Hello Everyone,
I have been developing this little app for many months now, and I would like to present it to a wider audience
It is still in open testing, but after correcting a few bugs and adding a little more content, I'd like to release it in V1.
You can find details about the app on the GitHub page.
This app generated live wallpapers based on some themes that I designed and coded myself. All arts and events in this app are original content.
I initially wanted to recreate the concept of the Forest Live Wallpaper by Kaka, but the idea was to push the idea further with more scenes and elements.
An image is worth a thousand words, so find here some screenshots from my phone:

So, what is this about?
This little app is meant to make one travel to different lands, where the sky is always blue and countless stars twinkle in the night. Every day, the Sun and the Moon rise and set at times based on your location, illuminating the scene in soft pastel colors. Through the year, the amount of snow and the color of the scene will change based on the season.
This app is 100% ad free, and your data stays on your device. You can use this app as a light/dark automatic mode. The battery consumption is optimized and you shouldn't notice any difference compared to a standard wallpaper.
Just relax, choose your wallpaper and start the journey!
Dowload the app on Google Play StoreWhat do you sign for?
No ads! This is a feel good app, so no ugly banners or annoying popup windows
No locked/premium content at the moment - only a tipping system for the generous souls (Via the Google Play Store)
The app can use the device coarse location to determine its local sunrise, sunset and Moon times
Using this feature triggers a web request to weather-api.com
No personal data is stored/used in any way by this app, other than to provide sunrise/sunset times
Low battery consumption - never mentioned in any Android report. No significant impact on battery life noticed by the users
I have many ideas to implement, such as:
Different landscapes and scenes - 2 different scenes implemented
More color varieties
Details like the clouds, and so much more
Weather system - in a far future
Let me know what you think, and if you are interested in this project, don't hesitate to visit the GitHub page and download the app!
Cheers!

Pendulum Chaos is a simulation of a pendulum wave. By setting up a series of pendulums of carefully selected lengths, a pendulum wave effect is generated.
GET IT HERE!
For the fellow geeks out there, the basic equation I used is theta(t)=theta0*cos(t/sqrt(L/g)). The pendulum lengths are calculated with L(i)=g(1/(2PI*I(i)))^2.
You can also find cool videos of actual pendulum waves on youtube! These videos are also what prompted me to write this app.
How to use?
It's all pretty self-explanatory. You control the number of pendulums, initial swing angle, overall speed, pendulum size and colours.
I even allowed swing angles of up to 360 degrees to get effects impossible in an experimental setup.
Experiment with them yourself to get some really nice graphics!
Tip: Use similar shades of color, perhaps of light and dark brightness levels, and allow some transparency to your colors, then slow down the simulation speed to really appreciate the wave effect.
If you have any questions, you can email me at [email protected] or post on my blog woolfloats.blogspot.com, which I am embarrassed to admit I am sorely neglecting...
I have also written another app called NTW Text Editor which you can download from the Market. It allows the editing of files with no file size limit, and will also bookmark all your editing progress in every file. If you liked Pendulum Chaos, pls do take a look at NTW too ;-)
v1.3 is out!
Changes from v1.0
- Fixed the lack of proper launcher icons.
- Autosaves your settings upon exiting the app,
- Blurrify mode for really dreamy looking graphics
- Shorter pendulums are now smaller in size than longer pendulums,
- Tweaked the pendulum lengths to make better use of available screen space.
Sooooo pwweeetty
v1.4
- Colors are now calculated using pendulum length and swing angle combined.
- Even more dreamy effect by making the blurriness dependent on swing angle and length as well!
Ahem, pls help me share my vid? I'm hoping to make it go viral
Follow the advice of the moon.
The software “Garden calendar” contains recommendations for everyday handling of plants according to the phase of the Moon. Different phases of the Moon have different influence with plants. By using the software you will be able to tend plants properly according to the forces of nature. For example, during waning moon roots are very hurtable, so this is not a good time for transplanting.
Moreover, software recommendations take into account position of the Moon towards zodiacal constellation.
The software defines favorable days for garden activity: days for planting, watering, weeding and many other activities.
The most distinctive feature of this calendar (unlike any of other calendars existed on the Internet) is the correction on precession phenomenon. As is well-known, precession phenomenon causes the move of first point of aries towards the Sun by 1degree the 72 years. Approximately 2000 years ago signs of the zodiac and zodiacal constellations almost coincided, but the move by one sign of zodiac (approximately 30degrees) has taken place between now and then. This points to the fact that ordinary lunar calendars go wrong with the position of the Moon in zodiacal constellations. This option is in programme settings.

this much increase the file size?
Garden calendar Pro has few differencies:
- Off-site advertising banners failure;
- The algorithm of sowing calendar is available;
- The sowing calendar has no date limitations;
- It has more than 30 crop names (groundnut, shortest carrot, maize etc.);

Hi, just wanted to brag a little about a new wallpaper I made.
It uses a little of demoscene-like graphics techniques to generate images and animations that I personally enjoy a lot - but I'm yet unsure whether I'm the only one.
For those graphics-coding-inclined: it makes a heavy use of pixel shaders, basically computing distance functions for combinations of simple shapes (http://www.iquilezles.org/www/articles/distfunctions/distfunctions.htm) and then texturing the surface with these shapes replicated. Although the word 'texturing' is used in a loose sense here, since there is no geometry of the tunnels and grids that you can see in the app - everything is happening in pixel shaders, issued on quads covering all or part of the screen and the 3D-like surfaces are obtained through coordinate transformations.

As you can see on the image, the customization options allow to obtain very different looks, so I decided to release a series of free wallpapers each showing one distinctive preset from the full app. The first one is Neon Tunnel:

Let me know what you think about it.
I'm happy to answer any technical questions. I'll probably do a technical write-up on my blog soon, whether anyone's interested or not.
Cool wallpaper! I am glad that Magic Fluids and Waterfloo now have a successor. Will there be a regular app gui in the future?

Thanks! There might be. I thought about making a separate app that would allow the user to control the shape-morphing process and design the images for yourself. But if the wallpaper doesn't take off, I might just slap the regular app mode on top of the wallpaper and call it a day.
There is some activity in your app's thread, in case you missed it.
I'm also a fan of your apps! The patterns in the wallpaper look beautiful. I want to program sth similar, and play around with it.

With a regular app gui you could maybe offer other ways to play around with the shapes .
A 3D volume renderer visualizing shapes would be cool. But that might be computationally too expensive for Android devices.

Color Rain
Download Version 1.3.5
Description:
Color Rain is a game I created based on the Stroop effect. Using different colors and their names, this effect occurs. The Stroop effect is defined as a demonstration of interference in the reaction time of a task.
How to play:
As fast as you can, tap the words that correspond to their color. Let 5 matches drop out of the screen and the game is over.
Hits are awarded for correct matches. Each match also adds to a bonus at the end. The sooner a match is tapped after appearing, the higher the bonus points.
Features:
*free
*no time limit
*change background color (in game only)
(color bar shown below options while adjusting)
About:
I created this app after playing a couple others using the same idea, the Stroop effect, but I wanted to add a twist. I also had a hard time with certain colors sometimes so in my version I added an option to change the background color. This will help others that are also color blind. This is my first official game release so its not perfect. I am continuing to work on it so it will get better. If you have any issues then please feel free to post a comment about it and I'll address it as soon as I can. If you're having a problem with things aligning, please post a screenshot. Thank you.
Currently working on new features to be released today...
*increase/decrease word size option
*option to disable multi-font for words
*high score saving
Here are some updates you can expect to see coming to the game soon...
*multiple play options (free mode, timed, speed, etc)
*online ranking system
** Updated **
High score is now saved. Decided against adding options to resize words or disable multi-font, for now. More to come!
Download here or use link in OP
Has anyone tried my game?
:good::good::good:
Gave it a shot, it's good. I'd like to see better overall look/art.
Thanks. I'll work on a better gui, since it is pretty basic looking at the moment.
- Lovely Wallpaper, koi fish pond, 3D rendered in OpenGL 2.0, has amazing pure water effects, is fully interactive and one of the best wallpaper available for free. Swipe the screen to get the water to ripple, swish and swirl in any direction. The water responds to your touch by moving fast and allows you to make your own unique patterns.
- Beside, with many background/theme, creatures, plan and other beatiful effects, you can mix them together to make the beautiful, extremely realistic fish pond .
- If you feel boring with exists background/theme that we provide, you can choose your favourite image from your side and set it as background.
- If all of those things don't let you make you happy, dont worry, because we allow you to combine between your picture and our theme to export the most beautiful background that you've never seen before.
- It only uses battery when the screen is ON. Once the screen is turned off, the app STOPS CONSUMING power.
- And many other interesting things that waiting for you to explore , and trust us, we will not let you down.
- We also will support you to fix bug as soon as possible
- Last but not less important, our app totally FREE and NO LIMITATION. You dont have to wait or spend any penny to get all app features :fingers-crossed:.
- In order to improve our wallpaper for users, we have added advertisements in the preview mode and settings page. We hope that you will understand and keep supporting us like you always have. We will consider about removing ads feature in next version :good:.
Enjoy yourself :silly:!
