Can you help me with this problem? Everytime the phone rings, is powered on, or try to listen to MP3 or ringtones, there's a screeching sound that overshadows the sound being emitted, whether song or ringtone, etc.
Yet, I can make and receive phone calls and am able to hear the caller thru the same speaker clearly and with no screeching. What could be causing this problem and how can I fix it?
Thank you.
Shmi

havent tested it and may not be 100% what you need but you get the general idea
strange that they can hear it. when i get a tone during a call only i can hear it.
I second shortening the sms tone... tho that doesn't completely solve the problem.
i'm not aware of a solution as i never heard it was a problem
i'll get back to you if i find anything
I love my tilt2 speakerphone. Hoever, it does one thing strange. I am calling and get someoines voicemail, the "beep" tone to signal that you can leave a message gets muffled and doesn't sound right, sometimes you almost can't hear it. I am guessing that this is an issue due to maybe the phone interperts the beep as noise which it tries to muffle?
If I am not in speakerphone mode then the "beep" come through loud and clear, so obviously it is not a problem with the phone's speaker choking on the sound,
Anyone else experiencing the same thing?
I have the AT&T Fuze and the sound has suddenly dropped so low that I cannot hear it ringing or hear notifications unless I have it pressed to my ear in a quiet room. A phone that you can't hear ringing is practically useless. Any ideas as to what I can do? AT&T is no help whatsoever.
This might be normal, but not sure. When I make a call and the other person answers, there is a 'pop' or a 'thump' in the ear speaker and I can feel a slight vibration in the phone itself. It's not a full vibrate pulse but more like the speaker pop that causes it. Is this normal? I went into call settings and it doesn't seem like there is a vibrate on connection option so it's hard to tell.
It just seems like the earpiece speaker makes a 'thump' as it wakes up when the voice comes through. Everything else is fine, sound quality during the call is great, it makes no noise or vibration as it's ringing just when they answer.

It is normal although I wish there was a way to disable it. Haven't found a way yet.
I am on OP7 Pro running Pie. When I am using the phone holding it, speaker phone, BT headset just during a call, any notification makes a beep sound. It is the same sound you would hear with other phones like Samsung, LG, etc when you have a call waiting, someone calling while on a call. It makes that beep sound if you understand.
My frustration is it's the same beep sound for anything, text, FB messenger, phone system alerts, anything that is an alert I get the same beep which makes me think I have a call waiting since it's the same sound. It's annoying because if I ignore it I think I could be missing a call so it keeps me looking at phone or pulling it out my pocket when on a call.
If this makes sense to anyone, how to change the alerts when I am on a call?
