u answered is flow on last topic, how about now ?
can u tell me how to debug the lpLineInfo struct ?
Two possible answers:
A: Turn the phone on
B: HTC have changed the memory map allocation
I have some debug code behind the stuff I posted earlier to dump the entire contents of the lpLineInfo struct. i'l try and see what teh problem is.
this is talked from tyfy
There are 2 things you can do.
If you want to know if you are runnung on an XDA then use lineGetGeneralInfo to get Model and Manufacturer.
For my XDA the Manufacturer comes up as HTC and the Model as Wallaby.
When you use lineGetGeneralInfo I have found that the phone needs to be on otherwise the call fails.
As an alternative you could use lineGetRadioPresence to see if there is a radio.
Both of there methods are in documented in ppc3sdkr.chm that comes with the PocketPC 2002 SDK.

im trying to compare these two dll files but i dont reall know how to
I use this app.
http://www.ultraedit.com/index.php?name=Content&pid=34
I also recommend the free (!) WinDiff, on which I've elaborated in depth at http://discussion.brighthand.com/showthread.php?t=215073
hmm i like the ultraedit but it makes the dlls look all wierd. maybe its supposed to be like that.
my problem is that the dll bta2dp.dll from tornado makes the a2dp work. and the bta2dp.dll from treo 750v does allow it to work.
i feel this file is necessary but i dont know the differances
I presume that's a typo because as I read it, both dll's allow your application to work?
I don't understand the problem, if you have have one that works then isn't that the solution? I don't get what you're trying to achieve. DLL's are composed of functions which are dynamically linked to at runtime from the application code. If the parameters passed from the application to the function in the DLL differ from one version to another, or the return information is different then that's the reason why one works and the other doesn't.
Unless you have the programming skill to debug the procedure as it is entered and subsequently change it then there's nothing that you're going to be able to do other than compare version numbers of the files but since you have already found one that works, what's the issue?
David.
(Now I've noticed you try to compare binary files - windiff is only usable for comparing textual ones. Sorry.)
Here is what I found from the source code, anymore?
*#06# Display IMEI
*#*#8351#*#* Voice Dialer Logging Enabled
*#*#8350#*#* Voice Dialer Logging Disabled
*#*#4636#*#* Phone Setting
*#*#7262626#*#* FieldTest
android.provider.Telephony.SECRETE_CODE
Already know that 5 Secret Code but could not find any thing which can out it into Diagnostic Mode which was there in Windows Mobile.
Please Upload the Source code also so every body also start searching for something very usefull.

The source code is online and available VIA git
And if you are trying to use the field test use anycut to make a shortcut on the desktop and it has a menu item to output diagnostics.
Of course if you have DDMS or Eclipse you can output diagnostics as well.. I believe they have a linux boot image on open handset alliance
those aren't that secret, and aren't anything special.
Any app can register a "secret code" and they are specified in the manifest.xml file.
most of the time those numbers are things like "INFO" and are a lot easier to remember if you think of them that way instead of the digits.
We talking abiut the Diagnostic Mode of Phone Radio so we can plug the Phone into USB and get QxDM (Qualcomm Extendible Diagnostic Mode) Software and look into Radio NVItem from 0 to 4000. DDMS is useless for that kinda Stuff. Radio Software is build using Some Different Core other then Linux, i have seen commnet of CMonex He said it the same as General other Radio, Remeber Radio and Android is connected with RIL (Radio Interface Layer) using Internally Exposed Serials Ports.
did somebody say exposed serial port?
Over my head a bit, but sounds cool, internally exposed serial ports sound useful, id assume you,d get i/o from both sides radio/droid. Back on the WIZ you could find a radio that works with the rom ver. and carrier to get best clarity, call handling, stability and battery life. This is cool reminds me of the early days of palm os rom hacking/cooking (we didn't call it that back then)
I'm glad I got it and I'm glad its an htc, so the homies at xda-dev will have this bad boy totally tricked out and custom...I love this plave, in a non homo way
Will we all be adding db9 ports on pur g1s
Bhang
no, i do not believe we will ever see a db9 on the G1. First of all, that connector went out of style in the late 90's and second, its rather huge (want do drill a hole in your screen to make room for it??). I would however like to see usb host, but someone commented that it is probably not enabled in the kernel and if it is, there are no drivers for it (hint hint driver g writers). cmonex (is a girl by the way) has been looking into methods to get root on RC30 and many other things so we hope to see some fun new hacks from that.
nice shrring, this is a good source where someone can learn something about their mobile secret functions, meantime i would like to share something which i found last week this is a site where it has network unlock code for all mobiles find further
First question : Is there any accelerometer bublle level like the incredible android one for Jave J2M Samsung S5600 (Player Star) phone ? Or anyway, is there any solution to port this app from adroid to java Mobile ? I got the source jar if anyone is interested to have a look inside. It does not lauch on my mobile, certainly due to protection and very different Android OS...
Second question :
I would like to find a way for overriding the Exe/jave/games/folder to point it to my mmc sdcard ? Is there a way to do it via nv_default.ini without bricking the phone ? A better solution would be to offer both databse update search and and thos two path in ?!
I'm really not familliar with this phone OS, so if there anyone who can tell me if this system is modifiable or modable, just let me know...
Free Bonus Question : I also have a nice HTC touch P3450, wich has been succesfully updated to the latest avaible firmware. I dont know if this phone have an accelerometer ? Can anyone tell it to me ? I don't think so because none of the apps are hanging this feature, but i'm asking it also
when do you guys think microsoft will stop giving out the activation keys?
i think soon cause of this new rom, but i'm happy i got my key already. lol
I'm already suprised they don't verify imei numbers before giving it to you.

Because you're going to see a load of banned Live IDs for this...
This must only be in the US and I have a HTC Trophy 7 in the UK and working on my live account without activating

because they're talking about flashed HD2's which require activation
I'd be wary about doing it just so I don't get Xbox banned

I have my imei and hd7 before so if they want it...I got it
my hotmail is also associated as dvp previously owned hd7
so I'm in the clear if microsoft has a problem
I Don't think they should have a problem anyways, it's not like WP7 is sky rocketting these days and this HD2 boost brings a lot of developers on board and a lot of attention, they are probably doind MS a favor... WP7 on the HD2 is the best thing that happend for WP7 since it launched, now with a far larger user-base, they can rack up money from Marketsales.
Besides, they can't check if you don't have an HTC HD7, they can probably ban all of those who activated their "HD7's" in the last week, but that will be very very wrong.
And lets say they do ban us, that will just make people mad and probably more anxious to hack the system even further.

Love your logic. Actually, considering imei and serial numbers are device specific, if they would have asked, that would have stopped most people right there.
How many hd2's do you think are in the world? I don't think all that many. And how many xda members actually spend money on programs??? Most want them all for free.

There is conflict when you have two sep phones with same account @live.com (ie: real wp7 and hd2-wp7) and then sign in at same time to try and use xbox live.
Edit/Update:
Wondering how live pvk and id goes to phone in hd2-wp7 situation where no real device provisioning partition exists?!?!?!??! This leads me to think that maybe:
Perhaps with Cotulla's partition layout over 4 seperate nand areas it would be an option to modify this and his wp7 spl because the activation thing happened AFTER (live activation hack around etc) he had finished leo70 release and then..........
-whilst jtag/usb or eth/debug happening- (obviously you'd though of this b4- im just theorizing- let me know if way off)- to take a HTC HD2 (LEO70) that HAS BEEN ACTIVATED ON LIVE and see where/how/when/with/which partitions, filesys, regkeys, etc, have pvk for live or the ffu and then insert a test cert like ur own xbmod/chevron. or whatever is in sdk for 7 or ce. and then utilize this to diff and comp. I dont see why not. Then .ffu then self signature.[/QUOTE]
If anyone is looking at doing this and needs hardware or I can help let me know thanks. Also:
Anyway to DUMP the newly-activated after-hack after-key after-ms-call hd2 wp7 contents completely? Any news on this unknown filesystem and sd jbod with nand? If a way to extract device provisioning partition etc. Not interested so much in live but more HSPL-for-WP7 creation to allow custom roms. Can not seem to find much on this. Anyone got ideas on own signature or other method using pre-existing leo70 nand parts as workaround maybe?
For the record - I have used a singled live key from Microsoft activation phone call more than 4 times on 2 devices and it works fine over and over: you have to consider fact that if vendor or product id was misflashed at factory onto DPP then every hardreset would not wipe this (unsure)? eitherway:
does ne1 know what the key over the phone from microsoft is actual doing? is this key taken with say imei or serial of phone and maybe your @live.com unique GUID and seeded or used with hash or some algorithm to produce a pvk for device provisioning partition? or it simply override and enable live? are there only one type of activation key over phone? seems there could be ones maybe based on your live address+guid and ones that completely allow model and oem identification to be cleanly changed?
I am just theorizing here from what I have been reading. Finally: Is it true that uk/etc MS stopped giving out keys and referring ppl to HTC etc for key2live?

I think the limit is 3 devices per key before MS drops the hammer.
microsoft germany support asked me for the IMEI of my HD7 (which is of course a HD2). the support guy entered the number i told him and i got an activation key.
i thought they maybe have a list of IMEIS from phones suitable for running WP7, but apparently not ...
in windows mobile it is possible thru such apps as advanced configuration
where the radios will auto off when the phone idles for a xx period of time and will turn back on once the phone becomes active
i like to know if anyone knows how to do it on a windows phone
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-advanced-configuration-tool.html
there is a place for Q's, you should use it.
Why did you not link to the original site? @schaps of TouchXperience, the same guy who wrote Advanced Config. for WP7, wrote the WinMo version. It has a forum and everything, even...
What you're asking for *might* be possible using SetDevicePower, although it may require an interop-unlocked phone. I'm not sure if the background agents are "smart" enough to detect idle time in this way.
Also, seriously, post in the correct section. You've been here easily long enough to know better.
Thread moved.. remember.. if you can tag it with [Q], it not not belong in a forum not including Q&A...
