Hi all,
i just got an MDA III (on t-mobile) but the problem is that all outgoing international calls are barred by default.I called customer services and they told me that i first have to pay a £100 deposit before making any such calls.Ever heard of something similar???Thanks in advance.
That usually happens if your a new customer, they will refund it via your monthly bills.

I have two phone contracts in my name. One with O2 (My own phone, XDA2), and the other with T Mobile(My wife's phone - P800).
Can I cancel my contract with O2, get my PAC, get my wife to start a new contract with O2 with my PAC and get an Exec(!)?
I have tried to negotiate a discounted upgrade but they will not budge
Thanks for your help
Just go from O2 online to an O2 shop or vice versa. They are different companies. I only found this when I went to an online tariff and then had to get a PAC code off O2 to give to O2.
Hi all, I am coming to the end of my contract and wanting to upgrade from my Vario III to the Vario IV when its shortly released but I have been advised by CS and the loyalty team that my free evenings and free weekend calls will be removed and all customers will be loosing this benefit when there contract runs out.
The only way to keep this option is not to upgrade or renew your contract.
I have called a few times as I know you get different answers each time you call but they all say the same.
I was wondering if anyone else here has been told the same?
Hello everyone,
I'm currently in Canada and I would like to bring my Galaxy S II (in 3-year contract with Bell Canada) with me to China. I had an online chat with a sales rep about what I need to do to have it working in China without paying for roaming. She told me that I need to unlock my phone for $75 in order to get rid of the International restrictions that comes with any new customer's plan. I thought a phone has to be unlocked in order to take foreign sim cards. However, from my understanding of the sales rep's explanation, I CAN use my phone with a foreign SIM card with no problem, but I need to pay roaming afterwards. So what do I have to actually unlock in order to have my phone working in China (with local a sim card) without having to pay roaming?
Thanks.
Hello, i'm new to this forum so I apoligise in advance if i've posted in the wrong section. I have just brought a Samsung Galaxy s3 mini with box Locked and branded to o2 uk. I paid a fair price for it but now have concerns and think I may have shot myself in the foot. Basically she Got the phone on contract and could not get on with it so bought an iphone 4 elsewhere and decided to sell the samsung(to me).
I am not stupid when it comes to technology so i asked her if it was on a contract (just incase she pulls the insurance scam on me) and she said it was but she has the contract sim card in her iphone now. Hyperthetically if she did not pay her bill for whatever reason will the phone get blacklisted on o2 in the uk? or does that only happen when the handset is reported lost or stolen? If she does not pay her bill will it just be the sim card that gets barred and not the phones imei number? In my experience it has just been the sim card and the phone ended up being fine but i've heard rumors so I would like to clear this up.
Thanks
My friend (obviously not me...) has a question about canceling service on T-mobile.
She got into T-Mobile network few months ago and she was using a phone from Korea.
And she is trying to change her phone and carrier.
She is currently on T-mobile right now and she wants to switch to Verizon Wireless.
Her question was, is there any fee that she have to pay for if she is canceling service on T-Mobile?
