Use Total Commander instead of the built in file explorer.

How do I send a Shockwave Flash file (.swf) as an MMS text message.

Ok. I know this is a noob question pertaining to flash files. I have several funny shockwave flash files (.swf) and am able to view them fine on my home PC. I was wondering if there was a way to convert them so that I could send them as an MMS text message, and would be viewable to the phone on the other end? I know that when I download them to my Excalibur's memory card, they are not viewable in that particular file format.
And while we are on the topic, is there a program to allow viewing of flash files on a smartphone?
if you can convert them to executable flash files using Flash itself, you can send them as files in MMS's and if the receiving end has a flash player installed he can view them.

are you talking Bluetooth?
my understanding is file transfer via BT is not possible in stock. For the G1 developers like cyanogen have come up with apps for that which work, and i expect in his first custom ROM for Nexus One it will be included.
i can transfer certain file types from my laptop to my not-yet-rooted-N1, e.g., *.png, *.mp3. for other file types that generate an error message, my workaround is to add the file extension ".png" to the file so it gets transferred to my and then from the N1 remove the .png extension. all files are stored on the sdcard in a folder called Bluetoooth.
Thanks Cortez.
It works.

[Q] Bluetooth Files & File Extensions

When I send a file to my phone from my Mac via Bluetooth the file extension gets doubled... So if I sent test.jpg it comes to the phone as test.jpg.jpg - anyone know why?

How to unpack .dat files for an app within data partition?

How could I unpack the .dat files in the data directory of an app?
Specific Example:
I've .dat files from Packet Capture that I need to unpack them to be able to see text and images for the packets (request and responses) I captured. I need to search within them on my PC. The normal export process within the app is very exhausting (requires me export each single request). But this way I can unpack all the .dat files and search within them easily.
The .dat files of Packet Capture exist in /data/data/app.greyshirts.sslcaptre/files/
Here's an example .dat file.
