after having recently installed the latest o2 ROM upgrade to my partners XDAII, she keeps finding that the recorder activates by itself and the notes file is filled with recordings of drivel.
Any thoughts please?

Hi!
I upgraded my HTC Wizard to WM6 using "S.N.E 3 Codename: Touch No Evil". ROM is great but I have one single problem. I cannot make my bluetooth hands free to activate voice dialing. This feature worked fine with WM5. I tried many things, including playing with the registry.
Do you have anything to recommend?
I guess I'm the only one with this problem!
What program are you using for voice dialing?
I am using Cyberon Voice Dialer.
Actually I discovered that I also have a problem receiving incoming calls by pressing the button of my hands free. The call is accepted but disconnected after a few milliseconds. The only way to make a call with my hands free is to start the call using the phone. For incoming calls my hands free does not work.
All these things was working with WM5 though.
I hope I won't have to get back to WM5!
Im sure is the OEM build of the cook. Why dont you install the cyberon voice dialer over. You can find this cab in the latest TNT thread.
Best regards.
Solved! Thanks, searching that ROM's threads.
Actually I'm using the latest release published by Cyberson. I was just missing the second of the following registry settings:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\VoiceCommand\Path = "\Windows\SDDialer.exe"
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTA GExtModule = "OEMAGW.dll"
I just upgraded from a Sprint Touch Pro to a Pro 2 & found that I can no longer use the voice command features (reminders/ appointments, caller id, etc). These features except caller id will work through the speaker. Has anyone found a work-around until the version 6.6 upgrade is available. In talking to someone at Sprint they stated that they may go straight to version 6.6 instead of 6.5. This version is suppose to have a number of features not available in 6.5. Voice command & the ring/vibrate feature should also be corrected. There were some registry settings that were available for the HTC mogul that worked with the Touch PRO but won't work with the Touch Pro 2.

I also had this issue and what I did to have it seudo working was the following.
I opened up the Bluetooth settings page and clicked on the 1st tab(the gears) then selected the advanced section/audio subsection and checked off the box that states "Play system sounds on remote hands-free device". That gave me the functionality of the incoming call/text message/confirmation alerts over my Bluetooth device.
There are posts everywhere about this feature and tweaks to get not only the bluetooth audio working but as well to get the blue tooth voice recogniziton working. The search feature is your friend.

It's only your friend when you reviewed every document concerning this problem and none of the answers pertain to your software package. Most of the windows based phones of today are using the Microsoft bluetooth stack in which voice command was created around. The new Touch pro 2 phones are using a widcomm bluetooth stack in which VC doesn't recognize so only a few of the features will work (voice dialing on my phone).

Thanks. I tried that one. I'm now able to get my emails & some reminders but no caller id which is the important one.

So search using the term widcomm stacks. At the very least there are a lot of threads about this very issue, maybe there will be some advice that can help you there:

I have searched long & wide all over the net for this feature that was NOT included in most of the HD2 flashed roms. I used Voice Command for the "Announce Incoming Call" feature in conjunction with my BT.
For those of you who use BT & did not use the "Announce Incoming Call" feature, it is one of the most convenient WM features. As it said in the name, it announced the name that is saved in the corresponding contact. If there is no name saved, it announces the incoming number.
If anybody has this pls reply.
Bought this phone on Ebay and now find it has custom ROM(Elegancia 3.0; WD 6.5) and according to T-Mobile the voice dialing feature no longer exists on the phone. Does someone know a fix for this very important phone feature? When green button held down diagnostic opens to say: ".. file cannot be opened.. either not signed by trusted.. or a component can't be found..try reinstalling or restoring file." I have no ideas and no software came with the phone. Please help!!
Will try to return it to seller if there is no easy voice dialing fix for me. Thanks,
I have found the following to get Bluetooth voice dialing woking:
Install Cyberon Voice Commander from the market. (Yes it is a paid app $5.99)
They do have a 48 hour refund policy.
The only function lacking is dialing a number digit by digit "Call 321-555-3232"
will not work, only contacts, but also can open apps, and a few other features.
Follow the instructions closely on installing and un-pairing/re-pairing your headset.
Press the voice dial button on your headset. If it does not work, and I had to do this, install Vlingo from the market(free).
Press the voice dial button on your headset, you should now get a menu on your screen as to which app to use for voice dialing, select Cyberon Voice Commander.
It should work from that point on.
EDIT: I am using a jawbone Era. You may need to login to Jawbone's Mytalk and reset the button for the voice dialing function. I have been running it now for 3 days without any problems.
For those with Jawbone ERAs don't bother . . just tried this and will now have to work with the developer to get my refund since I wen't past the 15-minute mark just trying out the various dial-apps on the Jawbone to test compatibility.
No matter what dial-apps on the Jawbone ERA itself you're using or what apps you have installed on the One X end the phone completely ignores headset button presses other than picking up incoming calls or hanging up a call. For the ERA anyway I suspect that Jawbone's own dial-apps feature is what keeps the headset from being fully compatible with this phone/ICS.
i also have the jawbone era and found the same problem. the cyberon voice commander developer was very prompt in refunding. i may try later with another headset, but am not really hopeful that voice dialing using a bluetooth headset will work seamlessly. of course my opinion is that one should be able to use it without having to touch the phone at all.
If you guys want, I have this voicetogo app from my now sold galaxy note. It works but I haven't tried with Bluetooth yet.

The link is from ny drop box account, the app is great , opens apps, digit dial, contact dial, all work.

Cool app.
Update: Uninstalled other voice assistant apps like Cyberon and rebooted the One X. The voice command apk posted above now works for me. Not sure but when I initially installed it yesterday I didn't reboot the phone, probably should have. I don't think the application is fully compatible with the phone, it crashes sometimes but overall it does work and I'm satisfied for now until something better comes along.

VoiceToGo fixed everything. Thx
