Sandisk WiFi - Where to buy? - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Accessories

I'm going to buy a Sandisk/Socket WiFi card for my Himalaya.
The big question is: WHERE?
Buying it in shops here in Norway: $200-$220
Buying it from webshops in Norway: $160-$190
But I'm going to London for about a week in September.
Could any kind Englishman tell me if there's any money to save by buying it in London?
(Or any kind soul who can help me with mail ordering in the UK, and forwarding? Nah, didn't think so..)

have you tried frys.com? its in US though

here they cost about 100$

maybe some of the shops ship to norway

[Q] When will this Carphone Warehouse exclusivity end?

I don't want to have to pay £549 for this device, particularly since it's only $529 in the USA (!!). I'm guessing that Carphone Warehouse will keep the phone at this overpriced level for as long as possible though.
Has caught any mention at all of how long this exclusive deal with Carphone Warehouse will last?
Carphone Warehouse is owned by Best Buy so prob exclusive to them the same amount of time it is to Best Buy. Could be a while.
Try ebay, you might find a cheaper price.

eBay is a good idea, however it seems unlikely that people will be buying from Carphone Warehouse (the only place to buy) to then sell off cheap on eBay. I guess some people may import them, dodge the VAT, then sell cheap on eBay.
Ordered mine from CPW on the day it was announced. After import duty and delivery and waiting for them to show up on eBay I doubt it would be cheaper, and £550 is still cheaper than an iPhone4.
Phoned the local store it's being delivered to today and they don't know when it will be there so just have to wait for the head office to send it out and let me know.

[Q] Availability in Greece at a reasonable price

Having read up and deciding this is the bad boy I want to purchase I have been looking around for a retailer in Greece.
I have only found one online retailer selling this at 699 euros.
Anyone know if there is a place selling it for its proper price???
Closest place is ebay, unless you find it at a retailer. But then you've got international shipping.
I would wait for a month or so, it'll probably become available on more retailers and the price should decrease as well.
Can't you buy from Amazon.co.uk? The tablet is cheaper there than announced price in my country (Poland) and shipping is free to some countries.
Check this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056261

should i buy for cheap or its the right price?

Well i live in lebanon , im seeing the sensation online being sold for between 550$ and 650$ , while in lebanon the official htc agent is selling it for around 800$ , while other shops are selling it for 550$ and 580$ , so my question is are the cheap prices are there for a reason? should i be scared? or should i buy it for 800$?
Are there no websites that ship to lebanon? (ebay I guess) Cause thats a hefty sum for a phone... Do you travel ever? WIth those kind of prices, I would wait it you travel to a different country and buy it there.

Buying a Note in the US

Hi all
I'm from Ireland and I'm going to be in the US in september and I'm hoping to buy a note 10.1 as it's much cheaper there than it is in Ireland (in the order of $150 cheaper).
What is the best brick and mortar store?
Best buy seems to be the only place I can find that (on the net atleast) would have in stock, also is there anything I'm not thinking about? taxes or the charges which may affect me I'm going to california by the way.
Office Max is a good brick n mortar store, that sells the G-Note 10.1 All you have to pay extra is California's state sales tax.

I bought mine from newegg.com for $499 with free shipping (ups 3days) and without tax
while I was in a hotel in Texas for a business trip.
But I think you'll end up paying tax in California if you order from newegg.
Goto www.nowinstock.net and check out other online stores as well.
Good luck.
Thanks for the advice guys. I'm now thinking to avoid sales tax(and wasting my time finding stores) to buy the note 10.1 and Tab2 7.0(for my gf) on Amazon and have it shipped to my gf dad who lives in cali

I may be mistaking something, but how are you avoiding tax by purchasing online? Does it depend on the state you ship it to? I live in Canada, so I'm not used to this tax exemption concept.
well my understanding(recent research from google) is that most states have sales tax which is charged on top of the price of good at point of sale. I'm not exactly sure how online retailers avoid having to pay sales tax but I believe it has to do with selling good from outside the state where the customer is.
In the US, you usually don't pay sales tax online UNLESS the store has a physical presence in your state. That has it's exceptions though, like Amazon, here in CA you currently don't pay tax to sales fulfilled directly by them (sales fulfilled by 3rd parties on Amazon still carry tax IF they are in your state) because they have no physical presence in CA, however, through a deal made last year between CA and Amazon, we will have to start paying sales tax on ALL Amazon purchases, regardless of whether it's coming directly from them or from a 3rd party. If you want sales tax free online stuff in CA after September, you'll have to go with somebody like B&H, JR or Adorama, who are all located in New York City.

[Q] Canadians ordering electronic goods from UK

Good evening everyone, i am running into a minor problem and i wish to get this sorted out asap with your help.
okay, so i live in Canada - Vancouver, ordered this tablet from Handtech which is from England UK for the following amount
-$475 Tablet Canadian Dollars
-$20 FEDEX Shipping and handling Canadian Dollars
Searched online and there seems to be 3 categories: Duties, Taxes, and brokerage. I live in BC so the taxes here are 12%.
so my question is, does anyone have any experiences ordering from UK and shipping it into Canada? Cause i am having a hard time figuring out what "fees" i need to pay. The product is not shipped out yet, so i need to decide whether i should cancel my order if it exceeds my budget.
would greatly appreciate it if anyone has an answer to my problem.
Thank you,
Regards,
Lito
