i didnt recieve a sms until i deleted a sms and so some sms got lost.
there is no way to set up that i do not want to use SIM card for those matters...

Re: SIM card is full ??!? pls help
just go to your text messages inbox and scroll down until you see an icon indication showing that message is on your SIM card, open the message, and then click MENU -> Save to Phone. This will copy that message to your phone's memory, then you have to go back and delete the original message which is stored on your SIM card. Do this untill you see no messages with "stored on SIM" icon. Only then you will get rid of "The sim card is full you must remove some messages" error notification...
good luck! Alex.
Hi Guys,
This is my first post so go easy.....
I have run a search, and looked at the WiKi,and read the manual and cannot find the answer.
I am in the UK and have an O2 Serra (HTC TP), the problem I have is that I was using a Sony Ericsson K800i and my "Archive" for txt messages was full up, but this did not stop me receiving txts.
When I put my Sim into the TP I get the message that I cannot receive any Txt messages as my Sim is full. Can I get the phone to save Txts to my memory card? I have purchased a 4GB MSD which is installed. I do not want to lose the txts on my sim.
Is there a way to do this or any work around?
Thanks in advance for any replies,

I use powersms...you should check it out it is pretty awesome...trinketsoftware.com I think....they have a trial...but you can save the messages in that program to your memory card. Did you look at PIM back up it is free and on XDA by Dotfred....
Hi Slawcop,
Thanks very much, I have checked both out. They both look like they are worth having.

using Windows Mobile here.
is there any way I can read the SIM Card? I need to recover or analyse deleted text messages (even after you deleted it from the deleted items folder).
is there software that exists that will do this even if I connect the phone via USB or even on the device itself?
I heard something about it but not sure whether is really exist. Try to search the net for sms recovery.
I bought a PC/SC USB SIM Card reader and tried to use a data recovery sim software. but it doesnt seem to see anything on the SIM Card at all!
so I wonder how text messages are stored on the SPV C500?
I really would like, in any way possible, to try and analyse and recover the text messages/sms
When I going into the phonebook application and start scrolling contacts or try adding contacts I get a notification come up saying that my SIM card has been removed and I have to reboot my device!!??
Any Ideas?
You might just need a new SIM card. Verizon should replace it for free.
