XDA Exec
also, can someone tell me how to deal with the device freezing up. It keeps freezing and I have to do a soft reset, about 6 times a day. I have not added any software...
1. Go to configure network adapters in settings and select "Internet" (My & Wireless network interface connects to) then secect the wireless adapter.
2. I would do a hard reset and replace it if the problem presists

You can use the phone as a modem without having to buy an external one. Set up a new connection and the 'select a modem' drop down box has 'Cellular Line' as an option. You will need to get your phone company to enable data calls on your service.
You'll also need a solid gold wallet.

Wireless auto connecting to networks

Tell me, is there any way to prevent lousy wireless connecting automaticly to all sorts of networks as soon as I fire it up?
I wanna connect to certain networks and find out which are available around, not connect first one immediatly.

Simulate PC connection on Freedompop Hotspot (overdrive)

Hello!
I just bought a freedompop Overdrive hotspot (sprint hotspot device, seirra wireless, qualcomm 3g)
In its admin settings, it has a feature to turn off the Wifi antenna when there is a PC connection present on the USB.
This would be AWESOME if i could simulate this connection... meaning when i turn the key off in my car, it would make the hotspot think a pc is connected- this would turn off wifi and not allow my data use to keep going when I am not in my car.
Is there any way to simulate this data connection? I have tried just cutting the data wires, it doesnt work. I think it needs to see a certain amount of resistance there... . or a much bigger fear- it needs to actually communicate with a pc:silly:

Sprint Galaxy S5 G900p

I had to replace the main camera on this phone. In doing so I severed the ribbon cable that connects the back button to the charge port board. I have since replace the charge port board put the phone back together but now it wont connect to the network, nether the sprint network or my home WiFi network. when on Sprints network the spark icon spins like normal and when on WiFi the antenna icon shows WiFi strength as normal but webpages wont load Google says " cant connect to the network " and apps that require web access just continue to try to load with no response. The Phone does make calls and texts.
Does anyone know what I may be missing?
Thanks In Advance.

Ok, I replaced both coax antennas, did a factory reset and it's working fine now.
DidnĀ“t work for my N920P 5.1.1. Thanks anyway.
