What is O2 Active UI or is it Active GUI? Omegaone Technical Support say in email O2 Active UI. I read in this forum there is O2 Active GUI. Which one right?
Story like this. I install 1-Pass software and at same time have PhonePlus. My Phoneplus 3 become hang or slow and have to make softreset. OmegaOne (1-Pass) technical feedback to me that I have to either uninstall the Active UI component on the device or contact the company I purchased from to request a refundbecause 1-Pass is not compatible with the O2 ActiveUI at present. They cannot do anything about it. I'm using O2 XDAII.
As far as I know they are the same. GUI stands for graphical user interface, UI stands for user interface. As for what it is....its this screen:

Can this be done with HTC phones?
I like the concept. It's about time, we can get a picture of our own phone/mp3 player on the screen, color included. Itunes has only done that for about 4 versions now.
Here is the link to the developer kit: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/DeviceExperience/Dev-Kit.mspx
Which I assume will never get utilized by phone manufacturers, since Microsoft is leaving it up to them. Maybe for the newest ones.
Nice article about it: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2354491,00.asp
If there is a place likely to develop these custom .xml profiles before waiting for the phone companies to do it, XDA seems like the place.
Any takers on cooking these profiles up? 1 Vote for the Tilt.

I've gone through a few phones recently and many of them already do this in WMDC but I suspect you need a manufacturer that can be bothered. In fact, I remember my tosh g900 doing this a couple of years ago.
Hi Dev's.
Any chance of anyone putting together a National Rail Enquiries Client like the Iphone one found here

Would be very useful I'm sure. The WAP version isn't bad but a client would be quicker and easier.
Thanks.
Yeah this would be majorly useful for me too . I did look around for one but never found one that was any good .
I know u mentioned the Wap site have you tried the PDA version MUCH better its
pda.ojp.nationalrail.co.uk
Its the one that I always use, the WAP is a bit more basic.
APP would be great
would a great app and very usefull if some one could port this to WM
I'm hoping with the inclusion of Marketplace on WM6.5 lots of apps will appear that were popular on Iphones
yes i am hoping we are going to see more but alot at the moment are not free and there doesnt seem to be many that are free..
and some are really expensive i think..
Thanks for the suggestion Marty. You're right, the PDA version is better than the WAP version.
Okay chaps and chappesss I am gearing up for my foray into the Android dual-boot wilderness and trying to get stuff sorted.
Whilst still trying to finalise the Android build I wish to use I wanted to clarify BootLoader.
I know of:
-JMZ (the free v4 one!)
-Exceller
-mkskip's
I know with the JMZ I can also use to install Android on first use.
Do the other 2 do that as well?
Does any one offer an advantage in terms of battery life over the other 2 (in the way they load android relative to extent of WinMo still active underneath - if you get what I mean?)
Any major reasons or other features to suggest one over the other?
I like the idea of having a WinMo button to load into Android as per mksip rather than having to power-off and select on start-up (don't know if Exceller does that as well though )
Any others I should consider instead?
Thanks
this is my favorite one

Could you please tell me why?
Here's what it is.
If you try dialing those service USSD, or USSID, don't know what it is called, you cannot press a key for reply.
Try dialing something like *xxx#, then a notification comes asking to dial either 1 for Option 1 or 2 for Option 2, and there's no possible way as to press the key.
It is not actually calling, but something you dial like when you want to check your credits.
Here's what a nokia phone gives. Its written 'Message', but its not SMS but got only by dialing as said above.

Is there any work-around or something which I can do?
It's not a bug, but yeah this is not currently possible with Windows Phone 7.
Just because of this I have to switch sim card in phone, hate alot MS cant provide this basic age old feature.
Windows mobile didn't had this prob.
Since MS, perhaps doesn't know this, is there any way to inform them or can we expect an update for this? Or is this so unused thing that nobody needs it anymore.
It will come in next updates. or you can visit official wp site and submit request feature
Hiya guys,
I have been working on a project that would allow anyone to create simple web-pages on their desktop pc's as-well as mobile device fast and easily! After much frustration I think I have what could be considered a 'working alpha' and would love for some of you to come and test what I have created. It uses a drag and drop type interface and hosts a number of features and tools to create web-pages.
The tool is 100% web-based and should work on just about any device (Im going to regret saying that). I had the idea that this might be useful for sites such as Ebay, to create templates for your auctions easily or static pages etc on the move.
Here is an image of the alpha taken from my desire hd2 -

Sorry for people who had the issue where passwords where not emailed out! Fixed my email settings so registration should work fine now.
Here are some more screenshots of the development tool on my desire hd -
Looking foward to some feedback guys!
