Question Apps failing to establish connection on my poco x3 pro - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

Hello, I've had my poco x3 pro since march 2022 and haven't had any problems with it until recently, some specific apps such as games, discord or facebook messenger have started to fail to establish connection either while on wifi connection or while using mobile data, (usually most of them don't connect while on wifi, but some like messenger won't connect on either), any idea how to fix this? I already trying reseting my network settings but it didn't work, I'm thinking that maybe I should try to just factory reset but I wanted to try to ask first

If you have an unlocked bootloader, backup your data and flash the latest fastboot Global ROM. If the issue persists, maybe your hardware is damaged.

sadly I never unlocked it before, I started the process a moment ago so I guess I'll have to wait 7 days :')

Hi
How did you upgrade?
OTA , flashing??
If OTA did you upgrade al your apps , maybe one of them is making trouble
If flashing , how? and also did you upgrade your apps
Hey, thanks for the answer. It was OTA. I suppose all apps are up to date since I restored to factory settings and re-installed them.
The problem is still there even in safe mode...

Hi
yeah is odd , i would think it has to be app related .....
When you get the error ..after you introduce the password? what about if you ask your phone to forget your old connection , it allows you to connect to the new one then?
I would try to wipe dalvik and cache from recovery and /or reflash stock rom again..maybe something went wrong at least the modem

I tried to wipe the cache with no success. I am on a trip right now, and I cannot wipe the dalvik for the moment.
I figured out a walkthrough though using a third party app called "WIFI manager". I even managed to install a certificate and use it for a connection to an "eduroam" network...

More information needed.
Bootloader state unlocked or not, MIUI version or custom Rom version, Magisk used or not, what were you doing right before auto rebooting, what is the state now (in bootloop/recovery/fastboot or in system)... etc. Screenshots better.
You can try to update the system if there is update available.
Same here. I'm using TWRP + EU ROM 12.0.6.0 Global + Unlock Bootloader. System was reboot randomly without any notice. At first i install Magist and root device but right now no root and already uninstall Magisk. But system still automatically reboot in randomly times usually about 2-3 times reboot in a day.

Try a complete clean flash with current version which will format all data. Backup your stuff if you want to do this.
If after clean flash the issue persist, it's likely Rom's problem.
If after clean flash the issue vanished, problem is likely due to apps you use.

My poco x3 pro was also working fine for 1 month without issue and from 1-2 it suddenly keeps restarting in sometimes in few minutes and sometimes it works fine for hours did someone found any solution to this??
I was facing this problem on PPUI rom and assumed that issue was with the rom so installed MIUI EU 12.5.1 version which seems to have fixed the issue. But it seems cause was not the ROM but something different.

Question Bluetooth device jamming data connection

Hello
I've noticed that when I am trying to use my JBL Xtreme wireless speaker, my data connection is useless, can't navigate under no circumstances.
I already did a data&network restore and changed nothing.
I had to stop using the speaker, do a airplane mode for about 3 minutes and after that the internet on data connection started to work.
Does anyone else has this problem? Do you have any idea or solution?

Thanks for answering.
I use stock ROM, MIUI Global.
I won't do a hard reset because I just installed my system and it's stable.
I guess I will drop using that speaker and that's that. The problem is only with that speaker, other Bluetooth devices works fine, without interference with data connection.
Maybe factory reset of the Bluetooth will work , idk.

First check if your phone still have IMEI number read from the system. It will be a key thing for warranty.
If you are back in MIUI, you can try to ask for help from Xiaomi customer service/ repair center.
Let them check for hardware issue or not.
You will have to check for your country Xiaomi policy to see if they cover warranty even after bootloader unlocked.

Question Spotify has no connection to WLAN

Hello all
My ROM: MIUI Global ROM 13.0.5 (SLAMIXM)
I have a strange issue with my 12S Ultra using Spotify or a Browser of any kind. When connected to WLAN Spotify has no connection to the Internet and I noticed that when I tap on a sponsored google-ads link (on the top) on any browser on the phone, I get a "Connection Failed" message, Spotify on the phone on web works fine, Browser link on the PC work fine too . This happens to two completely different Internet environments at different house's too. I posted my issue to the Spotify Forum https://community.spotify.com/t5/Android/No-Connection-with-WLAN/m-p/5476052/highlight/true#M195356 but nothing helped. It seems like some kind Firewall on the phone is blocking the lines, but nothing is activated and I don't have an Antivirus either. Factory Reset didn't work, reinstalling the app didn't work, I even reset my router didn't work, but it's obviously a phone related problem I think. Do you know how to fix that or if I should install something to get it to work?

Just to clarify, what is the model (2203121C)?
Because there is no Global rom for the 12S ultra(THOR).

Maybe you bought this phone at a Chinese store and you have a fake rom, check on the startup screen, the first one that appears after a restart, at the top if the padlock is open or closed.

Which means the bootloader is unlocked and this rom whose name has been changed is a Xiaomi EU rom.
Installed the latest version which is xiaomi.eu_multi_THOR_V14.0.2.0.TLACNXM_v14-13-fastboot.zip
for the stable
ou
xiaomi.eu_multi_THOR_V14.0.22.12.19.DEV_v14-13-fastboot.zip
for the weekly.
for it's 2 roms I advise you to use First install.bat which will erase all your data, you can make a backup on Xiaomi Cloud.

afaik the ROM is a custom one from the XIAOMIUI community, so that Google Play Store can be installed as it's restricted in china. So you think updating would help? Its only this two issues so far, I set a whole smart home configuration on Google Home, and it works fine over WLAN. The problem is, Google Backup doesn't work either, that would mean that I have to configure the whole stuff again, because the Xiaomi Backup doesn't backup app settings it seems

By flashing the latest version and erasing the data, your phone will be as it should be.
On Xiaomi Eu roms, the play store is certified without root.
I understand that reconfiguring everything can take time but normally you will have a working phone with updates.
Ok

Ok, I've done it. Damn it's long ago that I've swet so much, I thought I had bricked the phone 🥹 Now that I have the latest ROM with MIUI 14 Android 13 it works both, Spotify with WLAN and clicking the ad-links no idea what that ROM was, it seems like it didn't work how it was supposed to.
