Ringtone - General Topics

Hiya
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the music from that new Motorola Razr V3 advert that's on at the moment? It's fantastic and would love it as my ringtone!!
Cheers
Anthony
PS - I've "google'd" my heart out and can't find it anywhere.

Track is by "Dabyre" and is called Hyped Up Plus Tax

maybe you already know but just incase i wanted to tell you. what i am doing for my ringtones is; i downloaded a free software from http://www.freewareppc.com/multimedia/notem.shtml. it is called noteM. normally it records any voice in mp3 format and also it converts any mp3 format to vaw format. by that way i can download any mp3 files from my computer and convert it to vaw. here is my ring tone. ready to serve...

Here is the Kill Bill Nurse ringtone as above except I've converted it to WMA so that it will play on the xda. Simply put it in your windows/rings folder and you should be able to assign it as a ringtone from sound notifications.

Wrong. O2 XDA mini use WE2003 so it can not be done as your way. The simple way for this topic as I had, install TCPMP soft. In Options>setting>select page>File associations then click MPEG Audio files or what kind of music files which you want to set as your XDA ringtones.
CHEER!!!
Thanks... viet......
just copy the Mp3 to the rings folder in windows.. works just fine for O2 mini.. no problems at all
Mine worked but no longer...

I have a O2 MINI. ROM 1.11.00 Radio 1.12
I had installed this fine and the mp3 tones were working jsut fine, till a few days back, i was installing applications like Fonix voice and Audionotes etc.... then i unistalled audionotes, and a few other applications and games i longer used.... and then all of a sudden my Mp3 ringtones stopped working.
when i click on the ringtone, it says that there is no application associated with this file or it is corrupt. But then when i open windows media players and open the same file it works 100%. I then installed tcpmp and associated the mp3 files.
then when i click on it, it says that the file is not found make sure that the path etc is correct or not, but when u open it individually in the player it works.....
Help me out, what should i do.... i must have deleted another file that day or something....
What should i do... help me? Would a Hard Reset work.
Thanx in advance
have u copid ur mp3s to ur rings folder or play it someother way? in mini al u need to do is copy the mp3 to the windows.rings folder and then access them through the phone setting.. sweet n simple

Ring Tone: Papaya

I got sick of surfing all the dumb ring tone websites out there, and I wanted something I liked ... so, I created a ring tone myself.
I plan on releasing more as time goes on.
The ZIP file contains both Stereo and Mono versions, all transcoded in WMA (I found WMA files work best under WM5.)
This ring tone is released under the Creative Commons license. I hope you enjoy it.
Coming soon: a "variation" of the iPhone ring tone (my own original work--Apple can't take it down)
What software do you use to produce it? some MIDI->WAV->WMA process?
I use a MIDI setup with GarageBand on my iMac, export the file to .m4a, edit in Sony Sound Forge, and save as .wma.
huh. not bad at all.
certainly not grating and it's quite pleasant! I think I'll throw 'er on my phone and try it out.
Thanks for posting. We need more things like this. Enough with the hip-hop ringers, lol.

ringtones.

i know it has more then likely been asked before but i couldnt find it. im looking to put 2 ringtones on my phone. only place i can find them is on youtube. i tried to just record it using ringdroid but the quality isnt very good. does anyone know a good way of doing this? or would do it for me maybe in the market or something? if it helps i want "the chicago code" shows theme song as my ringtone. and the old spice theme (the whistling at the end of the commercials) for txt, emails, etc
I know there's a website to go to to make your own ringtones, and it has an option to pull from a YouTube video. Now, I can't remember the website because it's been about 4 years... but Google really quick.
Another option is to use TubeMate or something else to convert the video to mp3 & then trim it in Ringdroid or whatever app you use.
