I've done a square screen dialpad taken from WM6 rom, requested by a HP iPAQ 6945/6955 WM5 user. Can Treo users please test if this is compatible with your device?

if you go through from the front page, it doesn't ask to register. i've updated the link above. no registration necessary for any of the skins

The call log graphics have changed but not the dialpad itself. I have a Treo 750 from Cingular

Treo750 has special resources of dial pad.
That's why this does not work on Treo.

Looks like Treo 750 uses landscape images and not portrait that's why it isn't skinned. The CrossbowPhonepad has all included.

Thanks for the dialpad Swampy. I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes.

Nice work Swampy! I just installed it and like the look of the dialpad and buttons but don't like the look of the Call Log-- the plain white background and the choice of icon for missed/recieved calls kinda turn me off. I'll use it for a little bit to see if it grows on me.
BTW, I'm using it on an HP iPaq 6945.

i installed meny prog. on phone but when i tried made any change at reg by Tweaks2K2NETv191 i got this message
u r phone is locked and this registry key could not changed . contact ur service operator ......................

Did you try just to soft-reset your device? If yes - I think you'll have to make Hard Reset (all your settings, installed programs and any data in internal memory will be lost).

looks like imate sp4m. anyway just do a hard reset and then try again.

i made hard reast several time but stell

try these. unzip both then copy HTC Unlock to your Start Menu/Accessories. run it from there.
then run SDA App Unlock to your pc while the phone is activesynced. reboot.

Hm... Do you know, that your phone IS NOT SP5m? It is SP3m aka Qtek 8200!!!
So I think that you used some application or tweak, that works only in WM5
What was the way you made hard reset?

hi i bought a new 8925 cell phone charge the battery installed it
and it is stuck in "Tab the screen to set up your windows mobile based device"
i press the screen with the styles and nothing happens
is there a way i can get in instead of sending it back like flash a rom or something

Try press it a little harder. If nothing happens - perform the hard reset.
If you still stuck on that screen after hard reset - then your lcd is maybe broken. You should go to the shop with warranty...

i bought of ebay brand new
hard reset by press the 2 - keys together and then styles

Rookie not wanting to brick my kaiser

OK, I've read and re-read a bunch of stuff here and I just wanted to make sure I've done this right.
I've got the AT&T Tilt HTC Kaiser PPC
I tried to use hardSPL but I got the white screen so I followed this:

...and flashed using ONLY the flash-hardSPL.zip file included in this thread.
It worked, (I think) the whole process took only a few seconds before the bar on my screen went to 100%.
I want to run this ROMuttys_WM6.1_5.2.19700_Hybrid_V2 Cube
I just want to verify what I need to make the above work, and what files or differences I should see on my Tilt to ensure that I have hardSPL properly installed so I don't brick it.

Verifying Hard SPL
To verify, hold down the camera button while soft resetting ,continue to hold the camera button until you see a tricolor screen with the SPL version on it. Example: SPL-3.56.HARD

EDIT: OK, I just re-flashed it to ensure that it is at the latest 3.56 from the sticky at the top of this forum, and checked it via the camera/soft boot.

HTC - Touch Cruise Blank Screen Solution (Unlock it!)

Hi guys...
I'm glad to post my thread in this great forum which was helpful since I've bought my new (Plaris - HTC Touch Cruise) ... " it is new (9 days) so far, lol".
okay, i wish you are doing well.
Alright, I searched over the Internet about (the blank screen) when I lock my device and most of the post are about doing a hard reset (and it worked for me many times) but the thing is I've my files and worried to loose them esp. the messages. So I've tried many and many times to lock and try to unlock my device............Guess what?!
I've found the solution and it is in here for you!
okay.. I installed the nice app. (vSnap) - Download - and it captured two amazing pictures, here they are:

they show the accurate place where you can press and unlock your device easily.
first, try to click on the "unlock" on the left buttom of the device.
then, press the "unlock" on the right and middle of the screen.

What exact problem were you having with your Polaris?
There's a great app called MyMobileR which will let you take screenshots of the screen, and also control the phone from you PC.
Also, if you're looking for an 'unlock/lock' application, I'd recommend S2U2 which can be found here on XDA with a simple search.
