voice instructions of Sygic on my headset (when properly connected). Can you help me how to solve this problem? Thank you in advance!
