Help: I recieved my Qtek (XDA) with out the cradle & charger. Being impatient and not waiting for the rest of the package to arrive, I bought a compatible off the shelf charger. The first charge went fine but the next day it stopped charging. When I did finally recieved the original charger, the device still will not charge and eventually the battery was completely drained. There are no official service centers for the XDA. Can anyone help?? PLEASE
I don't know what is wrong but, try phoning the XDA Repair centre. They should be able to fix the problem (for a price) (UK)

I restarted recovery and took the battery out just as the phone was supposed to restart, and I think I burned the battery pin connectors, I'll buy a new battery today and see if the phone charges, I'm hoping for the best

No it doesent turn on and I connected the battery to a PC speaker that I have and the sceaker made that sound that it usually does when connected to a power source so it is definitly not the battery problem, it's something to do with the rest of the phone. Since it doesent do anything I think it's dead :crying:
My phone died on me too, the last rom I installed on it was the cm-10.2-20130907-NIGHTLY-crespo.zip
I also have a similar problem - when traveling on a plane recently I pulled the battery. Since then the phone won't start - If i plug the charger in the screen flashes once briefly and then turns off without displaying anything. To make things worse the power button broke months ago.
Does anyone have any suggestion what to try before going to have it serviced?
Cheers

is there a way to jumpstart the phone ???
Hi, I have a problem with my touch screen.
When i boot it up it's working but when i press the standby button screen is off and then press it again its turning on but touch it's not working anymore and i need to reboot it :/
Someone know why it happens?
I already removed everything from it, And it's still not working.
I have the same issue. When factory reset, everything works fine. After a moment on standby mode, screen does not seem to acknowledge touch. Instead it seems to sense a touch that is not there. Sounds like a software issue to me. I plan on rooting my gear 2 and trying to upgrade the firmware. Maybe that will help

Just to add a little info, my gear must have accidentally updated while my phone was in my pocket. It was stuck in bootloop, did that until it died, then after 2 days of charging it, only for it to not hold a charge, I finally was able to put it into recovery mode. This all worked fine until it went into standby. I will play around with it a little this weekend and see if I can get us an answer.
I confronted a weird battery problem. Before this problem started, my nexus 5's screen was flickering. I researched and the flex cable was the reason of problem. I replaced it with a new one. Now my led light colors has changed. This can be acceptable but there is one big problem. Whenever I charged the phone fully, and plug it out, using some apps and whenever I use social media apps such as Instagram, Twitter, screen freezes and sometimes it reboots itself. Always this problem occurs when charge is over %60. However, when it is under %60 everything works normal. And when I plug in charge, it also freezes for a while. It's been approximately 3 years and 8 months since I bought it. Is it battery problem or else? What do you suggest?

yes. i'm running Resurrection Remix 7.1.2 currently.
Do a full nandroid back up and flash stock see if problem persists
alright i am going to do it. I don't think it is related with software because it happens when charge is higher than %60-65. By the way, if a xda user mentions about software, I'll take it into account of course. I'll try it in few hours and feedback here.

I've flashed stock 4.4.4 kitkat. Even in setup, it reboots itself, charge is full. I don't know what to do.

It's better and have you greenify with amplify with xposed installed?
At night I was left with 90% battery . But at morning I found my phone on floor dead. I tried to open it , but it shows empty battery. Then I tried charging then MI logo came and again showed empty battery and phone is not charging. There is no external damage to the phone as I used a rugged cover. What can I do now? I tried force reboot , fastboot etc. But no response , just MI logo and empty battery while charging.
I think, the battery cable is disconnected. You need to remove back cover and connect it. (Back cover is glued)
hi...i get similar (weird) boot/battery loop affer display replacement.

Any help guys?
update:
i noticed that if i connect the broken lcd (screen completely dark) and connect to the laptop via usb it bootloop but after some times...(30 min or more) the laptop start recognize it . at that point i connect the NEW lcd (without disconnect power) and i can see that android is up&running...but touch screen doest work.
Any idea please?
Ok..if it can be of any interest...things are emproving....
Now situation is.....if i connect the new lcd to the motherboard....connect the battery and the usb cable to my laptop.....and i leave the connection this way for around 30 min....the phone boot up and it work normally.
The only problem is when i reboot it again .because it start looping again and i have to wait another 30 min to have a mobile fully working.
In addition ive noticed that when the phone is working...the battery is instuck at 50%. And battery settings say that phone is NOT in cherge even if the usb is connected to the mobile.
I belive that the charge circuit is broken....
Now i have to pray that is just the little pcb that cost only 10 bucks...more or less.....
---------- Post added at 07:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:46 PM ----------
Obviusly ive already tried a different battery and a different usb cable....

It might be a faulty flat cable between the main motherboard and the small board with the usb port? Just a wild guess..
Ia it glued to the screen assembly with a strong glue? You could try using the flat cable from the old display
i will give it a try and let you know.
thx for your help

Both chips responsable of power management and charge are on the main board. Hope they are not "broken/burned" in your case.
