OK,
So I upgraded to the new 1.06 ROM without problems. The sound quality is better, camera is still just as crappy.
My big problem is that my SanDisk WiFi 256MB card no longer works.
The S100 hangs when I put the card in, take it out and everything is OK. I've tried a hard reset and installed only the WiFi drivers but the problem still exists.
Has anyone had the same problem?
And does anyone have a solution?
Cheers,
/Trev
Hi Blitr,
I've flashed with the same rom my S100 and downloaded the drivers from the Sandisk Web site and works fine since 1 week on my device. should not be a generic ROM issue, I guess

Is anybody using backpack and WM2003SE with problems?
I can use VGA to do the presentation but not S-video...
Also, anybody success in using a CF wifi card with wm2003se????
I really want to use that.
Somebody please...............
Thanks....
I am also using the backpack. I faced the same problem as well as a problem regarding the WiFi CF card.
I changed the OS from 2.06WWE to 2.20CHS and now every thing is working perfectly.
Even the custmer support of SanDisk can not explain how the WiFi Card is working.
Unfortunally this version is not complete but .........
i have the XDAII running 2003SE and a Backpack, with CF netgear CF card, and the sandisk 1gig storage seperately, and they all work fine. I am usings Sins version.
Hi there,
I'm new in this forum and not yet an expert on all this items handled here. So maybe one of those great software guys can help me.
I got a present from my Chinese friend, it's a DOPOD P860 mobile branded for china mobile. As I'm german I tried to change the operating system to german or english. All those great tools worked fine for flashing procedure.
I tried original O2 ROM and some others like the one from Bepe. Also combined these with several Radio Rom. Operating system of the device works fine with nearly all of these Roms.
Problem remains:
The recognition level of the radio is low. As soon as I go into any building I will get a "no signal" message.
Is there anyone who can help me?
Thanks, wbr
Same to me
I have just the same problem totally...
I am in China, flashed WWE rom. no signal..denied serching..1 bar..
How do I get it over ?
Try the official muRate radio.
tried already several
I tried already several radios but I will also check for this one.
In my opinion the device is different from the standard cruise. There is no WIFI installed. I already tried to get the original radio from Dopod, but as I cant read chinese characters I'm not able to find it.
1.59.42.15 doesn't work better
No better signal
Sometimes reboots after hang up
Several times connected but no noise in the speaker.
improvement but still not high quality
I just installed following version:
RUU_Polaris_HTC_WWE_SEA_1.28.457.2_radio_sign_25.69.30.05_1.58.25.14_murata_Ship.exe
Phone system is working well. Maybe this is a first step in improvement. I'm still convinced that only the original radio rom for this dopod might work with high response.
If there is anyone who is able to get this please reply.
I gotta the same problem
My friend give me a dopod P860, it's low signal after he flashed the radio,i flash the radio VER 1.58.27.27 and the CMCC custom os back,it's low signal too
i have no idea to repair it now
I hope someone have some way to save it
(I live in china)
Hello everyone,
I'm running across a serious battery problem just the day I've flashed my first hacked WM6.1. My vox seems to be useless. Earlier it was quite ok.
Whenever, I try to start Internet over mobile through any mean like skype, IE, operamini, windows live, Internet sharing, my vox suddenly get switched off.
While in a call, it get sudden switched off sometimes on connected sometimes after 2 to 5 mins.
Battery seems to be drained very fast.
I think on trying these roms some of the files got displaced or corrupted or missing ... I've tried almost each and every hacked rom for vox. Also I've tried to flash all the versions of radio. but no luck. I've also tried by replacing new battery, still no luck.
Please help anyone !
Thanks
Which rom did you flash? Have you tried a different rom?
The ROM is not the issue here.
This is the exact same problem with my Vox and believe me, i've tried every ROM that exists for Vox(built a few of my own also).
This is a issue with the Vox's battery. Get a replacement if under warranty or get a enw battery.

Do you think new battery will definitely solve the problem? Because I'm facing this problem just from the day I've flashed first hacked rom, earlier it was ok. As you said that you've faced the same problem. Have you overcome this issue? Have you changed battery?
I've tried each and every rom. I've found only one rom which is almost stable that is of fireburned rom WM6.1
Is there a solution I can flash complete rom I mean not update but new installation the way we install new OS in pc.
Thanks.
Hi all.
I'm sorry if this question has been asked before but what is the difference between the P3650 Cruise (Polaris) and the O2 XDA Orbit 2?
The reason I am asking is that I have recently had a Parrot MKi9200 handsfree car kit installed and my O2 XDA Orbit 2 seems to be unable to maintain a stable Bluetooth connection between the two?
I have contacted Parrot Technical Support and they have said that they have tested the MKi9200 with the P3650 Cruise (Polaris) and it works perfectly but at the moment they haven't tested it with the O2 XDA Orbit 2!
So I'm struggling to understand why the O2 XDA Orbit 2 won't work?
same hardware, different case, so firmware (ROM) -wise they are the same device, if your parrot device still doesn't work, you might want to update your ROM to the latest version at XDA site (official) or try a Polaris custom ROM from here until you find the right one for you.
Use search feature and read before posting, it's the best path you can follow.

Hi Drakh and Davidez2.
Thanks for getting back to me.
I'm afraid you've totally lost me!!!!!!
I'm new at this and I'm not quite sure what you mean and where I'm supposed to be looking!!!!!!
Many thanks.
Hi,
I have an Mki 9100 paired with my Orbit 2 and it works perfectly for telephony, but not so well for directions coming from TomTom.
I installed C Shekar's "b" rom when I got the phone and haven't looked back.
What are your symptoms?
Hi SpiggyTopes.

The symptoms I have is that I can't maintain a stable bluetooth connection.
Sometimes the Orbit 2 connects perfectly (telephony & CoPilot) and then after x minutes a "connection lost" message appears on the screen. (I've put 'x' minutes because it's not always the same amount of time).
Or, it may connect (telephony only) but still loses the connection after x minutes.
I've contacted Parrot and they finally come back to me to say that they have tested the MKi9200 with the HTC Touch Cruise but not the Orbit 2.
I have also tried a friends Touch Cruise with the MKi9200 and still had the same problem.
However, when I contacted Parrot again they said that there has been a problem with some of the HTC Touch Cruise's where the handset drops the Bluetooth connection when idle and that there is a "Hot Fix" to resolve this. (So I'm going to download this "hot fix" on the Touch Cruise and try it)
If this "hot fix" does resolve the Touch Cruise handset then I'm not sure whether to try the "hot fix" on the Orbit 2? Any thoughts?

As I said in one of my previous posts I'm a newbie to this so I'm not sure what you mean by you installed C Shekars "b" rom?
many thanks
OK - re new ROM:
You can upgrade the built in part of the phone's memory which runs the phone itself. I didn't like the O2 system, so flashed it to another ROM, which is far far better.
You would need to be calm and collected to do it!
You download and run SP Unlock to completely unlock your phone. No changes to the working of the phone are made.
Backup your data if necessary
You download the ROM (C Shekar's "b" (not the "a") rom - you will find it in the upgrade forum). About 50 MB.
You run the ROM upgrade via your USB / Active Sync connection (I have Windows XP).
Done!
It will then work with Parrot.
I've done this several times with different phones, but if you are nervous about it, try to get some hands on help.
Should I write my complete story of my problem? Dunno... well, just two sentences:
I've rooted, CWM'd my O3D and installed quite a few GB-ROMs, never noticing that something is wrong with them all. The Baseband seems to adjust the mic-volume of Bluetooth-Headsets, so that you almost have to whisper so your voice don't get distorted on the other side of the call.
First I thought my headset was broken, so I bought a new one yesterday. But no, the new one had the same problem.
After reading some how-tos here on XDA I've managed to downgrade my Baseband/ROM to V10k (T-Mobile), and guess what: The headsets are working perfect! So I guess it has something to do with the Baseband.
I've now flashed the german V21A.kdz cause I wasn't able to root that V10k (not working USB-Connector, just charging my O3D when connected, even with uninstalled and reinstalled LG Mobile drivers. With V21A the USB-Connector is working the usual way).
So, 2 questions:
1. Is there any hack/setting/app which manages the MicBoost (or similar) on bluetooth-headsets?
2. If not, any suggestions on how to root the V10K, better say get my USB working again with V10K?
----Edit 19th Jan----
Got a respond from the LG support telling me, that they'll only give support if I'm using 1 out of 5 LG-headsets. Great. :-/
Ok LG, I'll buy one, but be aware if it's not working!
----Edit 21th Jan----
Just to tell you how I solved it:
The LG-Headset arrived yesterday, and it didn't work (I've expected that though), so it's going back to Amazon.
Fed up with life and the way things are going I decided to rob a liquor store... no, wait, that was another thing.
On V21A, I saved all my data from the internal SD-Card to my PC, removed my external SD and formatted the SD-Card and everything else (data/cache,...) via CWM. Now that the phone was totally reset, I installed V10K.kdz again... and it worked. The USB behaves as usual, Debugging mode works like a charm. I'd never expected that it has to be the fault of something on the internal SD-Card.
Anyway, now I was able to root V10K and my Headset is working again. Hooray.
Thanks have to go out to adixtra for those awesome tutorials regarding flash kdz-files which helped me a lot in this case. I owe you one.... or two.
