Okay chaps and chappesss I am gearing up for my foray into the Android dual-boot wilderness and trying to get stuff sorted.
Whilst still trying to finalise the Android build I wish to use I wanted to clarify BootLoader.
I know of:
-JMZ (the free v4 one!)
-Exceller
-mkskip's
I know with the JMZ I can also use to install Android on first use.
Do the other 2 do that as well?
Does any one offer an advantage in terms of battery life over the other 2 (in the way they load android relative to extent of WinMo still active underneath - if you get what I mean?)
Any major reasons or other features to suggest one over the other?
I like the idea of having a WinMo button to load into Android as per mksip rather than having to power-off and select on start-up (don't know if Exceller does that as well though )
Any others I should consider instead?
Thanks
this is my favorite one

Can this be done with HTC phones?
I like the concept. It's about time, we can get a picture of our own phone/mp3 player on the screen, color included. Itunes has only done that for about 4 versions now.
Here is the link to the developer kit: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/DeviceExperience/Dev-Kit.mspx
Which I assume will never get utilized by phone manufacturers, since Microsoft is leaving it up to them. Maybe for the newest ones.
Nice article about it: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2354491,00.asp
If there is a place likely to develop these custom .xml profiles before waiting for the phone companies to do it, XDA seems like the place.
Any takers on cooking these profiles up? 1 Vote for the Tilt.

I've gone through a few phones recently and many of them already do this in WMDC but I suspect you need a manufacturer that can be bothered. In fact, I remember my tosh g900 doing this a couple of years ago.
Someone saw this?

very awesome i think!
Someone know how to get this working? Maybe for 2 phones!?
I really like to show this some fu..... iphone fanboys =) They wont believe ! xD
Edit:
Found an APP for this !!!!! wtf!? Anybody know how to setup Blinkendroid!? (Blinkendroid is the app)
Tht Is pretty cool no idea how to use it :L
http://code.google.com/p/blinkendroid/
From the site:
How to use:
1. Install the latest version of blinkendroid on all devices that should join the cluster.
2. Join the same wifi access point on all devices (This access point may also be any android running froyo)
3. Start a server on any of the devices (use the menu button)
4. Start blinkendroid on the other devices
5. You may want to set owner names on participating devices (using the menu button again)
6. Select a server

Some might not be aware of what these are so in its most simplistic definition. An os tan is a fictional booth babe for an os.
Windows, Mac, even linux distros all tend to have what's known as a tan or a girl which normally comes in something usable for some fan art if you maybe have a computer fetish (im not going to judge if transistors are your thing)
Anyway my proposal is simple. Make an os tan and submit it in this thread or just post your idea for what features you think she (or he) should have.
Pile them all up and I will collect all the work safe ones for a popularity tournament to see which one will be the peoples choice.

I've found a few on Shuushuu, but can't post links at the moment as I haven't posted here enough. Also trying to draw my own adaptation~ I'll post it here when it's finished. But it seems to me, there aren't actually many about :/
Sorry for the bump
Hiya guys,
I have been working on a project that would allow anyone to create simple web-pages on their desktop pc's as-well as mobile device fast and easily! After much frustration I think I have what could be considered a 'working alpha' and would love for some of you to come and test what I have created. It uses a drag and drop type interface and hosts a number of features and tools to create web-pages.
The tool is 100% web-based and should work on just about any device (Im going to regret saying that). I had the idea that this might be useful for sites such as Ebay, to create templates for your auctions easily or static pages etc on the move.
Here is an image of the alpha taken from my desire hd2 -

Looking foward to some feedback guys!

Hi,
years of hard development work has come to this. We are proud to present our latest mod, TYST4K.
ABOUT
Our Teichoscopic Rectiserial Odophone Libeccio Loxophthalmus makes this possible. We've done our research and we have years of experience in screen technology and development. We're currently negotiating with the "big boys" to get our work to wider audience, but you'll get this early because we love XDA and its community! Makes your device's resolution 4K (2160p)!
INSTALLATION
Download our script from attachments and place it in the root of your SD card. Reboot and voilà!
What else can we say? Enjoy your new 4K screen, no need to update your phone for at least a year! Also don't be worried, our technology is so efficient that your phone won't lag at all:good: Next we're going to start developing 8K but until then, be sure to leave a "thanks" if you're currently bragging about this to your friends and they're looking at you amazed!
reserved xD
Nice April fools !!
