is there a way to change the font size in today screen?
Not sure which font/text you are referring to.. but do try this:
Start > Settings >System > Screen > Text Size.
This will adjust the fonts for most of the built in programs and the Today Screen.
that's the exact answer i was looking for.. thanks
hate to see the huge font on the small screen

For themes u can download any themes online, and use them. test em and see which gives u the best background - font colour combination
for font size go to
Start > settings > system > Screen > Text Size tab
thx for your answer but i am looking for a theme

theme black on white [large]
Today themes usually only set the colour/picture of the background and the colour of the font.
So, you need to search for a windows mobile 6 all black theme. These usually have the font in white.
The size of the font used is usually set differently. In S-K Tools there is a section called Tune Up, where there is a sub section called font, and it seems that you can adjust the size of your font for various things like menu etc. I haven't tried this myself, but if I were you I would do a full backup first, using spb or sprite backup, just in case!
Good luck.
I'm not sure which forum to post this in but here goes. Does anyone know how to change the font color in TF3D? AT&T uses a white font on the home screen and a black font on the other screens and I can't read the black font very well, I need to change it to white. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
I would assume its in the TF3D config files located in the Windows Folder. It's been a while since I messed with TF3D since I don't like it much.
You might want to search and download a TF3D Configurator Program, which provides a nice little interface to select various options and automatically edits the config file.
anyone know why when i change the font size in spare parts it quickly reverts to the default settings? it seems to change all fonts size but doesnt last long. once it changed right before my eyes just by rotating the phone to landscape. weird. would love to be able to make the font slightly smaller because one of my widgets gets cut off a little and a smaller font size fixes this. also, im not 80 years old and dont need a huge font to read. thanks
User Friendly
This is actually so ridiculous. 'Not so smart' phones like BB has at least 20 fonts to choose from and allows to make a choice for font size. I dont understand the so called open Android can not not have a simple setting like Font selection and size!!!
So much for open system and user friendliness!!!!
Can anyone please tell me where exactly the Default Text Font size is set in the android framework. When I change the font size using Spare Parts package and reboot my android device, the font size sets to Normal style by default. But I want it to be Extremely Large by default.
Thanks,
Riyaz

I also want to know this,..Please help us,..Thanks in andvance
I have 2 x Moto G's: an "original" and a 4G one - both bought in the UK.
Holding them side by side earlier today I noticed that the "default" font in the 4G one appears bigger than in the old one. I am referring to the text that appears, for example, under the icons in the start screen, and in many of the standard ROM apps.
The only way that I know where this font size can be changed is under Settings->Accessibility and then tick "Large Text", but this is disabled in both...
Any idea what is going on? I would really like the old one to also have the larger font (ticking the Large Font option messes up the appearance of some apps.)
TIA.
PS:: both are running Android v4.4.4
