Extended Battery!!!! - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Accessories

Anyone bought the Extended Battery? i saw it's available from the uk O2 website, but without the specifications about it... if someone own it, pls dont hesitate to post some informations about it here ... thanks.

Do you mean for the xda II? If so, I don't think that there is one.... if you look at the site http://www.xda-2.co.uk/accessories/peripherals.html the extended battery is for the original XDA which is a little misleading to say the least as it is on the xda ii accessories site.

And i am still waiting, on the delivery. ordered it a full month ago at expansys. and today they informed me that they expect the delivery at the end of february. to much iffsssss and whennnnnsss

Officially there is an extended battery for the XDA II. You can however use a spare (charge it in the sync station). The only one is for the XDA (which you couldn't take the battery out of so it kinda screwed on).
You can however (shortly) get an expansion pack for the XDA II which will house an extra battery and give you outputs to monitors and compact flash compatibilty too - at a price - £89.99. Due to be released in the next few weeks.
As far as I know! - work for O2!

Which Model should I Buy?

Hi I'm new to the forum, I've had an old XDA from O2, now I'm looking to upgrade to a later model.
There seems to be 2 different XDA2 models, the XDA2i and the XDA2s,
could you discuss the merrits of both models so I might make an informed choice when I purchase.
Thanks in advance.
this page compares all the XDA models and will let you see which is the best one to choose

I personally have a the XDA 2i which is the best specs wise ... and i also think it is the best design too, the foldout keyboard just really puts me off the XDA 2s.
But if you still cant decide, just go into the O2 shop, there only too happy to let you see the difference.
Take a look at the Jam/Qtek S100/MDA compact too - i've just dropped my XDA2 for one and am very happy..

Perfect. Emailed 'em for a quote.
As it turns out, I started a post with O2 sales yesterday, and I wasn't aware as I just found out tonight as I was doing homework on various phones(!), but theres two new variations of the JAM just about to come out - the XDA Atom and XDA Mini S. If the price is right, I'll probably end u going for one of those instead now, what with half price staff offers and whatnot.
Would be good to have this as a backup/something to sell on ebay if the repair price is right.

XDA IQ coming May 9th

The XDA IQ will be available internally on the 2nd, and publically on the 9th of May.
Havnt got a source, sorry, but I heard in good faith.
Finally, been waiting for o2 uk to release this phone for ages..
i have an xda atom (for about a month) which i'm thinking about selling and getting an xda iq instead... - anyone seen side by side photo comparisons of the two units? or maybe an tornado next to a prophet?
the atom is nice but i think i'd prefer going back to a normal phone form factor (so long as it isnt too big) and save myself about £100 in the process.
