I know that the HK Chinese version of O2 mini doesn't come with smartdialer. Does anybody know how do I install this important feature over my O2?

Sure...it's called Wiki and Search.
It is not a question of ROM.....
You cannot load a non-vendor supplied (ie: AT&T, Orange, ect...) ROM without first unlocking the CID.
You cannot unlock the CID until the init display (ie: white screen) issue is fixed with Hard SPL.
Hard SPL unlocks the CID.
So for now, we wait and hope for a Hard SPL fix.

A discussion with no solution as of yet, so WTF? The answer's not in the WIKI and trust me, I know how to search better than many.

If youre in bootloader mode all you (should) need is the official RUU. Just google "official p4350 RUU" and you should find it. then just run it from your computer
Can I use any release of "official p4350 RUU"?
I really didn't understand that numbering system on those RUU/ROM files.
Or, is it again model specific? My phone gives following details.
Edit : Please do not reply to this post. I have asked this question in another forum. Thank you.

1. This is a ROM Development forum. This is NOT a development question. We have other sub forums for that.
2. Search. It's not safe to flash unless you understand what you're doing. If you need someone to give you a link, then you might not understand it and you can possibly break your phone. To keep the phone safe, PLEASE read on it first.
3. Maybe you should try a third party ROM instead.
This is my fault ivan, he posted in the Mobile 6 forum to begin with, and I didn't realize what forum I was in and told him not to post there.
FAIL lol... but yeah read up on it, its happened to me before flashing a bad rom i made haha...
hi all,
I installed the new donut and everything worked ok (after a wipe unfortunately) but whenever any application requires root, the superuser app pops up and freezes which basically means i cant use my root access...
I tried switching between the adp version and the ota version but that didnt help - did anyone else encouter this?
i've migrated from JF 1.5 -could that be the reason?
seems like your sentence ends in a question mark.....

Thanks man!
That helped
and yes, my sentence does end in a question mark - it's a good way to end a question imho.
(that one ended with a period and this one will end in a right parenthesis, to avoid further discussions on the matter)

What are you talking about? This guy is obviously more important than everyone else. He deserves to be able to post his personal questions in the development forum. What are you thinking?

Hey guys,
I have a desire s and tried to update from cyanogen mod 7.2 (2.3.7) to the official htc 4.0 update, downloaded the wwe ruu 4.0 update from htc,
the update completed but i can't boot. just get a black screen.
I can load hboot screen by pressing and holding down the volume down and power button. how can i get the 4.0 or 2.3.7 back?
Thank you
Read the stickies and use the search function please. Do you really think you are the first person to ask this?
Also, when you do ask questions, give more info about your phone so the guys who know what they're doing have a chance of working out what's wrong. :banghead:

What hboot are you on?
And instead of asking for links, what link have u found that you tried.

Dont be a fool here. When people asked you to search, is because very similar or exactly the same questions/issues have already been asked, discussed and solved. And when people ask u to give more info, provide it eg, hboot, s-off, relocked.

Thanks Rain - you getting in there meant that I didn't go diving in and ripping the OP a new one for his attitude. I almost expect it from a newbie, but not from someone who has been on XDA for 7 years (even if they haven't exactly participated much). I guess that with him having not posted anything for almost the whole 7 years he probably hasn't been on here and is a virtual noob anyway.
I really don't understand why people are unable to firstly search and secondly to follow instructions given when they ask for help
